hoep everyone ok and not in too much pain (silly thing to say i know!!) i hope debbsy is getting her bibby (or already has him!) shes been missing for a while!

nj still rooting for you love, jsut push the baby out, dont worry about the cervix! lol, gotta be less painful than what you're going through!

all jokes aside we'r all looking fwd to seeing you on the post natal thread with your little bundles! good luck!

DebbsyandBibby · 30/11/2006 12:10

thanks Stace

NatalieJane · 30/11/2006 14:01

Debbsy {{{hugs}}} I am sorry, these babies have a lot to answer for! Hopefully it won't be much longer
Fondant, sounds like what my DS has had, it is an awful bug, I hope she carries on getting better, DS went back down with it a couple of times before he managed to shake it off properly.
Stacey Yeah, sod my cervix, it isn't as though it will get in the way or anything, I'll just push and push and push shall I?!!! LOL There are times when he feels that low I think it wouldn't take much of a push to get him out! LOL

I have been into town, got loads of christmas shopping done, I have pulled nearly every muscle in my belly, but if over doing it is the only thing to get this baby shifted then it will be worth it!

Had a yummy lunch in my favourite cafe, it is run by the campest, gayest, funniest man I have ever known, I always leave with a smile, and spend the rest of the day giggling to myself over him! LOL

Right I am off to try and hide these pressies, we used to put them all int he spare room but it isn't spare anymore, so no idea where they are going to go! Might take a while....!!!

Hi again

Nice that those from the post natel thread are saying hello - hopefully see you over there at some point .

Debbsy - does sound like we're mirroring each other - I totally agree with you - I'm not planning to move until I'm biting the cushions or the contractions are so close we have to sprint to hospital.

At the moment I feel so sick I'm carrying the vomit bowl around with me everywhere. Tried to have a nap and felt so uncomfortable and sick I didn't know what to do.

The contractions are like buses - I wait ages for one then three turn up at once.

I've been playing stupid games on the PC - I can change position frequently on the office chair and it distracts me little. I did have a walk earlier - didn't speed them up or regulate them or anything - I will have to have a paracetemol soon as the aches between contractions are getting annoying. Baby is moving like nobody's business - definitely think it wants out - although it looks like it's a December baby now.

Do you think we should let the December mum's know they've got company? At least we'll be the first with babies on that thread.

See you all soon

a fed up and aching LA

NatalieJane · 30/11/2006 18:39

LA, I think Decembers lot started having their babies before we had our first November baby in October!!

I don't know about anyone else, but as long as it is OK with the girls on the Nov P/N I am sticking with them, it would feel wierd being a new thread with so many different people now.

saralou100 · 30/11/2006 18:55

hi guys... well i went shopping too today! why is spending money oh so satisfying!! we also went for lunch in our favourite cafe, although the owners not camp, just a miserable old woman, but they do lovely food! i bought a new squishy cushion for breast feeding,so thats put with all the bags to take to hospital! and a pillow that gives you a massage (vibrating stylee) heaven on my poor achey back! i'm using it right now!! went to a friends after, they've got a 5yo ds and he kept our ds so entertained it was fun... came home knackered!! think we've decided they will look after ds when the time finally comes!! this has really been playing on our minds the last week!!

LA, they've already started producing baby's on the december thread, i actually think this is very rude when were still waiting lol

debbsy, i really thought we weren't gonna see you for a few days, and the next we would hear from you would be to tell us all about bibby... shame, but things are getting going at least so it will be very soon!! exciting!!

hi to post natal girlies!! soooooooooo looking forward to joining that thread!!!

tomorrow i'm 1 week overdue and getting the sweep done!! nervous, but not tearful anymore!!

hi to everyone else xx

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 30/11/2006 19:03

Hi Saralou - so nice to hear how positive you are - you're chatty message has cheered me up . If you can be happy about being overdue then it's about time I pulled myself together and just let the baby get on with it.

DP is working late - but has promised me a massage when he gets back. Mum is fidgety she's not used to having so much time to sit around and do nothing. Still she's looking after me - she thinks she can stay another week - hope so. I have a back up birth partner (after DP and Mum) but will feel a bit awkward as although I get on with her really well - I'm not sure about having my bits on show in front of her.

Wondering if it's worth having another bath - although I haven't had a paracetamol yet.

See you all
LA

Sara, how's it going?

Debbsy, anything doing?

Me, I woke up and lost loads of my show again, got periody type pains, but what's new?!!! I am fairly convinced I will end up being induced now, it seems pretty much inevitable now.

Off to have my brekie

OP posts:
Debbsyandbibby · 01/12/2006 06:36

nothing
whats for breakie?

NatalieJane · 01/12/2006 06:40

I'm not sure really, just had a cup of tea, and have decided I am going to buy a new kettle today, we have had our kettle (that cost us £90!!!) for three years, it has leaked since day one when you pour out of it, and I have had enough of cleaning up after it! LOL Poor DH just had a mouthful from me about it, and when he smirked at me I nearly hit him with the damn thing, I think he realised I was being deadly serious and has said I can go and get one 'if it makes me happy' LOL Poor bloke, what has he had to put up with since I've been pregnant?!!!

Hmmm, maybe some taost, or weetabix... can't decide! Might wait till DS get's up and see what he wants!

OP posts:
Debbsyandbibby · 01/12/2006 06:43
