What a numpty! Glad he's got back OK though.
Bet you're excited about giving him the baby grow!!

Fugghetaboutit · 21/08/2015 10:09

Yes I'm still excited! Didn't dampen that thankfully

ShakeATower · 21/08/2015 10:36

Hope all's okay Armani

Fugg, glad he's safe, but sorry you had such a worry.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 21/08/2015 19:22

There might be a problem, got to see consultant on Monday

ShakeATower · 21/08/2015 19:57

Oh shit Armani, I'm so sorry to hear that. Are you okay? Hoping all will be alright on Monday - are you seeing the consultant early on? Thanks

Gillster · 21/08/2015 20:34

So sorry to hear that Armani. Try not to panic too much until you've spoken to the consultant (easier said than done). Hoping it's just a minor thing that can be easily rectified. X

Checking in from rainy Cornwall. Day 5 in the tent of rain. I'm so sorry that you are worried Armani, Flowers

sherbertlemon17 · 22/08/2015 09:32

I'm really sorry to hear that Armani. Thinking of you... I can appreciate how you're feeling. It's shit, you'll be terrified but you'll get through it. Flowers

Fugghetaboutit · 22/08/2015 10:20

I'm new to the group Armani so not sure why you had 5 scans, I really hope everything's ok with your little one. Please keep us updated xx

Fugghetaboutit · 22/08/2015 10:58

Is anyone thinking of names or decided yet? I've just put a thread in baby names x

NoArmaniNoPunani · 22/08/2015 12:47

Thanks, we are trying not to panic or Google. Appointment is first thing Monday so we just need to get through the weekend.

Our baby has had a name since we were 8 weeks along.

HopeItComesLate · 22/08/2015 16:52

Hope things are ok armani its a bit mean of them to make you wait the weekend.
We're struggling with names fugg we have a bit of a short-list but haven't really fell in love with any of them have you had any luck? x

Queazy · 22/08/2015 20:48

So sorry to read this Armani and will be thinking of you Monday. Only one day to go now - hope you and your dp are doing ok.

Fuggs - I saw your post on baby names just now. I love all the names you've listed! I'd love a little girl called Elodie, but we have too many very similar names in the close family Hmm A beautiful name!

Hope everyone is doing well. It's been lovely to read about the little pinks and blues announcements. I so want to read my envelope but dh decided on hols that he definitely doesn't want to know, so staying yellow this time too.

SweepTheHalls · 23/08/2015 14:27

Heading home now, scan on Thursday, I wobble between excited and terrified. I've as little started having teaching anxiety dream, so the holidays must be nearly over Grin

sherbertlemon17 · 23/08/2015 18:13

Ah sweep I totally get the end of holiday dread teamed with the anxiety dreams. What if I've forgotten how to teach?? Or what if the kids won't listen to me anymore? Haha! I was thinking today, that when we go back, I have 11 teaching weeks until I go on maternity leave!!! Grin

When is everyone else starting their maternity leave?

Fuggs, love your name choices! Very pretty!
We have decided on our girls name but are having difficulty deciding on a middle name if it's a boy. There are 2 we both like, but we each like a different one each.

Thinking of you tomorrow Armani

Queazy · 23/08/2015 20:20

I'm not due until 28 Dec, but planning to have my last day on 7 Dec. think that will give me 3 weeks ahead of due date xx

Queazy · 23/08/2015 20:21

Oh no, I think that leaves me with 15 weeks left!!

Tangoandcreditcards · 23/08/2015 21:15

Hope it all goes ok tomorrow armani - thinking of you.

We're settled on a name for each but it's early days, plenty of time for bankers-hormonal-mind-changing at the 11th hour. Your name choices are lovely fugg

I'm due the 30th and going to work as late as poss - 18th I reckon (Fri before Xmas). I've got a much bigger commute than last time, so might be being over optimistic. I really struggled after 36w with DS.

CuppaSarah · 24/08/2015 07:22

Sorry to hear about the hole Sherbert, glad it's not deemed exciting though. NoArmarni I'll have my fingers crossed so tightly for you. Good job not googling, that must have taken a lot of control.

I'm going on maternity leave on the 30th November so at 36 weeks, but using 4 weeks holiday from the start of November still have two weeks holiday to squeeze in between now and then. I only have two full months left yay! I really want some time me and dd before baby arrives.

We went to London Saturday. I couldn't walk yesterday I was so sore, still in a lot of pain today, surprised how crap I've become already! Hopefully some driving will loosen me up.

ShakeATower · 24/08/2015 08:49

Thinking of you today, Armani Thanks

MazyCrummy · 24/08/2015 09:37

And me too armani Flowers

I'm going on maternity leave on 18th December, when I'll be 38+1. My commute is perfectly manageable and my job is physically easy. TBH working until then will be physically easier than stopping work and being at home with a gaggle of overexcited DC Grin

DH is a lecturer - so been off since early July, back from September, and then he finishes the week before me in December. He'll be taking shared parental leave for the rest of the academic year because I'll be back at work after a short maternity leave (self employed) so we've worked out he'll give 13weeks of lectures between this June and next September.

We've got a name picked out and already call baby by it. Best hope the blue isn't a shock pink or she'll have a 'unique' girl's name until we get our heads around the name change!

Have a good week, all!

Fugghetaboutit · 24/08/2015 09:52

Good luck Armani! Thinking of you today.

I'm quite anxious about the sonographer being wrong and it turning out to be a boy! I really want to buy lots of lovely girl things but am holding back! She said they can't say 100% but she couldn't see a penis :) I wouldn't be disappointed at all if it turned out to be a boy though.

HopeItComesLate · 24/08/2015 10:20

Thinking of you today Armani xxx

MazyCrummy · 24/08/2015 11:26

Fugg the sonographer pointed out testicles to us on the screen. I'm hoping that's a reasonable degree of certainty... Grin

NoArmaniNoPunani · 24/08/2015 12:01

Back from scan, the consultant was satisfied that he is ok. It's weird, I should feel really happy but I still feel numb. What a horrible weekend its been
