I think it's me, queazy, gilster and hope keeping ourselves waiting. I've decided that I'm having whatever queazy is having (no idea why). So perhaps the answer is in her envelope. (not a euphemism)

Thanks ladies. It's at 10am so at least I've not got to wait too long. I'd be going crazy if it was at the end of the day!

DH is coming with me and then I'm at my mums for dinner in the evening too, so lots of support either way. I just hope that they say it's the most minor of faults that they aren't even worried about. When it's the heart, it feels so scary though.

So the hole is definitely there but in the words of the consultant "tiny and not very exciting" lol! We have a scan with a fetal cardiologist in 3 weeks and then another at 36 weeks but it shouldn't affect the pregnancy any more than that. It does mean I won't be able to have a water birth though they will have to monitor baby closely during labour so I'm guessing that means being hooked up to the monitors a lot.

Feel so much better knowing that the hole should close by itself by the the time bubba is 1. Fingers crossed!

Enough about me... How's everyone else feeling today?

Sorry for not messaging this morning Sherbert, I've been locked out of this bloody site with all this DadSec crap again, grrr.

So pleased to hear that the hole is small and unexciting! And great news that they're expecting it to close by itself. I hope you're feeling a little more relaxed about things now.

Have had an interesting day trying to keep my mother out of wedding plans / birth plans / life plans - I hereby vow to allow my DD the freedom to make her own decisions at the grand old age of 30.

That's good to hear. That's a shame about no water birth but at least you'll be able to get the good drugs in the labour ward I had an epidural with ds after hours in the pool and it was bliss to sleep for a few hours while contracting every minute but not feel a thing!

I've got scan number 5 tomorrow. Let's hope he's in a better position so they can do all the checks.
