You could see his hair?! That is bloody amazing, I wonder if it means he'll have lots? How lovely will that be.

Hope, I hope you get good news and enjoy the sneaky preview of baby. I wonder if you'll get to see hair too? I'm sure baby will be fine and you're just carrying small.

Tango good luck this week, I hope the last few days whizz by. Barely any commutes left! No more waddling through the tube.

We got our Moses basket all sorted and ready next to the bed, not washed clothes, not got the travel system back out yet and my dad has kindly offered to buy the sling I wanted. Getting the carseat ready on Monday. But we have clothes and nappies and a bed so basically sorted. Got a flat viewing on Friday, its entirely unsuitable for us even before taking finances into account so hoping the land lady doesn't like us. Which could be hard considering how damn loveable I obviously am Wink not too stressed though as I have removal quotes stacked up and about 5 properties lined up in Grimsby. The rental market moves so slow there we'll get our pick of them all.

CuppaSarah · 18/11/2015 15:45

Just got back from the midwives, had urgent bloods sent off for pre eclampsia. Positive protien, along with the floaters and headaches triage dismissed a few weeks ago and slightly elevated blood pressure (by my standards as its normally low) cannot wait for tommorow to hear back.

sherbertlemon17 · 18/11/2015 15:51

Yep 37 weeks this Saturday Tango. Last of the hospital visits (touch wood) for our scan Friday until baby gets here.

Due on the 12th, so if I go over we'll probably get a Boxing Day baby! [santa]

sherbertlemon17 · 18/11/2015 15:52

Just seen your last post Cuppa. Sending you positive thoughts for good news tomorrow!

Fugghetaboutit · 18/11/2015 15:58

Oh Cuppa hope all is well X

Tangoandcreditcards · 19/11/2015 06:26

Hope all ok cuppa

CuppaSarah · 19/11/2015 14:17

Thanks everyone, I think it should be ok. I should have heard back by now so the lack of response is probably a positive. Noticed my hands and feet are slightly swollen I hadn't noticed, but dh had pointed out yesterday morning I had to take my rings off.

So no news is probably good news, but I know from sil they tend to call everyone early evening with results so still a bit on edge. On the positive the totally unsuitable flats land lady has cancelled the viewing as the place is totally unsuitable. I don't know who she is but I love her!!

HopeItComesLate · 20/11/2015 02:43

Glad to hear about the house cuppa hope your results come back ok and quickly
quickly. Just put your feet up and relax as much as possible in the meantime
Not long now sherbert are you on mat leave? I can't remember
Thats amazing that you could see his hair Armani
Still not heard back about when the scan will be I know I was expecting a wait but I'm getting more worried as time goes on so will ring them Monday if still not heard anything as I know how things like to go missing or get forgotten in the nhs and they might not think it's important but I do :-/
Well everythings getting closer and I'm very excited / scared
Can't wait to hear the news of the first forum baby. Hopefully they will all behave and it will be yours sherbert

Tangoandcreditcards · 20/11/2015 06:20

Hope they get back to you today cuppa to allay your worries. And about your scan hope.

Waiting

Waiting

So much waiting.

Finished in the office yesterday, working from home today and popping into town for one meeting next week but I am pretty much DONE! Pyjamas ahoy for the next month!

CuppaSarah · 20/11/2015 11:13

I don't have pre-esclampsia!!! So flipping relieved about that! Thanks for the kind words everyone, I am feeling on top of the world right now!

Enjoy your last day today Tango!! Glad you get to work from home too, even better!

NoArmaniNoPunani · 20/11/2015 12:00

Excellent news cuppa :)

Is anyone drinking raspberry leaf tea?

CuppaSarah · 20/11/2015 12:24

I drank it last time from 37 weeks and I did progress quickly after a super long latent phase so maybe it works? Doesn't taste too great though, but I'm not a fruity tea fan.

I tried rose hip tea too but that was bloody awful! Couldn't even manage a cup of it. Maybe we should all choose a home induction technique and see who gives birth first! Dibs on reflexology Grin

Tangoandcreditcards · 20/11/2015 14:02

Yay cuppa - glad to hear it, it's easy to add up the symptoms when anything is slightly off. I've had really bad floaters throughout pregnancy, I think they were my first symptom, they're especially bad now, but I know they'll clear up.

No raspberry leaf tea or any such for me armani, with DS being a 3.5 hour labour all in, I think if anything my body needs a brake rather than any speeding up, they can do a lot of damage hurtling out at speed! Might feel differently in a few weeks when I'm bored out of my noodle, mind. And I'm not banking on it being the same, this time, but need to be ready if it is!

sherbertlemon17 · 20/11/2015 18:06

So glad you got the all clear Cuppa! Brilliant news! Also good news on the house front. Fingers crossed something suitable comes your way.

Armani I have raspberry leaf tea in the cupboard. It has been recommended by 2 midwives now so drank a cup a day for about a week, and since then, nothing. I just can't get on board with it... I'd rather drink normal tea!

Hope you enjoy your last few days Tango. PJ marathon sounds great!

Nope no mat leave for me yet Hope. 1 WEEK TO GO!!!! Grin I can't believe I'm term tomorrow and this baby could be here in 3 weeks. Crazy times!

We had our last scan today too and could see a proper little face! I'm so excited for them to be here now. Approximately 6lb 1oz at the moment.

CuppaSarah · 20/11/2015 18:18

Tango just one meeting and that's it you're done!! Congratulations! Bet it feels great to be free.

Could be less than 3 weeks too Sherbert....could be any day, your waters could even go at work and you'll become a legend among your colleagues. Bet the next week can't go quick enough!

I ended up buying the raspberry leaf tea today, no idea its meant to help shorten postpartum bleeding. Mine dragged a bit so I am so on board with it now.

Anyone predicted snow tonight? SNOOOOOW!!!!!!

HopeItComesLate · 24/11/2015 05:04

Finished work yesterday morning feels a bit scary now it's actually happened
hope everyones doing ok it's gone a bit quiet on here.
Glad to hear you got the all clear cuppa sorry about your symptoms though.
Got my scan on Wednesday and don't feel worried at all now that it's booked.
Lying in bed with heartburn waiting for a suitable time to get up and walk the dogs. Ha that's the problem with coming off nights hope it hasn't made the baby nocturnal.
Wow just think this time next month some of us will of had our babies already x

CuppaSarah · 25/11/2015 10:55

WE HAVE A HOME!!!!!!! The council found us a place we can afford, is suitable and its way under priced for the local market. It's super beautiful and amazing. We're going to have a home for our daughter and baby. So relieved and happy and just overwhelmed. Cannot wait for this weekend to get moved.

Grin didn't want to move house at 35 weeks but we have a lot of favours to call in so hopefully we can get it done without my lifting a finger. My new kitchen is GIANT!!!! EEEEEEEE

cth1982 · 25/11/2015 14:39

glad to hear such good news Cuppa - what a great early Christmas gift!

Last couple of days at work here - have a half day tomorrow as I have a Midwife appointment and half day on Friday as I had to use the last on my holiday - can't believe I'm 36 weeks on Friday!

Still without a bathroom (bar a toilet) so that's getting a bit boring now BUT this time next week should all be done and dusted.

A friend of mine is throwing me a baby shower on Sunday which is lovely - lots of tea and cake and chat with friends!

sherbertlemon17 · 25/11/2015 16:11

That's such good news Cuppa Grin Glad everything is working out for you.

Boo to the bathroom cth. At least it's nearly done now though. Have an amazing baby shower!

2 more days left at work now! Some of my students have been so cute and got me cards Smile They can be lovely when they want to be. Haha!

Is anyone else in slight denial that it's December next week?

HopeItComesLate · 25/11/2015 23:18

ahhh congratulations on your new home cuppa!!!!

Hope your bathrooms finished soon cth you've been doing that for a while now must feel like eternity. hope its finished soon.

Had my scan today babies fine measuring about 5lbs 8oz couldn't really see the baby but its good to know everythings healthy

Tangoandcreditcards · 26/11/2015 08:23

Congrats on your new home cuppa - so, so glad it all worked out!

Back in work this morning for one. more. day. (after a week off) then can totally switch off. Have to say, it doesn't feel like a week since I was last here, maybe time is starting to fly! (I really hope so) Quite glad I don't have to make too many more public appearances, even my maternity clothes aren't quite fitting any more!

The Tango family has a collective cold this week, which isn't helping with the sleeping and my lungs are all congested as I've clearly not got enough room to breathe properly... DS is a snot machine, which is charming. I'll add it to the ever-growing list of minor complaints.

Bring on December sherbert every morning we wake up is one restless night closer to D-Day! Grin

CuppaSarah · 26/11/2015 14:48

Thanks everyone! Got the keys today and have called in every favour and have a small army recruited to get us moved tomorrow. Cannot wait to get in my new non shared bath tomorrow night Grin

Tango I hope today went well and the snot infestation leaves your home asap. You are too pregnant to be dealing with colds and work!

Hope glad the scan went well, brilliant babh is doing well in there. Not long till.you see his little face now.

Sherbert you're so close to finishing yay! You've worked so far into your pregnancy you must be made of tough stuff. Tougher than me for sure! December is so near eeeee

Hopefully the bathroom will get sorted before very long, cth bat least you'll be home and able to get your feet up. If you were local I would say come use my NOT SHARED BATHROOM(hehehehheheeeeee) but maybe you'll have to settle for sneaking around friends houses and insisting on having a nice bath or shower.

Fugghetaboutit · 26/11/2015 17:25

Congrats cuppa lovely news for Xmas Flowers

Had my 34 week appt today but am 35 weeks really and bump is still measuring 32 weeks so have a growth scan booked for next week.

Baby is back to back now and head is very low - can hardly walk!

CuppaSarah · 27/11/2015 04:57

I think almost everyone here has needed a growth scan for having neat little bumps! I'm sure yours will be fine too fugg, do you think having dropped so low would throw off the measurements? Hopefully you'll be able to get a bit of a look at baby. I'm measuring a week ahead at the moment, but this baby seems to consistently be on the 75th percentile. Baby boys in dhs family are normally pretty big and there's no boys on my side to compare.

I got put on ranitidine this week, the difference is amazing. I fell asleep at 11ish and just woke up. I only needed one antacid all night!! Normally I would wake up every hour at least with killer heartburn. Anyone that's suffering I really reccomend getting to the gp because this stuff is just an absolute miracle cure. I only woke up at this silly hour because I was hungry.

Dh with a tiny bit of help from me packed half the flat up after DD went to bed, fingers crossed we finish the move today

Fugghetaboutit · 27/11/2015 05:18

Glad your heartburn is better, I've heard that stuff is great.

I think because they're using ds' measurements in comparison maybe that's why it seems smaller. She may just be a smaller baby as he was quite long and had a big head!
