Enjoy the new thread ladies. Have put a link to the spreadsheet here so always easy to find. (Sorry can't get the linking to work automatically).

Arg had our meeting with the council today about finding a permanent home. They basically made up the figures for our income so it looked way higher then refused to accept I'm having a baby and while dh is looking for work our income is obviously going to change, especially if he struggles to find anything. If my mental health goes to buggery again I won't be able to return to work for a little while which means we would be uttery fucked. We'll be hearing about a property we very clearly can't afford in a few weeks. If we refuse it the council will kick us out.

Oh and to make it even better, they expect us to be out before Christmas and if I have to move whilst due that's 'not a problem' well obviously not for them, but being in between homes and going into lablur is a big problem for me! Just want to crawl into a little hole today.

CuppaSarah · 09/11/2015 16:41

Sorry for the self pitying rant. Feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all today. On the plus side, we've worked out if we move back up north bear our in-laws we can afford a lovely 3 bedroom place comfortably on mat pay and I can transfer areas with work easy, so if my mental health is bad I won't be rushed back to work. So if I can't get an sense out the council we have a plan. My in-laws are super lovely too and the dc would be lucky to live near them.

cth1982 · 09/11/2015 16:45

sorry to hear the council have been playing silly buggers with you Cuppa - I hope it all turns out ok!

Tangoandcreditcards · 09/11/2015 16:57

Aw cuppa - it's all a bit "computer says no" isn't it? With no actual appreciation for people's real-life lives at the end of it. Sending Flowers and hope it comes together somehow.

I think up north sounds like not a bad plan though. Not purely for affordability, especially if you don't have to job hunt.

Take it easy x

CuppaSarah · 09/11/2015 17:09

It is all a bit cold. I do understand there's a big housing shortage and it's an expensive area. But the made up numbers really annoyed me. Going up north is probably going to be the solution, plus distance from family drama will be brilliant.

Sorry to be a downer. I'm feeling a bit better already to be honest, we'll stay here as long as we can in the hopes we can avoid moving while pregnant. But having a plan is good. We might even treat ourselves to removals people this time! Last pregnancy I moved down south, this time back up Grin

Tango you better send some of that cake this way, I need a sugar boost.

horseylady · 09/11/2015 21:23

I've been signed off work. Repeat bloods and several other tests.

Feel quite rubbish really. Hoping to be back in next week.

Scan and c section booking next week fingers crossed!

Tangoandcreditcards · 10/11/2015 09:56

Oh poor you horsey - I hope you are & bump are ok, rest easy! Hopefully nothing too serious. I'm excited for you to get your C section date though, it'll be good to have one little Chrimbo arrival confirmed!

cuppa - you're entitled to have a moan with your living situation up in the air with a baby on the horizon. And DEFINITELY get removal people when it comes to it, it's the best money I've ever spent - DP refused the last time we moved and it was a horror-show.

CuppaSarah · 10/11/2015 12:04

Horsey that sounds miserable, I hope you're feeling better really soon. Hopefully getting your csection date will give you something positive to focus on.

Tango last time we moved we did it ourselves, it was awful! Never doing that again.

Met another pregnant woman at toddler group today, I asked when she was due expecting Februaryish. No she's due that start of December! She was so neatly bumped and well dressed.

sherbertlemon17 · 10/11/2015 18:29

Ah Cuppa, rant away. That sounds shit! Definitely got the removal men in.

Horsey, hope you're feeling better soon. Flowers I'm excited for you to find out your c section date!

HopeItComesLate · 10/11/2015 22:20

Yay our first official date horseylady that's exciting. Hope you feel better soon.
Sorry about your housing situation cuppa moving back up north sounds like it will be for the best all round if the in laws are going to be helpful.
How's your health now sherbert guessing your off bedrest.? I think I've missed quite a bit on here probably due to baby brain Nothings sticking memory wasn't that good to start with haha x

CuppaSarah · 12/11/2015 06:33

Nothing like a bit of baby brain Hope! I keep putting stuff in the bin when I'm getting ready. Cartons of juice, my keys, spare pulls ups. It's a nightmare.

I'm in work today, for the team meeting. Not sure if I'm looking forward to it, or really can't be arsed! Last time we had a 2 hour driving course, which such gems as 'since the vans don't have rear windows, be careful when you reverse' Hmm doesn't help I didn't sleep much last night. I go from sleeping loads to not being able to sleep at all! How you working ladies are coming I don't know, you are all pretty bloody amazing!!!

cth1982 · 12/11/2015 11:46

Not coping much with work today Cuppa! I am sure they are trying to send me into early labor! Only 2 weeks left tomorrow...

roseformyrose · 12/11/2015 13:36

I'm not coping very well with work either! Also having trouble on the sleeping front now, so I start the week feeling all nice and rested and then by Thursday I'm on my knees.

Just had most of my pre-Christmas leave cancelled, so I'll be working right down to the wire. At least I won't be bored!

Good luck with all the contingency plans cuppa, hope you find the best solution for you and the family.

Tangoandcreditcards · 12/11/2015 16:08

Oh gosh rose - how awful. I can't believe I ever planned to work until xmas, or that I managed to go to 38 weeks last time!

I finish next Friday and it can't come soon enough. I'm WFH today (trying to cobble together a handover for my cover) and I'm just about holding it together. In fairness DS, who has spent the last fortnight sleeping through the night in an unprecedented way, decided he wanted to spend 1.30-4.30am up screaming, shouting and demanding stories to be read - so I'm REALLY knackered, plus my tummy skin is so stretched it feels like a big graze whenever i brush against anything (even my clothes). Still, it's creeping up on us, isn't it, I might even schedule in some time to get excited next week!

Totally there with the baby brain, last week I put some shirts of DPs in the fridge...

horsey - how's it going? Hope the bloods came back with good news.

Off to some sort of ante natal group at the local HV clinic now... they didn't do this at the last place i was and I shunned NCT so hoping it's useful or interesting. I'm such a tired grump today, I'm really not feeling the love for enforced socialising with other tired grumps! Grin

horseylady · 13/11/2015 07:09

Better. Iron low but everything else ok. Reflux Meds seems to be working of sorts. Will be back in work Monday. Max three weeks but I might bring my mat leave forward a week. Will see.

CuppaSarah · 13/11/2015 12:52

Sorry to hear everyone's struggling with work, rose that's really awful they rejected your leave.

Hope this picture can cheer you guys a bit! I keep telling myself this when I feel tired so I can justify resting.

NoArmaniNoPunani · 13/11/2015 18:23

Had my second growth scan today and all is ok.

Happy weekend everyone :)

HopeItComesLate · 13/11/2015 22:08

Glad everyones doing well other than at work but at least we're all nearly done now I suppose. I'm back at work tonight after 2 weeks off think it's going to be a struggle my patience is very low and backs killing just keep reminding myself only 2 weeks left. I didn't know they were aloud to cancel leave rose. What do you do? If it gets to hard you could always get signed off sick? X

sherbertlemon17 · 14/11/2015 12:49

Hey hope, feeling much better thanks. Not had any more bleeding for nearly 10 weeks now so hopefully all is OK.

Horsey glad to hear you're feeling better. This whole pregnancy lark just completely takes it out of you!

Sorry to hear that everyone's having such a shitty time at work. 2 weeks and counting for me. Rose I can't believe they cancelled your leave! Who would do that to a heavily pregnant woman??!

Yay Armani! So pleased for you Smile

CuppaSarah · 16/11/2015 17:40

Yay, brilliant news NoArmarni. Must be such a relief.

Sherbert, thrilled things have settled down for you as well. Will they still induce you early, or will you be left waiting for spontaneous labour?

Had the health visitor pre birth meeting today. I thought I was seeing the crap one, but I got a new one who was lovely. It was a lovely half hour in the end, nothings changed since DD was born except they seem to be pro baby sleeping bags in this area.

We also braved softplay this afternoon, while dh is home I thought we should. It was fab, apart from when DD insisted I take her into the sensory area for her last thing before we leave. Cheeky minx knew there was a bit my big belly meant I couldn't get to and she refused to leave! Thank God dh is a skinny bigger!

Fugghetaboutit · 17/11/2015 10:00

Hey everyone, lovely to read positive updates from you all.

We're nearly there!! I'm having lots of BHs - 2/3 a day. Baby is growing well according to measurements but no scan since 20 weeks which is a shame.

Can't believe in a couple of weeks it'll be December.

Has everyone got cribs up and bags packed yet? I've done neither burn have washed all clothes and set up changing drawers.

HopeItComesLate · 17/11/2015 16:16

went to midwife today and she wants me to do a growth scan as babies growths slowed down but apparently it could take a week for them to even contact me with a date which leads me to believe they aren't too worried but I'de rather know what's going on a lot sooner than that :/ its always nice to see the baby though I didn't think think I'de get to until Christmas now.

sherbertlemon17 · 17/11/2015 18:04

Ah Hope, rubbish about growth but lovely to get to see buba again! I've got another scan on Friday and I'm so excited Grin All our other cardiac scans have just been focused on the heart. They don't even show you baby's face.

Good work on getting all your washing done Fugg! That's on my list of things to do this weekend. My bags all packed though. Just got to do baby's when everything's washed.

Thanks Cuppa. Nope, no more talk of early induction. I'm quite glad about that really.

Tangoandcreditcards · 18/11/2015 08:31

sherbert you must be getting really close to term now? Aren't you due first on this thread? Will that be your last scan?

hope - I think the fundal height measurements are a pretty broad indicator, good that they check in, but I think you are right that it's covering all the bases, and nice to get a look - although I had a 32 week placenta check and didn't get to see v much. (a nice glimpse of little baby feet!)

fugg I had lots of evening BH last week, but they seem to have stopped this week, I'm not complaining!

Have done no baby prep, am deep into my last week at work, really just hanging on by my fingernails. I'll get at doing my 'home list' from next week, once I've done some major sleeping and rinsed work worries out of my hair.

Hope you're feeling better this week horsey and glad your scan all good armani

NoArmaniNoPunani · 18/11/2015 08:41

Hope: don't worry that's exactly what happened to me. They made me worry even more by getting me in for a scan the next day. Had another two weeks later and the boy is fine. We could even see the hair on his head!

I've got quite a tummy ache today. Baby is moving loads so I'm not worried about him, just feel crap.
