Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Yay la finally waters gone! Not long now hopefully :)

I'm a no knickers or pj's at night kinda gal. I like the freedom (but not the cats attempt at getting under the covers with me).

I'm mega bloated today. Also I think everyone in work knows now. That's what happens when you work in the same department and office and your OH. Random people keep saying congrats. Yay....

LaLaLaaaa · 27/07/2015 12:07

Would - we are always here if you need us! Grin

Yes contractions are here and fucking painful. I've got til 1 to get them up to speed to avoid the drip. We've just power walked round hospital eating Maccy Ds

MrsTattoo · 27/07/2015 12:19

La it's meant to be!
I have just put comedy central on and its the episode of Friends with Rach having her baby, with loads of women going in before her! Grin

goodnessgraciousgouda · 27/07/2015 12:37

looking - I had period like cramping, followed by heavy bleeding - red blood - at 10 weeks, which lasted a good few hours. Turned out I had a haematoma and the baby was okay, but the dr's said it meant an increased risk of mc and put me on bed and pelvic rest. I spotted/bled brown, black and very dark red blood and clots for the next month or so, and six weeks later at my last scan, they said it had almost entirely disappeared and seemed much happier about it.

Haematoma's are pretty rare, but are well known about (amongst dr's anyway).

If your bleeding was just spotting, then I honestly wouldn't be worried unless it ramps up in output or pain, or you have an incompatible rhesus factor. You can get it checked out for peace of mind, but spotting is really common, especially in first tri.

CountryGal4 · 27/07/2015 12:40

I'm hungry for the first time in almost a week. Quuuuuick! I've just
Jammed fish fingers in the oven!!!

Indigoblue2 · 27/07/2015 12:41

I actually had no idea anyone ever wore knickers in bed. Do you put clean ones on before bed? As in, go through two pairs of pants a day?

Thanks for the breathing advice ladies, I think the basic breath is going to be the one for me, when I do my natal hypnotherapy any fancier breathing makes me concentrate too hard.

la hurry up and pop that sprog so I can get to the top of the list GrinGrin

Can I ask how people are getting on with their weight? Especially people in their second trimester. Mine seems to be fluctuating by quite a lot which I am finding odd. Normally my weight is very consistent (or at least the scales are consistent in what they tell me!)

I'm 16 weeks, and last week I had gained 3.5kg (7lbs in old money) from my pre preg weight. This week I've been consistently weighing at only 2.2kg (4ish lbs) up from my pre preg weight.

Could this be due to gas/constipation etc clearing up? I have started doing very light sport, but absolutely nothing which would explain losing 1.5kg in a week.

The same thing happened in the first trimester now I think about it. I went up by 2.5kg within a matter of weeks, and then dropped half of that a few weeks later with no discernible cause.

Purpleball · 27/07/2015 13:00

Gouda mine has gone up and down throughout. I'm currently 2lbs heavier than start weight at almost 32 weeks but I was a few stone overweight to start with and I'm no longer drinking 3-4 bottles of wine a week Smile
There's a tool on baby centre that says what you should gain based on pre-pregnancy height/weight

I think average is about 2 stones for a normal sized person

La hope the maccy ds helped and things are moving for you.

Need to read back and reply later

Country I'm ensuring that the universe maintains its equilibrium by balancing your low appetite with my continual ravenous hunger. Had two large and rather thick slices of fresh bloomer bread with a thick spread of Philadelphia and tomatoes for breakfast had run out of shreddies and now just polished off double cheeseburger two and fries and a large milk shake Blush

CountryGal4 · 27/07/2015 13:06

Well I'm balancing out myself now. I don't know when might feel hungry again so I'm eating fish fingers and frys!!!

CountryGal4 · 27/07/2015 13:07

tea you're my hero!! Grin

jellypi3 · 27/07/2015 13:12

blimey yea that's amazing. I always feel my appetite is massive but then I go to eat and can't manage half my meal!

jellypi3 · 27/07/2015 13:12

Ok meant to say blimey tea, fail there

CountryGal4 · 27/07/2015 13:16

I'm so full I feel like I've just eaten three Christmas dinners

Nessalina · 27/07/2015 13:17

I'm definitely no knickers in bed (unless the witch is in town) - breathing space needed! Used to wear PJs, but since being preggers I've discovered the joys of enormous old lady nighties Grin

CarrotPuff · 27/07/2015 13:19

You retain a lot more water when pg so I think weight fluctuations are largely due to that.

Pjs w/o pants here. When else foof (phone kept trying to change to "food" or "good" Grin ) would get a bit of freedom?? I also always shower before bed, for me it's weird to go to clean bed not being all clean and fresh...

WouldRatherHaveCake · 27/07/2015 13:28

gouda I went up and down last time too, by the end of the second tri I had gained 7lb in total, but from about 30w I gained another 7lb.

lildottie · 27/07/2015 13:55

glad I'm not the only clean person knicker wearer! and yes, shower before bed always. and yes of Course a clean pair for bed so 2 pairs a day. u lot are gross Grin
though tbf if I'm not wearing pjs I sometimes ditch the knickers. so those who wear pjs and no knickers, how many pairs a week do you go through?

lildottie · 27/07/2015 13:56

hit send too soon

la gx things start moving !

CarrotPuff · 27/07/2015 14:08

Well I don't really leak anything during the night. Even when on period my overnight pad stays clean 6 days out of 7. Don't know why, maybe I have a self sealing vagina or something? So pjs do stay clean for quite a while...

goodnessgraciousgouda · 27/07/2015 14:08

Glad to see it's not just me on the weight fluctuation front. I was hoping I would have a more discernible bump by now, but frankly I don't think my body has really changed much at all in the last 6-8 weeks. I was huge at the beginning from bloat, and now it's uterus not bloat, but still like a gut rather than a bump. Any weight I put on seem to be directly converted into cellulite on my legs. THANKS NATURE.

Wishing I had forced DH to take bump pictures from the beginning so I could look back at any changes. I think I will put my foot down later and demand we start!

Lookingforadvice123 · 27/07/2015 14:21

gouda it was would who's had spotting recently not me, although I also had it at nearly 9 and 16 weeks! Had a scan both times and all fine Smile I remember when you had your hematoma, hope it's gone/shrunk now?

gouda again on the weight gain, I stopped weighing a few weeks ago as it was just depressing me! By 13 weeks I'd put on 7 lbs, but I have been eating so much it's ridiculous, especially in the 1st tri. It may not have been a full 7 lbs to be honest as pre-preg I would only ever weigh on a Friday morning after eating healthily all week, so I would never weigh on a Monday morning after having treats on the weekend! So it was 7 lbs from my "skinny" weight, whereas when I weighed at 13 weeks id been eating so much for the past few days!

Indigoblue2 · 27/07/2015 14:21

La hasn't been on for over two hours now Blush

Niffertiti · 27/07/2015 14:24

Gouda my French colleague (currently pg in UK) tells me in France they are obsessed by correct weight gain in pregnancy, practically down to grams, whereas in the UK the NHS basically treats it as par for the course between certain broad parameters. I've been weighed once during 16 weeks at booking appt. I was a bit fatter than normal! Back to mw tomorrow so we'll see what the verdict is - I never weigh myself. But certainly I reckon constipation has made a huge difference to my weight at various points!

Purpleball · 27/07/2015 14:25

I wear knickers or pj bottoms depending on the weather and change both daily. Never wear them both at the same time though
