Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

La you're doing amazingly. Fingers crossed the next one gets it all going.

Country start with the pelvic floor exercises now to avoid peeing yourself later. It really does make a difference!

I'm also a knickers in bed person.

I feel so sick. I was going to take dd to a toddler group this morning but I don't want to leave the house. The nausea is less bad if i sit still. Now i just need to find where i hid the craft box so we don't just watch tv all day Blush

WouldRatherHaveCake · 27/07/2015 09:58

la you are bloody amazing! Good luck for today.

Called midwife, scan tomorrow at 11.30!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 27/07/2015 09:59

totally can you find a midway and watch crafts on tv? Grin
Those of you who both work from home. This is something DH and I want to consider next year. Either that or I have to go back to work full-time too. Hmm When you made the move to both working from home did one or both of you have to "change" careers? Was it easy or simple, or hard and complicated? Do you find that one of you more often than not do more housework or childminding stuff than the other one? And do you have set routines for who does what or who works when, or take it as it comes on the day?

ThursdayLast · 27/07/2015 10:00

That sounds like an excellent plan La though you may find yourself surprised at how little you can get done when you have a small child! I was going to help DH work from home, but we just never had the time for him to teach me. Babies somehow take up a lot of it Confused

Bathroom clean - check
Fresh bedding - check
Bins out - check
Last nights washing up - check

Now I need a sit down!

Yay would! Excellent!

RhiannonElward · 27/07/2015 10:00

Totally I stocked upon activity books for my two. We have no transport and no money to do anything for a few days so I'm going to get my kids to practice their writing so I feel like they are at least learning something. If it would just stop raining at least I could take them to the park Sad

Lookingforadvice123 · 27/07/2015 10:04

O M G 8 pages on the new thread already!

Just popped on to see how you're doing la, bless you I hope it gets going now at the next stage. Is this the most eagerly anticipated baby ever? Please don't feel like you're hogging the thread the love updates are great!!!

Lookingforadvice123 · 27/07/2015 10:08

would saw your post about the blood when wiping, how many weeks are you?

I had (what turned out to be only spotting - phew) at almost 9 weeks and again at 16 weeks, first time it happened it was red when I wiped but after that was brown and always v light, freaked out though as you can imagine! But all was fine and the scan showed that it wasn't coming from the baby's area, so must be hormonal from the cervix. When it happened again at 16 weeks the GP wasn't even worried as I had no other pain etc and said its very, very common. Wish more people would talk about it tbh! So if you've had no more since, or only very light (mine was v light, brown and lasted on and off for 2 days both times) I bet that's all it is! Best of luck x

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 27/07/2015 10:18

auf we already had skills that could be adapted to working from home. We tend to do different jobs on the same project and take turns working and doing housework etc. Although lately I'm not doing much of either! Our kids are in school so that helps. Before they were in school they did half days at Montessori so we worked around those hours plus naps and evenings once they were asleep. You have to be really strict with yourself to get the work done, which sometimes means letting the children watch telly while you finish a report etc. I guess the biggest thing is that we never are really off duty with work or the kids... I took my first holiday in two years this month and it was almost a shock to the system. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I hate commuting.

SecondCupOfTea · 27/07/2015 10:20

Chin up La or is it meant to be down? I'm impressed by your stamina and stoic outlook I'd be a snivelling message by this point

I most definitely a no knickers in bed girl. No pj's for that matter either. In fact I wear nothing, except for a serene smile currently replaced by fart grimace

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 27/07/2015 10:21

Glad you're getting a scan would just to put your mind at rest. I also had bleeding in and off through the first trimester last time, everything was fine and is apparently pretty common so not necessarily a reason to worry.

auf unfortunately i think that might still be guilt inducing. I've found the box so we're threading cut up straws onto pipe cleaners. I'm sure we'll be watching dumbo later though.

Thursday that's very productive. I have a load of washing on and did the washing up, that's quite enough for me at the moment! I MUST hoover later, at least downstairs. I need to build myself up to it though!

RPopz · 27/07/2015 10:24

No knickers! Fanoires need to breathe!!

How do you feel about a section La? Good to have it as an option.

ThursdayLast · 27/07/2015 10:29

I have to go with my housework flow as it hits Totally, I can easily talk myself out of it! But the bath was still a bit yellow from DS rainbow toddle!

I wear knickers in bed, but no pjs, just a top. DH thinks this house is cold sometimes, but compared to the house I grew up in its positively balmy all year round

Snivelling message is actually my code phrase typo for snivelling wreck Hmm

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 27/07/2015 11:00

sky thanks for the useful reply. I can see how once the kids are in school it's a bit easier. Hmm-mm. I'm no good at being strict with myself. I always feel guilty.

LaLaLaaaa · 27/07/2015 11:04

Thanks for the support folks! They've just broken my waters - HOORAY!!!!!!

On monitor and Mr La has gone to get us a Maccy Ds. Sweeet!

Thursday I forgot to say my mums moving back up to live with us and help run business so we would do business/childcare between us. No way would I try to do it with looking after wee ones too, nightmare! She isn't enjoying being retired and wants to be close to grandchildren. We are going to run a boarding business from home together Grin. My colleague 'wfh' one day a week with a toddler and gets absolutely nothing done! Her wee girl is always screaming whenever you phone her to discuss something on those days

Sky - thank you! We definitely will be asking advice, I know the technical side of things but we are taking advice on the loan side of things and set up.

Sorry for the sicky viroids - not fun!

Would - good that they're scanning you, Gx

oneyorkshirepud · 27/07/2015 11:09

God this is considerably more exciting than the royal births. Viroids I reckon we should go and camp outside La's hospital and wave flags with pictures of fanjo on them. Bring snacks.

oneyorkshirepud · 27/07/2015 11:11

Ooh cross post, yey for waters being broken and Maccy Ds

Waves fanny flag like a mentalist

LaLaLaaaa · 27/07/2015 11:12

Do it! Can you bring cupcakes too please?

WouldRatherHaveCake · 27/07/2015 11:13

Yay for waters breaking! Are you getting any contractions yet? This is all very exciting Grin

Thanks for the support all, feel a bit of a prat for being away for so long, you viroids are lovely (still makes me snigger when my phone tries to change that to "virgins")

looking yes it was light, nothing heavy but had mild cramping. Midwife thinks all is fine but wants me to have a scan for reassurance which is lovely of her.

MrsTattoo · 27/07/2015 11:14

So exciting La! Glad things are finally moving along. Enjoy your maccys Grin

I'm in the no knickers group too.
The men folk can steal space in our beds but they will never take our freeeeedom!

WouldRatherHaveCake · 27/07/2015 11:14

Fanny flag! Love it

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 27/07/2015 11:16

Oh brilliant la! Broken waters! like Muddy Waters, only different

ZylaB · 27/07/2015 11:18

Purpleball · 27/07/2015 11:37

MS has hit me today and I've had to lie down Sad

Anyone else feel like their gonna belch and then sneeze instead - it's caught me out a few times
