Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

So nice to hear from you La, glad to hear you are home and settling in well. Star for MrLa! Well done on bfing, it took me over 3 months to start liking it Shock

Ewww Ga, good I haven't had breakfast yet!

DS woke up before 5 today. Took me 2 attempts to get him to sleep till 6. Also woke up with a weird pain on my right, just where the ribs are. Feels as if I was sleeping on ping pong ball. Not too sore but v uncomfortable Confused

I have bad news Sad
I had my private early pregnancy scan yesterday at 7+4 but they couldn't find a heartbeat. Baby measured 7+2 so there's a small chance they just missed the heart beat, otherwise it stopped in the last few days. We went to a&e after the scan and i saw gynae but being a Sunday there was no one who could scan. But I'm in the system, they took bloods for hcg and I should hear from epu today to arrange a scan. I haven't had any indication anything is wrong, and i still feel really sick. I'm not sure where to be right now.

honeysucklejasmine · 03/08/2015 07:26

I tend to wake up about 3. For about half an hour at least, before I can drift off.

Right. I am snotty. What can I do about it? Guessing I can't just grab a sudafed and be done with it.

honeysucklejasmine · 03/08/2015 07:27

Totally Flowers How worrying! I've got my gx that they'll find it today. It's very small, hopefully baby was in the wrong position or just bring difficult.

CarrotPuff · 03/08/2015 07:30

Oh no Totally how worrying! I'm keeping all my g x they just missed it somehow... Flowers

jellypi3 · 03/08/2015 07:43

totally sorry to hear that :( gx it's all ok x

honey if my 4 week cold has taught me anything, it's that being pregnant is an excuse for companies to make you suffer. Basically honey and lemon and paracetamol are your only options.

Purpleball · 03/08/2015 08:15

Gx Totally, hope they find it today, how worrying

SecondCupOfTea · 03/08/2015 08:18

Oh no Totally you must feel in an awful state of limbo right now. Gx for you, let us know how you get on.

CarrotPuff · 03/08/2015 08:19

jelly it depends what do you mean by "major" things. You'll probably be fine but in case baby arrives early you would need to have something for it to sleep in (i.e. Moses basket) and a car seat.

ThursdayLast · 03/08/2015 08:21

Oh Totally that IS a weird limbo to be in. I hope they can see you soon.

Totally I hope you get some answers soon. Gx for positive news.

DS has his dad's surname. He has my surname as a first name. We had intended to get married. It's not really been an issue having different names except when he was about five he was taken aside in the airport and asked if he knew who I was because of our passports Hmm BabyPis has her dad's surname and my surname as a middle name. DP happens to have my surname as a first name too. So we do all at least share one name albeit not in a conventional way!

Ga that pisses me off. When I bought my house last year we had some early problems because the estate agent gave DP's details to the seller's solicitor. What was really galling was that they'd only dealt with me and to date we still have no idea how they even got his name!

oneyorkshirepud · 03/08/2015 08:32

Flowers for you Totally, we are all here to handhold.

jellypi3 · 03/08/2015 08:36

carrot a friend of mine has offered a car seat, so won't need one of those. I've also been offered a Moses Basket, and was going to buy a snuzpod for the bedroom.

Mainly it's cot/nursery furniture. A part of me (the money saving part) wants to wait until it's cheap, but another part of me kind of wants the nursery to be complete for when bubba arrives!

CarrotPuff · 03/08/2015 09:08

I would definitely wait then.

goodnessgraciousgouda · 03/08/2015 09:20

So sorry Totally We are all keeping our fingers crossed for you. It's truly awful to be in limbo.

We never heard back from 5hell either :(

Glad to hear that you are doing well la and that Mr La is pulling his weight!

LaLaLaaaa · 03/08/2015 09:22

:( totally gx for you. 7.5 is very early still though so it could be the hb was just too tiny. I'll be thinking about you.

I felt quite smug having done a good feed at 4am with no drama, changed nappy with no screaming, back into bed where I gave him a tiny bit more just to make him sleepy again. He proceeds to vomit boob milk all down me, all over bed. It went in my bra, my pants, over pillows. First experience of breast milk in my foof

LaLaLaaaa · 03/08/2015 09:24

Jelly I agree with the others - start with somewhere for baby to sleep, buggy and car seat. Rest can be slotted in

RPopz · 03/08/2015 09:26

Thanks Totally xxx

WouldRatherHaveCake · 03/08/2015 09:40

Hope all goes well totally, fingers crossed for you. Hopefully we will hear back from 5hell too.

Good to hear from you la! Foof vom and all!

Has anyone ever rented a bednest?

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 03/08/2015 10:06

Thanks guys. I know lots of you have been through mc, I appreciate the thoughts.

la I'm so glad things are going well Grin

Lookingforadvice123 · 03/08/2015 10:08

Sorry about your worrying situation totally. If they're still none the wiser after your bloods, your only a few days away from being 8 weeks by which point you can definitely detect a heartbeat (I know a private scan place I went to said you have to be 8 weeks so they can find the heartbeat) so you could go again once you're 8 weeks? Everything crossed.

I've been having a horrendously anxious few days, on top of my usual worries baby's movements have significantly decreased over the last 30ish hours (since Saturday morning really). I know I'm only 18+2 but have felt the little pops/twitches since around 15 weeks, very sporadic at first but the last few days leading up to the weekend he's been on the move a lot, especially Friday! Then Saturday I had barely anything, and yesterday he only moved a couple of times and the movements are definitely a lot lighter than before. Should I be worried really? Or honestly does he still have so much room in there it's not a surprise that this happens every now and then? I don't want to ring the maternal assessment unit as I know they'll just say it's very early anyway, but would like to know if I'm worrying over nothing?

oneyorkshirepud · 03/08/2015 10:13

Looking at this stage I think it is expected that there is no 'pattern' to the babies movements as they still have plenty of room to hide. But if you are worried call your midwife for reassurance. When is your next mw appointment?

CarrotPuff · 03/08/2015 10:14

The baby could have turned inwards and is kicking inside you rather than outside so you can't feel it as much. Some mums don't feel any movement at all at 18w yet. I wouldn't worry at such an early stage, easier said than done though!

oneyorkshirepud · 03/08/2015 10:30

Sometimes I can tell that the baby is moving but can't actually feel it if that makes sense?!

Lookingforadvice123 · 03/08/2015 10:34

Ye I really don't WANT to worry. As I know plenty of people don't even feel it until much later. I think I'm worried because on Friday he was moving LOADS, so you sort of expect them to increase not decrease.

My midwife only works on Wednesdays pud Hmm and tbh at my 16 week appointment you could tell she didn't believe that Id even felt it! My scan is 2 weeks today, next midwife appt won't be for weeks though (is it 24 weeks they see you again?).
