Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 34th grads fred is here

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Evening all, just in from preggo yoga. The relaxing section at the end is not that relaxing when you try and hold in a trump and it sort of reverberates back up your bum. Loudly. Just as FYI.

Sorry to hear about slightly flat scan feelings but totally understandable, it is just a blob! Agree with others, 12 and 20 weeks much more exciting!

deeplybaffled · 30/07/2015 21:52

30 weeks, ga ? Felt like a real milestone to me, more than any other date for me for some . think i had it in my head that the baby could quite probably arrive at 30 something weeks.

35 weeks today here, and finish for maternity leave tomorrow, which I really can't get my head round. Think I'm in denial that I'm really having a baby and after tomorrow, it's going to feel a lot more real....!

gaggiagirl · 30/07/2015 21:59

deeply ooh maternity leave!! Yay that's brilliant I bet your ready for it. Enjoy yourself preparing for the new baby. My mat leave starts the end of September I think.

oneyorkshirepud · 30/07/2015 22:06

JC I get those after (ahem) quality time with DH. It is weird but seems to be okay. I think braxton hicks can just happen sporadically though.

Yey for maternity leave deeply!!!

Purpleball · 30/07/2015 22:26

I've had Brixton hicks a couple of times where my bump has kinda gone into spasm. It's very weird!

Definitely double drizzle JC Smile

I felt movements about 17 weeks but it was about 28 when they were felt outside. Now it's all the time Smile I'm going to miss it when he's born

Purpleball · 30/07/2015 22:28

Oooh maternity leave Deeply, you lucky thing
I've got another 2 weeks so not too much longer.

Also worked out when I go back next year I'll have a full year holiday entitlement plus the bank holidays from while I was off. So potentially I could take a month of holiday on part time days and use half the year entitlement and go back a month later SmileSmileSmileSmile

Jcandy · 30/07/2015 22:32

Braxton hicks? Really? Didn't think I'd get them this early but Ok Smile

Ooo double drizzle now that's a good idea!

Jcandy · 30/07/2015 22:33

It's going to feel so weird for you tomorrow deeply but I bet it feels even stranger on monday when you don't have to go to work!

honeysucklejasmine · 30/07/2015 22:37

Cake and maternity leave! These are the reasons we have babies! Grin

deeplybaffled · 30/07/2015 23:00

Yes, think it will be very odd. Been working for same company for nearly 14 years now, so a big change. But liking the idea of cake!
not sure how long i will be off for - at least 7 months, and after that is a bit open ended, money depending....which makes it even odder. Was clearing out some personal stuff from my desk today and just thinking eek...!Shock

gaggiagirl · 31/07/2015 06:57

Jc Braxton hicks start from as early as 6 weeks. Some times you can have them and not know. Expect them to ramp up towards the end.
purple I hadn't re filled my desk with personal shite from my last maternity leave so I'll be good to go.
Happy last day deeply

Niffertiti · 31/07/2015 07:14

Gaggia I'm round your way this w/e for the christening of my bff's youngest. I'm godmother. Hoping I manage to hide my atheism.

I think I might be beginning to feel microniff wiggling but not really sure. It feels like popcorn in my belly but possibly it's not low down enough, given where I know the baby is from the heartbeat. It freaks me out tbh! You mean there's an actual live thing in there?!Blush

jellypi3 · 31/07/2015 07:36

Wow deeply mat leave! How exciting! The countdown is on!

I can't believe you're 30 weeks ga, not that you are on mat leave in 2 weeks purple! It's going so quick!

ind how are you feeling?

Thanks for the movement info. I know I won't feel them for some time but just wondered when everyone did. It's really interesting! It's probably the thing I'm looking forward to the most about the pg :)

Lots of people in work have asked me when I'm finishing, I've no idea! Seems so far away lol.

ThursdayLast · 31/07/2015 07:39

Oh blimey niff you're brave - an atheist god mother! Loving all this talk of feeling movement, it's lush isn't it? It's nice when DH can feel it too, but I kind of like when it's just you and the babe too.

Survived my busy day yesterday and slept like the dead.
Today my friend and I are going to the Eden project with the toddlers - they have these crazy good live animatronic dinosaurs just wandering around I'm really looking forward to it!

Happy last day deeply! I didn't much like my job by the time left so it was a great day for me!

30 weeks ga, them there's the big numbers... Grin

Niffertiti · 31/07/2015 07:44

Tbh Thursday I'm certain my bff is an atheist too so I don't think I'll be held too much to account on the religion side of it. I think it's more for family/community reasons. Not sure I agree but...

Deeply exciting about mat leave! I can't wait for mine! Grin

mountaingirl01 · 31/07/2015 07:49

Oh my I am jealous deeply! I have another 4 weeks to go .. Wahhh! Going to be full term by my last shift!

Embarrassing moment yesterday viroids, I was presenting to a room of consultants, got up and had what was possibly a swamp fanjo overload ...probably a 'gaggia moment' Blush thankfully I was wearing a liner and very black trousers (can you imagine if I was in scrubs?!!) not a good start to a presentation! ...don't think anyone noticed ...

jellypi3 · 31/07/2015 08:02

Oh dear mountain at least you were prepared for it!

RhiannonElward · 31/07/2015 08:20

congratulations on your 30 week milestone Ga I've been counting the days til I get there, it feels like the home straight from then on Grin I only have until Monday to go but it seems to be dragging this week.

Mat leave is excellent Deeply, enjoy the rest and spend your days doing nice things or just sitting on your arse, whatever does it for you Smile

gaggiagirl · 31/07/2015 08:28

mountain ooh are you sure it was only swamp fanjo and not something more exciting like waters? Are you 37 weeks next week? That be full term that Wink
niff ooh where abouts, I'll wave at you. That popcorn feeling you describe is an excellent way to put it. That will be baby wriggling.
My wriggler sticks its bum out quite often and makes bump a weird shape. I love patting its little tiny bot awwwww little baby

gaggiagirl · 31/07/2015 08:30

rhi eek not long now! I think you will pop early. This is based on nothing Grin I bet you're so excited for your vbac.

Purpleball · 31/07/2015 08:36

I'm an atheist godmother to my BFFs children. I had to go to classes at the fecking church and watch a video. They know I love them, and I'm always there for them. Just don't make me go to church!

12 days left to work, not that I'm counting!

Purpleball · 31/07/2015 08:37

Eek mountain, might be time to upgrade to tenalady?
Ga will know where to buy them GrinGrinGrin
sorry Ga

batfish · 31/07/2015 08:46

Haha ga I also had a lump of baby poking out where the doc reckons its bum is and imagined its little bottom, cute! Happy 30 weeks!

deeply happy mat leave! 8 weeks away for me, eeeekk!

Well I managed not to have a baby in the Seychelles, woohoo! No random pain or almost fainting episodes today and our flight home is in 3 hours so fingers crossed Smile

RhiannonElward · 31/07/2015 08:52

Ga I am excited for my vbac, but I am still half expecting it all to go tits up at the last minute. I don't have much luck with pregnancies, but I get lovely babies at the end so that's alright.

I won't be long behind in the Tena Lady queue, damn near pissed in the bath this morning when my little man was having a poo Grin Shock . Just made it this time, but in another month or two? I'm fucked aren't I?

Niffertiti · 31/07/2015 08:56

Bat glad you're feeling ok, hopefully it was just heat and nerve pain. Sounds like you've had a lovely break, good final fling to independent life. I think I'm going to miss it hugely, I massively value my freedom to just fuck off on my own for some time, but I hope the rewards will compensate, in a different way.

honey classes at church? I wasn't told about that Shock!

ga I'll be near consett, I think you're in that general area aren't you? I always hear my bff's accent when I read your posts anyway! Do wave at me, but I'll probably spot you anyway what with the size of you runs and takes cover Wink

I wonder if what I can feel is the baby then? It feels a bit too far away, more around the sides than in the middle. Where did others feel movement first? I'm 17 weeks today.

Viroids don't try to move continents whilst pregnant. It's so fucking stressful.
