Hi! Anyone else around yet who's expecting in April 2016? I've searched Mumsnet but can't find a thread- apologies if I've missed it. Just got my BFP today due date would be 2nd April (so the NHS website tells me). Would be great to have company on this journey!!

Hi mascaraisamust Sorry to hear that- hope all is ok. Some EPAUs are still open. My local hospital is closed till Tuesday but the nurse said she'll be at another one nearby tomorrow so I'm going there to have my blood taken x

Thanks all. I'll see what the doctor says and if I don't get anywhere I think there is an epu about 20 miles from here open on a weekend so I'll give them a ring tomorrow morning. My local EPU is only mon to friday

Oh mascara, how worrying. I hope the out of hours gp cab refer you on to EPU to get checked so you dont spend the whole weekend worrying x

I know... I'm supposed to have the midwife mon and my early scan Thurs too. Appointments not for another hour yet.

Can you bring the early scan forward? The place I went for mine did Sat appointments so you might find somewhere that does, if EPU isn't an option?

sophia good luck for tomorrow, I'm so glad your mum is going with you, hopefully you'll get some clarity on what is going on.

Great news about your scan della

mascara if you don't get any joy with an EPU, is there an urgent care centre at any of your local hospitals? They can get you seen by the on call gynae registrar or consultant who will do an examination and scan.

Sophia I'm so so sorry to hear your having a hard time. I'm keeping everything crossed that your blood levels have at least doubled tom.

Thinking of u too Mascara. I hope u get some answers at your appointment. I can only imagine how worrying the spotting is.

[I started what seems like my period yesterday and my hcg levels have gone down from 280 to 216 so they think I'm miscarrying but have to get my bloods checked again on Tuesday. Right faff as I don't drive and my mum - bless her - is having to ferry me around]

So sorry to read your updates Sophia and mascara. Thinking of you and hope you are able to keep trying. Nearly all of my friends have had fertility issues and multiple miscarriages and still births. It isn't easy and my friends who have coped better have sought help for processing their emotions.
