Hi! Anyone else around yet who's expecting in April 2016? I've searched Mumsnet but can't find a thread- apologies if I've missed it. Just got my BFP today due date would be 2nd April (so the NHS website tells me). Would be great to have company on this journey!!

Hi everyone

I'll update the stats list when I can copy & paste- on my phone at the moment.

My only symptom at the moment it that I'm so exhausted, I can barely keep my eyes open! I'm trying to relax this weekend too, though that's not easy with a 2 year old!!

Does anyone have a link to a website that tells you how much caffeine is in high street coffees (Pret, Costa, Starbucks etc)? I've really looked but can't find one anywhere and I really need to keep an eye on my caffeine intake!

Checking in from holiday!

Welcome Boymumma! Nice to see our numbers steadily growing

How are you doing Bejeena? FX you get your BFP soon!

Thanks for the stats Issie, I'm 31 too

Had a quick look and stumbled across this site. www.caffeineinformer.com/caffeine-content/costa-coffee

There are links for Nero and Starbucks too if you scroll down the page a bit. I really need to think about it more this time round. I wasn't a big coffee drinker before I had DD, but that's all changed now.

Hope you're all having lovely weekends. We've managed to avoid telling DH's family so far. I've got a stinking cold which is a good excuse for not drinking so I do think think they've sussed me out yet. Whether I can pull it off for 2 weeks remains to be seen!

Drheb · 26/07/2015 07:09

Hi everyone
I ordered a few books on pregnancy yesterday to try and get my head around this a bit more! And I told my friend when we were out cycling, because I trust her not to tell anyone else and I got great advice and support from her. Only feeling a bit tired so far and sore nipples, but apart from that pretty good.
Hope everyone's weekend is going well

Hi everyone.. Pregnant with dc2 after having a mmc in April this year. Due date of 4th April 2016 Smile

Issie339 · 26/07/2015 16:23

Wow thanks fussy that's great! Made me laugh that having your DD has driven you to caffeine- sounds about right! Grin

Drheb I haven't got any books yet but have downloaded an app that I'm loving so far, apparently the baby is currently the size of a poppyseed Smile

Congratulations megan!!

So .... I think I'm joining you.

Not sure on dates though, I think due date around 6th April according to doing a quick due date calculator.

I've had three positive tests using three different brands but the lines are quite pale and I can't get too excited as I've had two miscarriages before. I was due to start fertility treatment in a few weeks time!

I have a two, almost three year old already.

I've not had any symptoms at all yet which is odd as with my three previous pregnancies I had quite a few already at this stage. However as two of those only got to 8 weeks, I'm not taking that as necessarily a bad sign!

Newbiehome · 26/07/2015 17:21

I think I have the same app Issie! Hubby currently asking me how our poppy seed is doing!! Got sore boobs atm and shattered but otherwise feel fine. Had a spa day with my sis which has been super!

Issie339 · 26/07/2015 18:47

Sorry you've been through your miscarriages salty but congrats on the BFP and hoping you have a healthy 9 months.

I have the Pregnancy+ app newbie

Thanks Issie. I still don't feel pregnant and the lines were so faint that it makes me think I'm imagining it (DH could see them too).

Have emailed my consultant - I was only in his office last week planning the next step of treatment - I would have been pregnant at the time though!!

Bejeena · 26/07/2015 19:14

I have decided to hang on until my son's birthday, which is Tuesday. I will be 4 days late by then and have a clearblue test ready. I tested earlier in the week on Internet cheapie but decided I was going to drive myself barmy. If I am pregnant I also want to have my booking in appointment as late as possible as they will do a scan and I want to be far along enough to see a heartbeat as last time I had to go back for 3 scans

I am currently two days late so fingers crossed.

Drheb · 26/07/2015 19:40

Fingers crossed for you bejeena!

Katenumber3 · 26/07/2015 20:37

I'm expecting, I think early April! Not too sure as my cycle is so off.

The cat who is usually standoffish has been loving me more than usual, even licking me, and I thought - hm, the last time she was like that I was... so I POAS and got my BFP this morning! Not quite sure of my due date as I hadn't had a period since coming off the pill but had two estimates in April going by cat (so scientific!)

FussyHendricks · 27/07/2015 09:35

Argh just wrote and lost my post. Grr. Here goes again:

Hello and congratulations Megan Salty Kate and Thecometobed. Fingers crossed for sticky beans all round!

Haha Issie don't think I can give up my morning coffee just yet. I went of all hot drinks at 6-7 weeks last time. Not sure how I'll keep my eyes open at work if that happens again!

Bejeena fingers firmly crossed for Tuesday

Drheb really glad telling your friend went well. DH told his family when we went out for dinner last night. Lovely reaction from them all and it's nice not to have to make up anymore excuses for me not drinking!

I've just downloaded the Pregnancy+ app too Smile

Has anyone other than Newbie made a docs appt or self referral yet?

meganlilly89 · 27/07/2015 09:46

Fussy.. I have just made my doctors appointment for Wednesday..

Also on the hot drinks, I can't drink coffee atm so my dh brought me decaf Tetley's tea which taste just like normal tea.

How are people's symptoms? I'm so tired which is a struggle with a hyper 3 year old and work lol.

Newbiehome · 27/07/2015 11:32

Super tired and sore boobs = winning Wink
Actually cancelled my Drs app as found the self referral form online for our hospital so going to send that off which seems straight forward enough.

Issie339 · 27/07/2015 13:07

Congrats kate and thecometobed !!

Glad it all went well telling the family fussy, my mum's overseas for another 3 weeks but when she's back I think we'll tell the family- want my mum to be here.

I did my self-referral today. We have a choice of 4 hospitals where we are and I ended up with a bad one when I had DD because we moved to the area when I was already 5 months gone so the others were full up and it DID NOT go well unfortunately. So really hoping I'll get the hospital I want this time! Fx

Hello everyone! I just got my BFP today Smile baby due 9 April, it was our second month of trying so we've been incredibly lucky.

I'm 29, and already have a 2 yo DD. She'll be 33 months when DC2 is born, which seems a nice age gap.

Venus2 · 27/07/2015 15:07

Hi all, I'm not sure when my EDD is as I have not had a period since DD1 was born. She recently turned 8 months. All I know is that my test was negative last week (too early to test) and the few tests I did this week were positive. I'm super excited about having a second child as I always wanted 2 close together.

Diggum · 27/07/2015 17:56

Hi everyone! Can I join you??

32 years old and just confirmed this morning. POAS 4 days ago but got nothing so packed up for a weekend away expecting AF in the next day or two, but AF did not arrive!

BFP today and due April 2nd.

This will be DC2 for us. DD1 is 15 months old so will have 2 under 2 for a short while all going wellSmile.

Thrilled, with the usual bit of nervousness. We're going to try and keep it quiet for another month or two (only managed to keep DD1 a secret till 7 weeks!).

Congrats to you all!

Drheb · 27/07/2015 18:42

I got my booking in appointment sorted today, In three weeks time. They didn't tell me anything about hospital, give me any options, or anything so hoping it will all be clear later. We're quite new to the area, and have clearly never had to think before about where good places to give birth are!

Still feeling fine, getting annoyed today at having to run so slowly to take it easy.

woundbobbin · 27/07/2015 22:34

Can I join you.
BFP today due April 4th according to NHS calculator.
I'm 32
This will be DC no.2 for us dd will be 3.5 when I'm due.
With dd I wasn't booked in until my 12 week scan and only one local hospital to give birth in so no decision there.

Am relatively symptom free found the sickness quite debilitating last time so not looking forward to the return of that.
Congrats to you all - looking forward to your company especially for the 1st trimester when you try to keep it a secret!

waxweasel · 28/07/2015 06:50

We're not going to do well on the keeping it a secret front...DD already knows and is bound to tell everyone despite my trying to explain about secrets Smile
I've also got 3 weddings to attend with all my oldest friends between now and the 12 week point! Not drinking is going to give the game away fairly obviously....

louwn · 28/07/2015 07:36

I have a drs appointment today to get into the system. I think Im 4+5 but I ovulated early in my cycle, so if they date from last missed period I may be a couple of days less pregnant! Got my first (faint) BFP 8 days ago and about 6 more since getting much stronger. If I went by my dates I think I'd be due 31st March but I suspect Dr will say early April. I posted on the March bus but will join you guys too! I'm 30 and this is #1, conceived on 3rd cycle of trying.

Issie339 · 28/07/2015 08:21

Hi to all the new people and congratulations! Gosh we are getting busy on here now.

I couldn't believe it this morning, my trousers are already tight, how can this be?? They are super skinny coated jeans mind but still! I have heard you pop out a lot quicker with DC2 so that will be fun, sigh. Hopefully no one at work will notice just yet Grin

How's everyone today?
