lilyb84 · 26/07/2015 14:04

Ooh a spa sounds bloody amazing, very jealous valancy and chatty!

Glad to hear of the good results, romeo Smile

And glad you had a fun time at the wedding, wysney! I was out for the second night in a row last night and once again wasn't in bed til nearly 2. Sooo not looking forward to work...

Well done on the bargain, sleepy. Just heard from my sister that she's not giving us their pram as it wasn't very good, and turns out they don't have as much to give us as she previously thought, so I'm going to need to start paying a little more attention to everyone's pram/equipment conversations!!

stupidgirl45 · 26/07/2015 16:16

brickie Glad all is okay

Where have you all got all your energy from? I'm flipping knackered and a bit nauseous again. I think it's a hormone surge as bump/boobs bigger and I'm spotty again. I'm 14+4 and from what I remember I felt a bit pants 14-16 weeks last time (worst at 15 wks) hoping to just rest and ride it out but still, where's all my lovely energy gone.

Given the rubbish weather we went to IKEA croydon - and every other woman was pregnant too hahaha there. DS had a whale of a time picking out things for his big boy bedroom which was very cute but I'm so tired now.

Ugh might be a lazy dinner tonight. I can't be faffed with much.

Hope everyone else is blooming more!

SG

lilyb84 · 26/07/2015 16:27

stupid Very little energy here, been very much dragging myself through the last few days!

Croydon is our local Ikea too! Haven't made it there yet but now we've got the car it's on the list...

AlohaMama · 26/07/2015 16:30

feel the same stupid not so much with nausea but just knackered. pouring of rain all day so entertaining the kids was hard work (we'd done breakfast, sweeping - they "helped", helping with laundry, painting, making bread and playing in the bath with shaving foam all by about 10.30 this morning!!). ended up making a crumble with custard this afternoon to cheer me up Smile

stupidgirl45 · 26/07/2015 16:54

LilyB84 I recommend NOT going on a rainy sunday. It was rammed :) I must have looked a rightmiserable cow, wandering around sipping ginger ale, rubbing my bump and sitting down. Accompanied by my DS yelling "I want to go home" at the top of his lungs!

AlohaMama Wow! That's more than I've achieved in abbout a week. I seem to have good day - do lots followed by bad day - do nothing. I really need a balance LOL

It's supposed to chuck it down tomorrow too bleugh. Will trek to town and get DS some new glasses and a coffee as a morning "activity".

Feel like have been pregnant forever....!!!

AlohaMama · 26/07/2015 17:19

stupidgirl beleive me all i want to do right now is sleep. Unfortunately DD has a kind of low attention span and if we're not out doing stuff her tendencey is to destroy the house. i was aiming for distraction!

frozenfairy123 · 26/07/2015 17:21

Feeling tired here too! Sure by 16 weeks last time I was fine but everything takes it out of me. Obviously it's hard with a lively toddler but lacking energy.

Lookingforadvice123 · 26/07/2015 17:24

Afternoon all! Still feeling pants here at 17+1. Had a dizzy/fainty spell whilst getting ready which I've had a couple of times before, i go all hot and feel sick, it sort of washes over me and I feel like I'm about to faint so have to sit/lie down. Felt better after dh pointed the fan on me and I ate lunch so went to b&q as I'm nesting big time and want everything perfect for the baby - we've been in our house 8 months and have done quite a bit but it stalled over the last few months, dh finishing painting the baby's room duck egg blue today Smile

How's everyone doing on the exercise front, those who used to work out regularly? I feel like I'm barely doing anything and I worry that it'll make it so much harder going back (eg to spin) once baby's here!

kep1979 · 26/07/2015 17:59

Another knackered lady here, I just seem to need to lie down all of the time. Had a day of baby/house shopping yesterday and then family bbq and it killed me. Today I have pretty much spent on the bed doing nothing. I hope it's just baby having a growth spurt. Oh well, only working 18 days between now and 7 September so that's a cheery thought Smile

kep1979 · 26/07/2015 18:01

Meant to say brickie that I'm happy the scan went well, fingers crossed the bleeding stops soon.

And great news on the test results those ladies that have received them.

melonface · 26/07/2015 18:26

Looking I'm still managing to run and did a 5k park run yesterday which I was really proud of myself for, especially as I'd been so sick earlier in the week. I'm feeling a bit rough, have had such a busy weekend and have overdone it a bit! Not feeling very rested ready for work tomorrow Confused

brickie glad you've had some good news

So many of you are so organised! I'm still to scared to buy anything just yet. Counting down the hours to my 16 week scan in 2 weeks time!

SleepyDragon · 26/07/2015 19:03

Thanks MissM and Lily

We didn't realise it was MP3 compatible, best not tell DH or he'll be having it plugged in to the Vaccines, The Pixies and Rolling Stoned lol!

lutrinae · 26/07/2015 19:05

Really glad you got checked Brickie.
Also very jealous of the spa ladies!

I love spotting preggo couples in IKEA. We went yesterday in Edinburgh, just for a few boring bits of furniture but we couldn't resist the POANG (sp?) chair as someone was recommending on here - plus the mini version for DS, super cute - and it's dead comfy, I've barely been out of it. Much prefer it to the cumbersome nursing chair I had when DS was a baby.

Had a weird day here, lots of mood swings from everyone, some shouting (DP), some tears (me) and a whole lot of whingeing (DS). I guess cause we were trying to get things done. I hate chore days.

No energy here at all and the vomit keeps coming Sad On the plus side DH baked banana bread. But I had to stop myself from licking the bowl! My favourite bit.

14+2 (I think!)

spydie · 26/07/2015 20:05

14 + 1 here and feeling hideous today too! Busy day yesterday, went into town to the Dorchester for tea for our anniversary, then wedding reception in evening. Stayed at MILs last night, and I think the cup of early grey at 11pm with some left over chocolate cake from our tea was not the best move. That is on top of chocolate cake and mousse and a pot of tea in the afternoon, so caffeine overload.... Hideous night sleep, wide awake at 2am to pee and could not get back to sleep. Spent today mostly on the coach feeling lightheaded and sick to my stomach Sad most active thing I've done all day is attempting to crawl through a hedge to rescue a heron that had been hit by a car on my way back from stables tonight. Still picking splinters out of my arms HmmConfused

I haven't been managing much activity/exercise at all.... Usually out riding on my horse most days and busying about doing physical work, but have been very hit and miss since a couple of weeks in. Some days feel great and other days no energy and can't even walk up the stairs without feeling like I'm going to pass out. Would love to feel well enough to be back to my usual activity levels.

mrsfazruns · 26/07/2015 20:32

looking im managing about 3-4 sessions a week! Either spinning, swimming or running! Managed 5k tonight with a mate and going to try and parkrun for as long as I can

Yokyil · 26/07/2015 20:56

Have looked into Pregnancy Yoga classes - a batch of 8 classes is £75...like the idea of it but dunno about the price Confused my exercise has been non existent. I will go out for the odd walk, but very few and far between! I just feel so so lazy Sad
Spent nearly all day indoors cus of the weather, looking at nursery furniture, swinging seats, and everything else! Dunno where to start...have so much to do to our home before baba arrives Envy

MissMartin10 · 26/07/2015 21:32

i wish i had your lot's motivation and get up and go!
i never did exercise before being pregnant.. never need to as luckly im pretty skinny and have a fast metabolism.. but I've already put on 3lb's and can't start working out now as i didn't do it before. .. all i do is swim and that's for fun as i take my 13year old brother and we mess about Grin my only exercise is dtd Blush

impatientlywaiting · 26/07/2015 23:19

Sorry I have been quiet, but have been reading. So pleased you had a scan Brickie and that things still seem positive.

Gender scan the other day. It's a girl. Already have a little boy who is 15 months. Can't believe it's a girl. Nub theory was right for us - had a definite girl nub at 12 week scan.

coffeenut · 27/07/2015 01:10

congrats on the girl impatient!

I'd really like my 20 week scan now thanks (for which I'll be almost 21 weeks - they won't do them any earlier than 20 weeks here & that was the earliest I could fit in). Not much movement and not really feeling anything except large and tired. I feel like I've put on a lot already and really really need to be a bit more careful. Still fitting into size 10 mat clothes - if that changes I'm in trouble! My rib-cage measurement has increased by 4 inches though?! Bought some bigger underwired bras with underwire. Can't quite bare the thought of going without underwires yet.

I'm also starting to feel a bit of urgency in terms of getting DD2 toilet trained and sleeping through. She is very disinterested in the potty (ie hates it) and toddles into our bed at 2am every night. Sigh.

17 +1

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 27/07/2015 06:18

Congrats on your member of team pink impatient! There are going to be so many little ladies in january. I'm still convinced my bambino is a member of team blue. And I'm sure I've felt a few little flutters over the weekend! Grin

mrschatty · 27/07/2015 06:56

Congratulations impatient! I was convinced I'm team blue but now not got a clue! Woke up to tummy still poking out today usually it's flat in morning! I'm 15+1 today!

AlohaMama · 27/07/2015 07:31

Congrats on the girl impatient

I can't wait to find out - 25th Aug is my scan date so not too long to go now. I'm surprised I've not been more impatient for it, but then I think am so busy with the 2 kids havne't had time to think about this pregnancy!!

mrsfazruns · 27/07/2015 08:00

Think we have changed our mind from team yellow todts find out ..... Scan is 22nd august! Can't come quick enough
