MissMartin10 · 25/07/2015 11:53

oyster yay! that's great Grin

Oysterbabe · 25/07/2015 11:56

ThanksSmile
Congrats on yours too pug

Pugmumlondon · 25/07/2015 12:20

Congrats oyster! Onto the next worry...!!!

crumble74 · 25/07/2015 12:28

Congrats on the good results oyster & pug!

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience on the tube pug, people can be so horrible. Not the same I know but I was in tears after a rude old man gave me evils when I sat too close to his table at a coffee shop (with baby in buggy). When you're courteous to other people it's a real shock when they're vile back.

Pugmumlondon · 25/07/2015 13:39

Thanks both. crumble people are so horrid aren't they?

Who's up for a scan pic? Forgot to post mine from last weekend. I'm almost (not really) dreading when I can feel the movements as he/she was moving around so much the sonographer struggled to get a clear picture!

Cute pic pug! You can see he or she's a wriggler Smile

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/07/2015 14:37

So sorry brickie how stressful and worrying for you. I really wouldn't worry about the movements, at this stage there's not really a pattern anyway because they're so tiny. I have literally felt a few random jabs from my baby over the past couple of weeks, but there have been days where I've felt more or less. No consistency whatsoever. If it's possible though I would go and get checked, can your DH stay with dc and you go alone?

MissMartin10 · 25/07/2015 17:50

pug Aww thats a lovely pic Smile x

MaybeMrsMum2016 · 25/07/2015 19:24

Hope everything is still ok in there Brickie!

Nice pic pug! I hope the wriggler doesn't keep you up at night too much further down the line!

brickiemum2 · 25/07/2015 21:18

I did phone the royal Cornwall hospital in the end for advice and they asked me to come in. Cervix still closed but the old blood is definitely coming from inside the uterus. Baby active and heartbeat heard. She said the situation is as positive as it can be at the minute, still in a wait and see scenario though. She also said this on/off bleeding could possibly continue for the entire pregnancy and that it's not unreasonable for me to ask to be checked when I get very worried.

Lookingforadvice123 · 25/07/2015 21:24

That sounds very positive brickie, I've always heard that old blood is usually not a problem at all. Take care xx

MissMartin10 · 25/07/2015 21:33

brickie great to hear baby is active! Smile so glad you got checked. . hopefully you feel better now hearing the hb.
take care hun x

lilyb84 · 25/07/2015 21:57

Glad you went to get it checked Brickie. Good to have heard the heartbeat. Hopefully you can enjoy the rest of your holiday a bit more now.

ValancyJane · 26/07/2015 07:38

Really glad you got it checked out brickie I was wondering about you last night. That sounds really positive, I hope you feel a bit happier and reassured Smile

Had an exciting day yesterday, I was a bit mopey in the morning and feeling like we really weren't organised and hadn't bought anything yet, so when OH came home from work we went out to Mothercare and bought a little outfit and a toy. I know it's barely anything but I feel SO much better now we've started buying things, and we're going to clear and paint the nursery to be this week. Also, found out that MIL has booked us into a spa next week as an early birthday present, so we're going to book a few days away somewhere after that and have a little mini holiday!

MissMartin10 · 26/07/2015 09:25

valancy a spa break sounds amazing right now.. im jealous hehe Smile
im going to start painting the nursery in sep whether I'm 20weeks so all the stuff can be put away into the room rather than dumped in bags! the gender scan is in 2 weeks to im going to do it neutral creams/beiges with a hint of mint for a boy or pink Grin

mrschatty · 26/07/2015 09:46

pug and oyster wonderful news on the results!
valency ooooh a spa! I'm off to one next weekend for a hen do (I'm chief bm) will be lovely to just laze by the pool... I'm only getting a pedi. It's also coupled with a club and 27 other women that bit I'm not excited for haha get me a seat. And I'm not joking but all the girls going are stunning. Around my age 25 but bodies to die for....I'm feeling a serious confidence issue atm!!!

crumble74 · 26/07/2015 10:24

That sounds nice valancy! It's good to be excited about baby's arrival too and buy a few things. It's so easy for anxiety or doubts to take over.

mrschatty They might have amazing bodies but are they growing an actual live baby in there? Now THAT's amazing! Go flaunt it and enjoy your pedi!

Romeolovesjuliet · 26/07/2015 10:36

Great news on the positive screening results. I got mine yesterday and down's was 1:11000 and Edward's/patau in the 20,000s. I'm really pleased as I will be (just) 35 by the time the baby comes.
So glad you got checked brickie and that it was positive news. Sounds like you saw someone sensible and kind too.
Very jealous of the spa trips!
Well it's a horrible wet day here so I am sat in the cinema with DS watching Thomas and friends. Living the dream!

mrschatty · 26/07/2015 10:54

Wynsey · 26/07/2015 11:16

I had my first big non drinking event yday!! Had a wedding and I had a great time. No one was really drunk and I danced all night. Smile I was asked about 500 times how I was feeling and ushered to sit down!! Haha but can't complain!

Hope everyone is having a lovely Sunday xx

AlohaMama · 26/07/2015 11:53
