Morning ladies
Hope you are all keeping well. Just thought I would start this weeks thread (I am still catching up with you guys from last weeks).
TPT today and I have dared to measure I am 12+6 weeks and currently meaasure 9.5 sheets. I can't imagine how big I am going to get with two in there.
Anyway I have decided to go for the Nuchal scan and have the last apt on Friday afternoon. HOpefully hti swill all go okay and nothing else to worry about, if I come back as high risk I think I will go for further testing (that's todays plan anyway - subject to hormonal changes )

I will endeavour to catch up with all your news later but just a quickie - DH was helped out of his cot when a baby by his big sis who accidentally (cough cough) dropped hime down the stairs. He broke his knee and still has occasional trouble with it now, so not overprotective at all to get checked out. Sensible in my mind

Cheers Have a godd TPT.

LG&T - Email wingin it's way to you now...

pebblemum · 25/11/2006 16:08

Good afternoon ladies, just thought i would pop on and say hi while we still have power, according to the weather us lucky people in the south are expecting a hurricane and possible powercuts/flooding (oh joy)Actually i will believe it when i see it although the weather has been pretty shit all day and its now very dark outside and has started thundering much to the boys' amusement
They have just gone hunting for torches and candles just in case. Last power cut we had i couldnt find a torch so went into the garden and grabbed the solar powered lights, they worked very well and there was no risk of batteries running out

Hope you are all well today and wrapped up nice and warm indoors. Havent really got much news but had to check the thread as usually i find that if i miss a day there have been loads of posts which takes ages to read. Obviously everyone has more important things to do today than sit on their arses in front of the comp On that note i think i had better get off mine and do something useful.

Will check in tomorrow and see if there is anyone about, im a loner this weekend as Dh is out today and then fixing MIL's car all day tomorrow so please come on and chat or i'll get all lonely ()

largeginandtonic · 25/11/2006 16:12

Really are we getting a hurricane warning? Didnt hear anything as have not watched the news. Ooooooh do you think the rabbits will be ok outside? We have 2, violet and benjamin, they are soooo cute.

MKG · 26/11/2006 01:25

It was beautiful here today, nice and sunny, and quite warm for November.

I'm jealous of everyone that can feel you're babies moving. I almost never felt ds moving. Only after about 22 weeks and only in the morning before breakfast. He was my alarm clock. Dh never felt him moving in my tummy because he was very shy and never moved that much (that I could feel, non-stress tests said he was moving like crazy). It will probably be the same with this baby too. I was always jealous of my sil who was 4 months behind me and could feel hers, and I could never feel mine.

katybumps · 26/11/2006 10:49

morning all can someone please please please tell me who got voted out of the xfactor last night,i missed the results and cant find tem anywhere thanks x

pebblemum · 26/11/2006 11:11

Morning

Sorry I didnt watch x factor last night so cant help me, ds2 had me watching bloody scooby doo movies all night, he just would not go to sleep.

Im sorry i disappeared yesterday i thought no one was around but i was obviously wrong. Did manage to have a good clear out though so staying away from mnet wasnt a bad idea

My little one has been moving around a lot, it started off as small fluttering movements but now its moving around a lot more. Ive been having the flutterings since i was about 10wks which i thought was too early and started thinking that maybe i was further along than i thought but it turns out my dates were spot on (that'll teach me for getting my hopes up)

Im off to MIL's later for dinner again (2wks in a row without having to cook a roast)Dh is already round there with ds2 fixing her car and ds1 is in his room tidying up so its really peaceful here. I had a nice breakfast with no interuptions (got to be a first) then i had a nice long bath without Ds2 wanting to climb in, it was heaven, havent had a morning like that for ages. Bet its not that peaceful up MIL's with ds2 trying to help fix the car

largeginandtonic · 26/11/2006 11:23

Frenchsmallfry · 26/11/2006 12:38

Hello all, Had a really lovely weekend so far, the twins arrived with No hic ups and Mum was really suprised and very pleased that they had come over. We had a little get together last night with some friends, lots of food and wine and a big b'day cake. Have a headache now today but unfortunatly it is not a hang over.

I am jealous of you guys feeling baby move. Don't worry JL I am with you, JL I also didn't feel my first till 18 weeks so don't worry.

A few weeks ago I really thought I could feel it but haven't for over a week now, so think it was probably wind before. I know baby is well as I have my doppler so I'm not worried about that but it is annoying. I love feeling them move. I think it is down to my low lying anteria placenta coushioning my belly.

I do have a little bump now though, Only when I lie down but it's nice to feel it there.

lg&t I have an e-mail I thought I'd send to you on the address you gave Jl. Is that OK?

lupins71 · 26/11/2006 13:03

largeginandtonic · 26/11/2006 16:09

Would love exciting email from you FSF, amd all intrigued....

The sweets sound yum, i found some vimto bonbons in the week they are so lovely. No KK's for me yet though.....boo hoooo

Xmas decs already? Its not december yet, i cant do anything festive till it's december. I do go a bit mad when it does arrive though...

Ive just been lurking on the due in nov thread, im chatting to a couple of ladies on other threads from there. It is so scary, it sort of bought it home that im going to have to do all that again. One ladies DP posted for her as they were leaving for the hospital! I cant believe it, im sure it will be fine...

MKG · 26/11/2006 16:25

It is weird to think that the we will be having our babies in a matter of months. It still is very surreal to me. Everytime I look at ds or sit with him or cuddle with him, I feel sad, because before I know it won't be just him and me anymore. Then I get happy because I'll have two people to cuddle instead of one.

I can't wait for May. I just keep thinking after the Winter is over we will be on the home stretch.

My sister is cursing me. She has two very difficult kids. DD 3 yo, and DS 6mo. Her dd is great but very energetic. She complained all weekend of having two kids and how hard it is, and how I don't understand because my ds is an angel. (He is a very easy baby, and I know that we are blessed to have him). She keeps telling me that my next child will not be that easy, and then I'll understand what being a parent is about. I just told her that just because her kids are difficult it doesn't mean mine will be. Personally I think she has a bad attitude. Every chance she got she disappeared and left me with her kids. She didn't ask me to watch them, she just disappeared.

Frenchsmallfry · 26/11/2006 16:29

Will send it to you now lg&t, it's not that exciting, but it tickled my humour. they should have a way to attatch things on here and then I could show it to all of you.

katybumps · 26/11/2006 16:45

we just pulled the decs out to see what we needed what needed replacing etc.ive got a day off on weds for my scan so going shopping in afternoon.we decorate the tree on the 1st.we put on xmas music and i let the kids decorate the tree ,they usually put all the decorations in one place!when theyve gone to bed the fairys come and rearrange it mkg maybe its because your sister has got such a bad attitude that her kids are like that, they pick up on these things x

Frenchsmallfry · 26/11/2006 16:51

MKG, I agree with Katybumps, everyone told me that after ds, he was a good easy baby. Every one said ut oh trouble is on it's way. WRONG, she is a sweetheart. Well when she is not teething but thats different. She is such a good girl we don't know she is there half the time. I think it's true, your children respond to the way you are. My bf in the UK says my children are so good and easy because I am Miss earth mother, chilled and relaxed. Her words not mine.

MKG · 26/11/2006 16:59

I think it attitude too. I've noticed that fairly high strung people have high strung babies and low key people have low key babies. It always amazes me how babies and kids pick up on things we don't even say.
