Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 33rd grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

The universe is taking the absolute fucking piss!!! I've just got up early after having had very little sleep to go to acupuncture appointment I was really looking forward to. I'm sitting outside the woman's house for my 9:30 appointment and no ones answering the door or phone.

Will stay another 5 mins then leave. How disappointing :(

Dulcet I'm obviously no expert but IME a hungry 10lber will tell you when he's hungry! If he's doing plenty of wees and poos then he's getting enough. Anyway, sorry, unwanted advice and all that. Just glad you're well, it's scary when you first get them home Smile

Indigoblue2 · 20/07/2015 09:54

purple I would have been raging too. It's really unfair of her to assume your care of your child would be any less if you decide to go back to work for a few days a week. I'm glad you made your feelings known.

deeply yes the official advice is that you start the perineal stretching at 37 weeks I started at 35 When I looked into why, it's only because by then you are considered full term, and they assume you will have 3 weeks of stretching before baby is born at 40 weeks, however we all know this isn't always the case. There are no risks associated with starting before 37 weeks which is why I got going sooner, but officially it's meant to be 37.

ga the official advice for selling them on is that you shouldn't. It's basically to do with disease transmission etc I think, same way as they wouldn't recommend you sell on a sex toy. Mine is washed with soap and water after each use and then I rub it with a Sterex sterilising wipe like the ones they use for injections. Then it air dries and I put it away. They say you can use them for two pregnancies though. I know people do sell them on though. I suppose it's just about being careful and clean with them.

pud the thing is that your fanjo is going to be stretched however you do it, either in a oner by giving birth, or with the Epi no first. I was surprised though that it felt the same DTD, but then I suppose a stretch is only temporary and then your muscles etc go back, they just have a bigger capacity as you train.

dulcet he said it felt the same... Blush It did to me anyway! Glad you are home. Sounds like if you've got the how sorted re BF, you have broken the back of it, are you lansinoh'd up? Is it sore?

la good luck with the sweep!! I'm hoping for a bishops score to rival my stretching score - come on cervix, you can do it!!

Indigoblue2 · 20/07/2015 09:55

Edited to add: pud you is one classy lady Grin

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 20/07/2015 09:56

Flowers for la.

LaLaLaaaa · 20/07/2015 10:11

Congratulations auf!!!

LaLaLaaaa · 20/07/2015 10:17

Acupuncture lady never turned up so I've driven home again. So disappointed

pretzelpieces · 20/07/2015 10:32

dulcet yay! How exciting! I'm sure he'll wake up when he's hungry!

Loving all the farting stories. Style it out, viroids!

la excellent rant. Sorry acupuncture didn't happen but good luck for the sweep! Third time's a charm, right? Grin

Welcome auf!!

I'm 12 weeks today! Although they might revise that at the dating scan I guess (it's by lmp). Looking at ff I might only be 11+4 Hmm

Oh La, that really sucks! Sad

I am a bit worried about this whole stretching thing (pun intended). Last time I had surgery I had scar tissue and adhesions all over my lower womb and around the vagina. I may have mentioned it before... I've only been able to have pain free sex since about June 2014. Before then it was agony as my vagina couldn't expand past all the scarring etc. I guess I am worried it has grown back since then and I might struggle to get anything out. Confused

It didn't show up on an ultrasound last time so bit worried we won't realise until I start pushing and nothing happens!

RPopz · 20/07/2015 10:57

How fucking rude La!

Hooray for a baby in the house Dulce!

indigo your foof adventures never cease to amaze me Grin

Indigoblue2 · 20/07/2015 11:21

Happy 12 weeks prezel!!

I know popz - the whole thing is terribly exciting isn't it? I hope I'm not coming across like a Epi no salesman!! Disclaimer: I've no idea if this is going to help me avoid a tear, I just like the premise of training your perineum in advance and hoping my avid use will pay off if I end up with a section I'll be raging

jellypi3 · 20/07/2015 11:34

Happy 12 weeks pret :) i'm excited to find out my dates according to scan tomorrow!! dp ruined my good mood by saying hopefully we will find out the date.....

honey i'm not expert but maybe they will notice when you get your first internal exam? Or at your booking app mention it to your midwife, it might be that they recommend a c-section for you instead?

la that's shocking, i'd expect a free session after that! So rude!

I'm pissing off all my colleagues by sniffling and coughing right now.

Niffertiti · 20/07/2015 11:48

Place marking.... Very late. Been away for w/e off grid, will catch up. Attempting to work...

honeysucklejasmine · 20/07/2015 11:50

Yes will mention it to my midwife for sure.

Have you got plenty of tissues and tea?

ThursdayLast · 20/07/2015 11:52

honey I think you need to make sure every single HCP you see during this pregnancy knows about that scarring, and about any worries you might have. I didn't have any kind of internal examination until a sweep at 40weeks, and then that's not the kind of thing your MW will be looking for.

ThursdayLast · 20/07/2015 11:53

Oh x-post. Apologies.

jellypi3 · 20/07/2015 11:59

Lots of tissues (i bought a 12 pack from superdrug). No tea though, i'm caffeine free at the moment

MollyBloomYes · 20/07/2015 12:05

Third time's a charm surely la?! Sorry about the missed appointment how very annoying!

Yay for 12 weeks pretzel!

I once sneezed and trumped in front of an entire class when teacher training. No idea if it was audible as my ears were full of sneeze. They were year 3 so probably too scared to say anything.

Teething toddler with stinking cold, raining and beginnings of same cold in me. He is being an arsehole frankly, it's going to be a cbeebies kind of day. Fucking Waybalu....

LaLaLaaaa · 20/07/2015 12:09

Happy 12 weeks pretzel!

Honey - I agree I'd be making sure they know and find out if it could have an effect.

Spoke to acupuncture lady - how awful is this!?! She had missed my appointment because the village vicar killed himself at the weekend and she'd been up at the school helping to explain to the children and help his wife (it's a church school and he taught there). How awful!! Poor man and his poor family!

Luckily I hadn't left an arsey message or anything I just had said I was bit confused as to why no one was there and could she call me. She just treated me for free as apology.

Very very odd experience! Felt very strange and baby wiggled a lot

honeysucklejasmine · 20/07/2015 12:17

Thanks Thursday, I think I am going to have to really push for them to check I am OK for VB. I don't want a c section but equally, I remember trying to fit in DH's penis. There's no way a baby would fit!

Gx it'll all be OK because it grew back somewhere else. Wink

honeysucklejasmine · 20/07/2015 12:17

Gosh La that's terrible! That poor community!

ThursdayLast · 20/07/2015 12:26

Well done for holding back on the arsey message La!

I'm sure you'll be fine honey but IME the way to make sure they know everything they need to know is to tell them yourself!

Feeling fucking grim again this morning- hoovering near killed me. Luckily DS is knackered from weekends excitements and not requiring much parental input from me today.

He's napping and I'm lying in bed listening to my little village get worked up for the arrival of Prince Charles Grin

Purpleball · 20/07/2015 12:29

Happy 12 weeks Pretzel

Thanks for the indignation lovelies - have text my mum to apologise for storming out and told her how upset I am. She's not replied but she's not great with texts, can't phone her cos said Aunt is staying with her til the end of September

La how awful, glad you got treated anyway

Honey I think you need to see a gynae consultant to discuss options
I'm having a section and I'm cool with it now as medically its the best option for me. I was a bit upset that I wouldn't get to do things more naturally but its not an option. The alternative for me is induction and I'm not going there

DulcetMoans · 20/07/2015 12:30

Shock That's awful la! Good job you weren't angry at her. Poor lady! Have you had the session this morning still?

Sounds like something to mention honey, so they can keep an eye on it. Sounds uncomfortable! Same as thursday, was surprised there was no internal really until right at the end so worth making sure they are aware in case there are extra checks.

Welcome auf, hope you get results soon!!

Fatty baby has been weighed and down to 9lb 5oz - still a big boy!!

ThursdayLast · 20/07/2015 12:32

I really really want a section Grin
