We're pulling pompoms from our fanjos to cheer each other on, breaking beds, twiddling our nipple tassles and counting jeremies! It'll be sneezebirths all round on JSing Grads 34!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 33rd grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Empem your arse woes sound particularly horrendous! You poor thing!

LaLaLaaaa · 22/07/2015 08:28

Ooh it's pretzel scan day isn't it?

WilHarlot · 22/07/2015 08:30

Ooh I like that Jelly.

Oh La, wish I could wave a magic wand for you. What are your feelings about induction, bearing in mind your SPD and everything?

LaLaLaaaa · 22/07/2015 08:34

Wil I think tbh if only that MW last week had not been so pussy footing (scuse the pun!) I'd have had baby by now! The one on Monday def worked and he's ready to go but just needed a bit of help. Just spoke to mw who's feeling desperately sorry for me and going in a 12:40. Hopefully this one will be the trigger he needs.

Induction booked for Sunday if nothing

La you don't have to have a sweep today! I found that sweeps did absolutely nothing apart from dislodge my plug, so I will certainly be refusing any this time around.

ChatEnOeuf · 22/07/2015 08:37

Oh La GX today will start things off properly. I have no clue what you're feeling like - rapid early labours are my thing. They would probably induce you if you asked.

Honey Iris is beautiful- it was on our list for a girl.

ThursdayLast · 22/07/2015 08:39

But also adding a gentle hug too Thanks

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 22/07/2015 08:47

Good luck la! Sweeps sound miserable. :( FWIW My gynae poked at the top of my womb to get things going! Sort of pushed down lightly to shift the baby down an inch? Started contracting about ten seconds minutes later. Can you put the cat right on top of your bump to see if it will do the same thing?
Jelly I'm sorry about your mother but glad about your nan. Flowers
I hate piles. Hoping to put them off for as long as possible this side around.
Love the name Lillith. She doesn't have to be Lily of course if shortened. She could be Tith! Unusual, easy to remember, and sounds strongwilled. Or else I have weird ideas about names. Hmm
I also really like the name Roman, FWIW. Hmm I'm betting DH's name is Marcus.

LaLaLaaaa · 22/07/2015 08:55

Been doing that lots auf, also lots of squats to try to get baby's head into cervix as much as possible. He's coming, just slowly!

Thursday I just want him out now, I'd do anything if I thought it'd help Smile

Purpleball · 22/07/2015 08:56

Oh La, sending hugs lovie. Try some more twerking?

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 22/07/2015 08:57

Anything? Hmm

pretzelpieces · 22/07/2015 08:59

Oh la you poor thing. I really hope this baby comes out today or at least things kick off properly for you. Thanks

It's my 12 week scan today! In about an hour in fact. I'm shitting myself (not literally Grin).

Good luck pretzel! I'm sure you don't need it though Smile

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 22/07/2015 09:05

Oh la I totally feel for you. Like i said, dd was induced at 10 days over and those last ten days were hard. I still get Angry when people complain how hard the last few weeks of pregnancy were then i find they delivered at 38 weeks. Not that 36-38 weeks was easy, but i found 40 - 40+10 infinitely harder.

jelly sorry your mom is being rubbish. At least you have good sorry from your nan. For what it's worth my usually supportive patents send to lose the plot with my first pregnancy and were pretty horrible, kept telling me how likely it was i would miscarry, told my mil not to but anything for the baby until after 20 weeks at the earliest in case baby didn't make it. And kept telling me how fat i was (i wasn't, i was just normally pregnant ). I almost didn't tell them till later this time but they've actually been ok so far, i think coz is my second. This time though both my mom and my FIL asked if it was planned! I mean really, why do people want to know this?

I had loads of other things i meant to reply to but I'm afraid I've forgotten what they were....

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 22/07/2015 09:07

Oh i crossposted with tons of people. pretzel good luck, hopefully all will be well.

jellypi3 · 22/07/2015 09:11

Good luck pretzel :) looking forward to another scan pic!

toaat I'm sure she will try to talk to me later but only via Facebook, I dunno how receptive I'll be.

I like Lilith, but there's also the biblical conotations dp doesn't like (she was adam's first wife and was turned into a demon for not being subservient, I kinda like that haha!). I like Rowan for a boy :)

deeplybaffled · 22/07/2015 09:25

Oh, la - you really do have all my sympathy. Is it worth just asking to be induced today instead of a sweep?

RhiannonElward · 22/07/2015 09:26

Good luck Pretzel Grin

La hope your midwife gets a good sweep done and Minila is less stubborn today.

I love Iris and Lilith, they are strong sounding names and I like that.

Pud a Birth Choices Clinic is basically a chat with a midwife about the different options for birth. I had to go because I've had two previous c-sections and I'm set on attempting a natural birth this time. It was great to talk it through and get some info specific to my hospital rather than general guides.

Chat thanks for the Spatone tip, I'll speak to my consultant tomorrow and see if I can swap over.

If I missed anything my apologies, I don't have the memory capacity for long postsSmile

oneyorkshirepud · 22/07/2015 09:31

Ooh Pretzel, sending calming thoughts for your scan. And JC?

Oh La my love, I'm sorry you are still waiting. Like you said, he is coming, just slowly. Flowers

Em your jeremies sounded awful! (clutches own bum at the thought!)

oneyorkshirepud · 22/07/2015 09:33

Thanks Rhi, is it part of the normal appointment schedule then?

DulcetMoans · 22/07/2015 09:38

All the best babies are born at 41+1 la! Wink Hopefully you will get some good news today at least.

OBEM starts again tonight - anyone risking it? I didn't mind when pregnant but now I've done it and it didn't go to plan I am not so sure!

Aufwiedersehenpetrarch · 22/07/2015 09:41

I totally admire anyone who goes over 40 weeks. Like, you guys are just amazing! Flowers

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 22/07/2015 09:41

jelly isn't Alarick also from Blade Runner?

SkyWasMadeOfAmethyst · 22/07/2015 09:44

Go la go! dulcetdulcet is right... DD came at 41 weeks 1 day too!
