We're pulling pompoms from our fanjos to cheer each other on, breaking beds, twiddling our nipple tassles and counting jeremies! It'll be sneezebirths all round on JSing Grads 34!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 34th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The 33rd grads fred is here.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 51st outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

I can't watch OBEM.
Why the fuck anyone would want that going out on national TV is beyond me

mountaingirl01 · 22/07/2015 09:47

Good luck today pretzel!

la I am sending all the dilatory thoughts to you today as well as lots of love. This will pass, he will come xx

I love iris and lilith and isla! But dh isn't keen. He likes really boring names..
also our cat is lily!

mountaingirl01 · 22/07/2015 09:47

P.s. also like ailsa

oneyorkshirepud · 22/07/2015 09:53

I'm going to make DH watch the whole series of OBEM to desensitise him. He passed out in a first aid class last year FFS. I've told him that if he passes out during labour he is getting no sympathy and I will drag my boheamoth self out of the pool to personslly slap him/pour cold water on his face until he comes round. I have considered asking a friend to be a stand in birth partner but they could be sat outside for hours and that would be a bit mean.

RPopz · 22/07/2015 09:58

Oh La! He is one chilled out boy!!

Don't think I'll be watching OBEM... My ovaries might explode...

gaggiagirl · 22/07/2015 10:11

I love OBEM. Also the new season of Wentworth starts tonight and I'm having pasta for tea tonight! Get in!

Indigoblue2 · 22/07/2015 10:14

Good luck with sweep la. GX

I usually love OBEM but this close to my impending parturition I'm giving it a miss. Last serious fucked me right off. Lots of purple pushing, epidurals and folk lying on their backs. I don't need that kind of imagery in my psyched up "I can nail this" state Grin

RhiannonElward · 22/07/2015 10:17

Pud I don't think everyone goes, I was referred by my consultant because I had previous sections and no desire to have another one. There is a very small chance that my scar will rupture in labour though which sounds unpleasant and somewhat lethal...

honeysucklejasmine · 22/07/2015 10:18

I love OBEM. I'm out tonight but will watch it on catch up tomorrow. Pud I'm having a friend as a second birthing partner. DH is not good in a crisis and works himself in to a big ball of stress. Having a second person will take the load off him a bit.

RPopz · 22/07/2015 10:23

Yeah definitely indigo! I've seen some nice waterbirths on it though.

Indigoblue2 · 22/07/2015 10:28

Yeah popz I have to, and to be fair i did see that fitness wifie on the last series on all fours, birth hers out really positively too. I'm not up for seeing scared women in pain at the moment. Blame the Ina May Gaskin book Grin

Indigoblue2 · 22/07/2015 10:28

*i have too

Fleurchamp · 22/07/2015 10:29

la I am so sorry this is dragging on for you - come on minila!! You have lots of weird internet aunties wanting to meet you Grin

I have discovered a jeremy - I thought they came during pregnancy?!? Now, when I need to be able to sit comfortably I get this. Waaaah! rhiannon yours sound truly epic Shock

Good luck for scans today all!!

I love the name Iris - our girls short list was Matilda and Iris.

DH has banned me from posting stuff like name and pics on the internet about the baby - he doesn't really do the whole social media etc and had strong views on this kind of thing - I am happy to put it on the FB group though (and have assured DH it's private Confused).

Toast85 · 22/07/2015 10:49

LOLing at weird internet aunties Grin

Ooh I'll be watching OBEM. And i have pasta for tea too ga! Beats the beans on toast I've had two days running for sure!

Indigoblue2 · 22/07/2015 10:59

I can't seem to type today. That message should have read series and not serious. I'm sure you all understood..

toast by name, toast by nature! Grin

pretzelpieces · 22/07/2015 11:03

Weird internet aunties! Yes!

ga I don't know what Wentworth is but those sound like excellent plans.

THE SCAN WENT WELL! I am so relieved. Low risk of down's etc. as well. I did a cry in the car park. Great to see wiggly baby waving their hands around. See pic attached, although I'll put it on fb too. I usually use the app so I know how shit frustrating it is! DP is making us cooked breakfast to celebrate Grin

Oh and they've dated me at 12 weeks today so only back by 2 days not three, I'm happy with that. Will update the stats sheet.

I think I'm too scared to watch OBEM. Blush

Purpleball · 22/07/2015 11:10

Hurray for a good scan Pretzel. It's such a relief Smile

I will watch OBEM but it gives me the rage when you see useless partners and giving birth on your back - you're pushing the baby uphill ffs

RhiannonElward · 22/07/2015 11:22

Congrats Pretzel Grin haven't seen pic yet but will check out Facebook later for a nose at your little beaut. Stupid app sufferer here you see Smile

RhiannonElward · 22/07/2015 11:26

As for OBEM I can't wait, I watch it with DS and DD so they understand childbirth without me having to describe it all. I have to record it and watch it at a more reasonable hour though.

SecondCupOfTea · 22/07/2015 11:26

Yay Pretzel Lovely pic colour too, show off Wink

Niffertiti · 22/07/2015 11:28

I can't wait for OBEM personally. Mostly because my DH has a little cry every time a baby pops out and it amuses me to see him being sentimental heart of stone myself he'll be a bloody waterworks now we've got one on the way.

I'm off work again today. I have a rash on my face and I feel rubbish. Just phoned docs and receptionist sounded a little worried. Doc is going to call. I've had chicken pox tho... I think I'm just run down.

Minila the internet aunties are getting impatient. Big hugs to you la, it all sounds rubbish and you must be so fed up by now.

Looking fwd to scan picture pretzel, glad it all went well!

ThursdayLast · 22/07/2015 11:29

DH took charge of DS this morning and I lay in listening to my audiobook until 9am! Bliss!
And then I got up and went for a run (nearly 5 miles!) and feel so much better for it than when I just sit around feeling sorry for myself.

I hope I haven't blown my whole days energy, because the living room carpet really is minging Grin

Niffertiti · 22/07/2015 11:30

Oh, and Matilda and iris are two of my top choices for a girl but microniff is obviously a boy I love ailsa too!

WilHarlot · 22/07/2015 11:33

Lying on my back worked for me. Horses for courses. I admire anyone who can get in an upright position when in labour pain.
