Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Pud how is Eris?

Ga what is it with people thinking you are some sort of whale?! Do you live in Hobbiton or something?! Pixie Holliw? Munchkin Land? Where everyone who is not currently a willowy size 4 is a beast? I just don't understand! YOU ARE NOT MASSIVE!

Report
LaLaLaaaa · 01/07/2015 22:59

Ga I honestly don't get why folk think you're huge! You really look quite normally pregnant!

I've just cried at pasta again. Why?

I would love it to rain here? Just to break the fug a bit

Pixie hollow sounds lovely! I think I just live in cuntsville home of the filter free fuckwits! Maybe preggers women aren't welcome in TU at Sainsburys?. Ah well at least I dont have a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp like she did.

You do seem to live in a weird world of filterless, blind people ga! I love the idea of the electric going out and reducing all the ice team though, that would be ace!

So another with bad HV experience wil, that's a shame since you do actually need her. Sure she doesn't hate though but obviously not doing much to show you!

I love Leila la but it's been veto'd. Hmm I said Maya to DH today as well mae (not quite what you said but close). Also veto'd. Nameless baby!

I think yesterday we are probably a bit jealous of your rain pis! Think we are due some today, I might run outside naked!

I'm 39 weeks today. Watermelon size apparently. Shock Getting proper nerves about actually having a baby now!

Yo yo early morning club in da house!

I have been awake on and off all night, but mn app is wank and wouldn't let me on.

Just been for yet another shower, stood naked in front of fan and now in bed with glass of ice water. Cats are confused because I let them out and it's early.

Blocked nose is back for final few weeks of pg, hooray! I had it up to 20 weeks and it went away but it's back.

Dulcet I hear you! I'm scared now. I know I can do it but it's going to really fucking hurt isn't it?

OP posts:

DulcetMoans · 02/07/2015 05:41

I don't know if it hurts, just tickles a little bit... I guess we get through it cos we have to - once it's happening that's it! Then we have a baby to look after...

My cats were confused too but grateful - sat in living room with patio open and it's lovely and cool!

batfish · 02/07/2015 05:54

Don't worry la and dulcet I've been assured from my many lying mummy friends that it's totally easy, you'll be fine Smile Maybe they weren't exactly the words they used, one of them might have said something about wanting to kill herself during labour - but they are all wanting more kids so it must be ok! Just concentrate on the amazing baby that you're doing it all for.

mae Myla is lovely too, it's a bit rhymey with our surname though so we will be saying it like Meela. Will be interesting to see if we stick with these names now!

purple we love Finley too but one of my good friends has a little boy called Finlay and shortens to Fin so I suppose Flynn is our way of having similar but not the same!

Aaargh. Worst night's sleep ever.

I am still sweating. DH put the duvet over him eventually as I had two fans going and he got "chilly". Diddums.

Speaking of NDN, a couple moved in across the street from me about a month ago, I haven't seen them but she has just had a baby - a banner appeared on their door announcing a baby girl. I took this to mean they might quite like some neighbours to know, I popped a card through their door and said that I was due my baby soon and would she like to meet up - I am going round there next week. Bit strange as we are in London and we just don't do that sort of thing Grin

With nct, enquire now about spaces - they held a spot for us for a month which gave us enough time for scans and to decide whether to go ahead.

I forget sometimes that other folk in RL are not as crude as jsers. In my exercise class I said I was hoping I'd just fart baby out and it wouldn't hurt a bit. They all looked at me like Shock

Yeah, those other mums! They are quick to follow up with how much life will change as well bat though which is scary enough - can't win!

I did the same with NCT group last week la, a comment about fruit sized blood clots that was misplaced!

That's lovely of you fleur! And it worked if you are meeting next week!

Hee hee oops La!

Honey, Eris is still not good. Sickness has stopped and diarrhoea has mostly dried up but she just does not want to eat! She lost another 5g yesterday, not a huge amount but there is literally nothing left to lose. She is still bright and vocal though. Still think we are working on 50:50 odds of survival. Will call the vet again today and see if they have any more suggestions? La/Jelly could I try plain boiled cod? (Willing to try pretty much anything at the mo.)

Report
honeysucklejasmine · 02/07/2015 07:08

Sorry Pud, you're really going through the mill with her aren't you? Sad It's good that she isn't still losing food so easily. Hopefully those 5g will be back on shortly now she's keeping things in.

It's very warm this morning! We have a ceiling fan which has been on all night, no quilt or anything, and the air is still toasty. Honestly, I was so sceptical about a ceiling fan, but it is the best thing ever.

This is the one we have with the blades turned over so they are white.

Report
jellypi3 · 02/07/2015 07:20

Yeah plain boiled white fish is also fine just make sure you remove any bones for her pud. Have her poo tests come back? Poor little mite.

I'm on a pet forum with some really knowledgable people, I can enquire on there for you if there's anything else you can try?

Another chundering episode today. Why is it hitting me now I'm almost 10 weeks!

Off to Bristol for a work boat trip. I can see this ending terribly.

Report
LaLaLaaaa · 02/07/2015 07:55

Pud if she's stopped vomiting and diarrhoea keep it bland and start to build her up. Cats eat with sense of smell so strong smelling fish is good idea but yes make sure all bones are out and use boiled fish not tinned. Are you still giving probiotic or has that stopped?

Little and often feeding to get her back on track. Your vet should be advising you though on this, I'm surprised they are not. Also I'd be going back to rescue place to let them know and see if rest of litter had same problem.

If she is bright and she is drinking water this is good sign.

I'm afraid I'm always skeptical of forums for advice (says she who's on mn!) as I see so much terrible advice given on them. I have to not visit the pets section on mn coz I just end up spending loads of time writing stuff out only for some numpty to come on and say 'well I've always done it like this and my snake lived to 20'. That's nice but I bet it wasn't happy!

Fingers crossed this is her on the mend? Now she's not loosing food she will hopefully start putting on weight. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they are all eating less in the heat?

Dh now wants to buy a fan. My logical brain thinks of course, my 'just got rid of loads of stuff in attempt to de clutter house before baby arrives' brain thinks where are we going to put it?! Don't think he realises how stressful I find all the everywhere. But a fan at night would be nice.

Think of me today viroids. I'm on the crash team and the rest of the hospital is unbearably hot ...

Jelly almost 10 weeks! Whoa there girl, where did that time go! Does this mean your 3D scan is soon? How exciting!

Pud glad Eris is keeping stuff in.

I'm still sprawled on bed. Sooo much work to do today. Cannot be bovvered.

3D scan is next Tuesday niff!! Scary times!

la I agree with you on the forum thing, but actually the one I'm on is really good. There's a vet who is on the health section who is really good with cat health. But I know what you mean regarding some people claiming they know everything. Forums are very opinionated.

I had a look at the stats this morning - can't believe you're nearly 10 weeks jelly!

Time is flying apart from for me where it's dragging

Mountain take the fan! Best purchase I ever made.

Feel sorry for anyone having to be in hospital just now. I'm meeting nct group today - 3 babies have now arrived.

Can anyone recommend us a holiday destination? Dh should be getting some money in October and has said we can pay debts and go on holiday with it. We thought travelling with baby when tiny would be easier.

We will go in November and want to go somewhere hot where it's not risky just now, normally we like to go off the beaten track but we are going to play it safe this time. Obviously somewhere where baby can go and not need major vaccines.

We are thinking a resort where we can relax and have full board, but there are things to do if we want to go do sightseeing.

Jelly that sounds good then - if there's a vet keeping eye on the health advice being given then that's perfect. Which one is it?

I use international cat care a lot, their stuff is really good. Also cats protection and blue cross. But they are websites not forums

Oh mountain I don't envy you! I'm quite glad that I am signed off so I don't have to be in the hospital in this heat.

If she's still bright that must be a good sign pud, you're doing well Smile

Lovely names Smile we've got a couple, two girls names one boys. DP seems to like names that are those of our friends and doesn't seem to have an issue with this. I however don't want that! It's so hard to choose
