Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Hello Molly a 1yo and 15 weeks pg! How are you finding it?

DH & I have been out for the most enormous meal - home now with a cuppa, rock and roll eh??

I hate every buggy and/or stroller we've ever had - I think I'm gonna have to spend big this time. I spent all the money on baby carriers with DS Grin

Wow that is bad DH behaviour Honey, LTB immediately and take the wine.

Hi Molly, welcome! Feel free to share your crazy dreams, nothing is TMI here! How are you feeling? I am a week and a half ahead if you.

Can you have a sip honey? I used to have just the tiniest amount and it was lovely :)

I definitely had the occasional sip in the first tri (waits to see if any pearl clutchers de lurk...)

I miss wine less now that I have discovered non - alcoholic beer. I guess I still feel like I am having a drink on a Fri night.

Welcome molly, that's first rate lurking! Shock glad you have decided to delurk now.

Tonight I went out for a friend's birthday and I asked for my steak well done. It was charred on the outside but still pink inside. Not bloody. DP said it was okay and I ate it but now I'm worried. Isn't it supposed to be not pink at all? Or can it be pink but still cooked? Agh. I've only been eating meat for a year so I don't know about this stuff. Also don't trust DP he didn't even know what folic acid was.

la are you in labour yet? I know dulcet is before you but I've got an inkling you'll go first!

on the subject of inklings, I've decided I'm pg but it's too early to test and I have no idea if I've even iced as AF not back yet after baby, we have been careful (and not even DTD that much) but weren't careful once, and...well..you remember when I got my BFP I just had a feeling and tested 10 DPO for no reason at all, I've got a feeling....gulp, but I'm not mentioning it. Oh no. If I don't mention it it'll be ok!

Don't panic pretzel that sounds fine- if it's heated all the way through it will be ok.

I had a lovely big bowl of mussels which I didn't think I could have last time mmmmm

Pretzel, different camps say different things about steak cooking. The 'risk' is contracting toxoplasmosis for a microscopic parasite (I think) called toxoplasmodia. The risk is small, and most likely to occur in undercooked pork I believe. You may already be immune to it anyway. My MW said that I would feel unwell if I contracted it and I think maybe they can give you a truck load of drugs at that point. (Please correct me if I am wrong here Viroids). I really, really wouldn't worry about it, the steak had been heated through and the risk is v small anyway, so try to relax if you can!

Also on the reassurance front - I am crampy (again) at 17 weeks. My book says that Christmas Pud is having a growth spurt, so I presume it is just that?

Mmmmm mussles. In a white wine sauce s with crusty bread. Yum!

Pretzel don't worry, as long as it was a reputable restaurant and was well sealed around the outside. Should be fine.

One sip is not enough. It's an all or nothing sort of wine.

Blush you are all very sensible. I am not and the NHS website says cook meat until no pink remains and that you can have toxoplasmosis with no symptoms. Sad I wish I'd sent it back for them to cook more. I could have easily done that and then I wouldn't have to be worrying now. Bollocks. And why do I always let DP reassure me when he's blasé about everything.

Zyla!! Get thee back to the undergrads and POAS Grin

Steak is toxo risk. It is crashingly rare in the UK. Endemic on the continent - but I'm still negative. They test you for it monthly here...
