Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Haha. Nothing standard about this process at all! My notes are white too.

I had to buy my yoga in blocks too toast but the last few weeks I have just been paying per session - since about 35 weeks I think as that's when a block ran out. Your teacher might let you do that. (Will pop on the web version to check out link as can't copy/paste here)

Glad you enjoyed mummy fit purple, always worth trying these things!

You are not missing anything with the bounty pack pretzel but you might be able to request one? Look on the website. The one I had for this pregnancy had barely any freebies in it even!

Fleurchamp · 09/07/2015 07:31

Morning all

I have a blue book for my notes Grin

I had to see a GP who then booked me in with the mw. I saw her at 10 weeks.

The GP did the referral to the hospital to get 12 week scan date, it was a shambles in my area because two trusts merged (a good one with a failing one) and, although I requested the "good" hospital (which is also my closest) they automatically put me down at the "failing" one!!! It took me ages to sort it out. Basically, the failing hospital was opening a new maternity wing and they wanted to boost numbers there by totally ignoring patients' wishes it happened to virtually all of my nct group.

They will want a lot of pee out of you - at every mw appointment. Also, I had blood taken at my mw booking appointment, 12 week scan and at 28 weeks.

This may all be different for you.

I am 38 weeks now and have no HV or Jill (BF consultant) Sad

Oh and my bounty pack was out of date and all the vouchers had expired. Waste of time.

I was advised to take folic acid and vit d by GP, after 12 weeks mw said I could just take vit d if I wanted to.

Plus your midwife should give you your form for the exemption card for prescriptions and dentist.

If you want to do nct classes, enquire soon and book after your 12 week scan, if your area is like mine they fill up v quickly.

CountryGal4 · 09/07/2015 07:33

Oh god. Nct?

DulcetMoans · 09/07/2015 07:36

National childbirth trust - antenatal classes but completely optional. You pay for them. Check what your NHS offers first and then decide.

My bounty vouchers were out of date too fleur!

Forgot to say - it's my due date! Happy Hypothetical birthday baby dulcet!

Fleurchamp · 09/07/2015 07:47

Ooh dulcet what are the stats - about 5% of babies born on their due date?!? I kind of figure my due date is the one day I can safely stray further from home Grin

Does this mean I am third on the list? wiggly dependent?

jellypi3 · 09/07/2015 07:55

Happy due date baby dulcet! :)

Has wiggly had her baby?

I have no idea what colour my notes are. I've not opened them since by booking appointment.

What stage did people start carrying their notes with them? My midwife said to take them everywhere but I feel a bit silly when I'm this early still.

My booking appointment was at 8 weeks, my 12w scan was booked for me by 6 weeks, and I've got the dates for my 16w check up already. My area seems really efficient despite having one of the worst hospitals in the country

I'm going to register for nct once my 12w scan is done I think.

Went to mamma's and pappa's on Tuesday after the scan and fell in love with the furniture in there. I think we are going to buy most of the essentials new, because we plan on having more so will reuse it later. Does that sound silly?

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 09/07/2015 08:02

Morning! When i had dd (different area) i didn't have to see a gp, just made a booking appointment for the midwife around 8 weeks. Here i have to see a gp first. I can't see the point really but you just have to go with it how it is in your area.

WilHarlot · 09/07/2015 08:04

Happy due date Dulcet Smile

Micro was born on her due date..... just sayin'... Wink

TotallyAnonymousUsername · 09/07/2015 08:06

Oh a ton of cross posts.

Happy due date dulcet

jelly i don't think that sounds silly. Add long as you're not spending money toy don't have, buy new if that's what you want. I would warn you that it won't necessarily survive to a second baby though. DD is still in her cot but it's held together with several extra screws and the drop side no longer works so I'll still have to get a new one for next baby.

DulcetMoans · 09/07/2015 08:11

It is 5% fleur - My DH favourite stat, but obviously that is still 5% and worked for wil! Nervous day. Not expecting too much today but you never know - I think my dates are pretty accurate so in theory it could be soon. Out for dinner tonight, due date party!

No news from wiggly yet but thinking she must have as she is well over now! You could be third fleur!

Buy whatever you like jelly, your money and your baby. Worth googling to see if you can get things cheaper once you know what you want, it's not always second hand. A few people here used 'pram centre' I think which is still new prams but cheaper than in shops, for example.

Purpleball · 09/07/2015 08:27

Happy due date Dulcet Smile

Bounty pack was a waste of time. I did get cot bed mattress via one of their emails then used the same company for cot bed, changer and drawer

Time is really flying round here! I can't believe I'm 29 weeks, dulcet is cooked, La almost cooked and Pud is 17 weeks after getting her bfp last week GrinGrinGrin

ChatEnOeuf · 09/07/2015 08:38

Jelly - she has, all okay - will let her tell all :)

jellypi3 · 09/07/2015 08:40

it's mental purple, i still don't believe how far along you all are (or believe that i'm almost 11 weeks).

Dulcet, in two weeks you will have a baby for certain. How awesome is that!!!

jellypi3 · 09/07/2015 08:40

Oh yay, thanks for the update chat :)

Fleurchamp · 09/07/2015 08:41

I know, pregnancy is a time warp - the first 12 weeks drag, then 12 - 20 seems to take an eternity too but from 28 weeks it flys by until mat. Leave starts and you start impatiently waiting for a sign that labour is beginning!

I am off out for a walk. Try and get this baby engaged Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 09/07/2015 09:13

Oooh, yay Wiggly!

LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 09:17

Happy dulcet day!!

C'mon minidulcet your eviction notice has been served, time to come out.

Purple that's fab that you enjoyed mummy natal Grin it's nice when you find a class that's right for you.

Mountain glad mini mountain is all good, you're never a time waster always ask if you're worried

JC I was like you about the decisions. Ended up making shortlist of ones we liked then going to shop to try them out. Was instantly obvious some weren't right for us so that helped

Toast how was dream genii??? Any joy? With our classes we pay for blocks til nearly due then pay as you go. Have fun tonight!

If you want to do links by the way you type then paste link then word for link like 'link here' followed by

So like mumsnet

Did chat say wiggly has popped? Hope she's ok

Ooh! That means I'm 2nd on list oh god! I remember being 20th!

Baby was all rumbly and felt unsteady at exercise class last night and then been v active all night (bad nights sleep boo!) but now all is calm again. Still in bed with the cats

Jelly I never took mat notes everywhere til 28 weeks when mw asked me if I was carrying them everywhere and told me off when I said no. But they are huge! So I normally leave in car when I go somewhere.

See if you have any baby stuff selling Facebook groups near you. I picked up Rialto mamas and papas cot bed for £40 and they are £275 new, it was fantastic condition !

Hi viroids,

Sorry I'm so late to the party, we went away to visit my family the next day, and on top of things being busy we've had some wifi issues.

Soo, a bit about myself... I'm 29, DP is 41, we have a 19mo DS, so this will be DC2. Started TTC in July last year, then had a BFP in Dec but mc in Jan @ 8w.

I'm 5w today, LMP 4th of June, making EDD 10th of March.

Sorry I'll post a bit more, DS is messing about instead of sleeping so need to sort him out now.

RhiannonElward · 09/07/2015 09:30

Ooh great news about Wiggly and Dulcet how exciting! Gx you get your nice meal and baby makes an appearance overnight :)

Wiggly's news puts me 10th on the list then! SHIT!

You lot are putting me to shame with all your exercising, I'm proud of myself if I managed to hoover without a breakWink I think I need to get a fitness DVD for the upduffed and exhausted. Anyone tried any they can recommend?

My notes are yellow! But they are covered in welsh vocabulary to use to speak to your baby so I was fairly sure you non-welsh viroids would have something different.

gaggiagirl · 09/07/2015 09:32

See facebook for pictures of baby wiggly I think that makes me 10th now.

gaggiagirl · 09/07/2015 09:36

Oh Rhiannon that would make me 9th! Woop!
Todays activity is taking my furious contrary ginger firework for her school photos. I'm also going to take my lightning struck HD box to a man to fix.
dulcet puuuuuuuush!

jellypi3 · 09/07/2015 10:07

Stupid fat cat kamakazied on to my stomach yesterday, i'm getting a few cramps today. Should I try to ignore it (nothing painful, just dull ache)

Purpleball · 09/07/2015 10:12

Jelly phone your midwife if you're worried. Are they like period pains?

OMFG I'm 7th! How did that happen?

oneyorkshirepud · 09/07/2015 10:13

Purple I know, I got my bfp like two weeks ago and now I'm 17 weeks, WTF?!?

Had my busiest day of the year yesterday (which is saying something). 13 hours at work too. It went really well but exhaustion = dizziness for me so today I am in bed.

Puuuuuuuush Dulcet!!

Welcome again newbies. We are all here for advice/hand holding. It is nice that there are four of you to go through this together though!
