Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 32nd grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 50th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates.

Jelly baby is well protected - my cats have jumped on and off all pregnancy. But phone if worried!

oneyorkshirepud · 09/07/2015 10:15

Jelly they are probably just normal cramps so try not to worry. Your midwife is there if you need her though.

oneyorkshirepud · 09/07/2015 10:16

When did you all get your free dentistry form? Need to get my teeth checked and won't see midwife now until end of August...

honeysucklejasmine · 09/07/2015 10:20

Could you get it from your GP or pharmacy Pud?

Lookingforadvice123 · 09/07/2015 10:22

Congrats carrotpuff! Think I remember you from the JS thread back in April?

pud I went to the dentist last week, the midwife told me just to take everything I have (my yellow file which I got at my dating scan) as you don't get the MatB form until 20+ weeks. They didn't even ask to look at it at the dentist reception but I had it with my as proof just in case!

So I'm off work sick again with yet another headache! Feel so guilty I never have time off sick and this is my 3rd day off when I know there's nothing wrong (I had 2 days off when I thought I might be mid carrying) but my job is very demanding at the mo so it's not like I can even go in and lie low. Praying these headaches stop soon Angry

LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 10:26

Ok viroids I have an embarrassing problem.

We decided to get cracking on the 'get baby out' mission. Unfortunately dh got bit carried away and stabbed me in the bits a bit hard. Ow.

Afterwards I went to loo and there's some blood on wiping and then a big gloopy thing at bottom of toilet. To make matters worse at that moment my body decided it needed a kamikaze mass poo exodus, complicated by the newly acquired piles. I am now in huge amounts of pain - and have no idea if said blood/gloopy thing was plug related.

I've stuck a pad in to see if anything else comes out. Got dh to look to see if there's a tear but he couldn't see anything other than blood.

Now feel sick and have sore bum and fanjo!!!!

Jeez...can you imagine the phone call to mw - 'um...we were trying to eject the baby and I may have torn or it may be plug, and I may have lost plug or it might've been jizz'

Confused

Pud I got given form for maternity exemption card at booking in appointment first pregnancy, second one they forgot to give me it. You could phone to ask gp?

SecondCupOfTea · 09/07/2015 10:36

I'm afraid I have no advice La but I do wish I hadn't been eating my breakfast when reading that post! Oh well, live and learn I guess

goodnessgraciousgouda · 09/07/2015 10:38

Sorry La I'm not sure what to suggest! I don't think it's likely that sex would result in any noticeable tearing though. Maybe you just lost some of your mucus plug? Those things can fuck off and grow back quite a few times, so not necessarily a sign of impending birth. The bowels evacuation sounds a bit more promising though. I guess just wait and see if you start getting cramps? You can always ring the midwife if worried. You don't have to tell her about the sex - just that you think you might have lost some of your plug.

Welcome newbies! Not sure who is here yet, but I will have a catch up.

On the accuracy of due dates, only god knows when mine is. According to the UK, it is early January, and according to France (who calculate full term as 42 weeks), it is 10 days later. Not very helpful!!!

On that note, if I am due two weeks after christmas (UK calculations), would I be crazy to go back to the UK for christmas? Just for a couple of days? We can take the train so no flying involved.

I didn't know that people carried their notes in the UK. Over here you have all your own medical records - blood test results, scan measurements, an official card with your blood type on it, your vaccination history...etc. Then you have to cart the whole lot around with you to every appointment Grin

LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 10:48

Oops sorry tea! Should've put a warning on that one...

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 10:49

You've gone from a thread focussing on ghost jizz and pant snot to one of swamp fanjo and mucus plugs. Not sure which is worse! Grin

honeysucklejasmine · 09/07/2015 10:51

La I would be phoning midwife I think!

LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 10:54

Gouda if you're going to go by train its going to be easier/less risk than flying, however if baby comes early obviously you could end up having it here. You'll be full term from 37 weeks so technically baby could come while you're away. I think it would be worth consulting mw about it.

bleeding stopped so think it was a tear.

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 10:55

Nah honey I think it's fine. Was just bloody sore! Note to self - perhaps take it easy next time

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 09/07/2015 10:56

Forgot to say hope you get better soon looking, and welcome carrot!

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 09/07/2015 10:56

Hey hey hey! No pushing yet! That could get tiring if I start now. Top of the list then. Shit.Shock

I'm still not carrying my notes with me - I'm never really that far from home!

That sounds a bit pluggy la, but obviously can't say for sure. Even if it is plug it doesn't mean anything is happening much so as long as you don't think it is anything dangerous you should be ok.

gouda, if the system over there is based on 42 weeks does that mean more people tend to go 'early'? Do they let people go later than 42 weeks?

All likelihood baby would be fine jelly, there's lots of internal padding. Do call someone if you want to talk it through though, MW will be able to tell you what to do for the best. These cats just don't understand.

Hi carrot!

jellypi3 · 09/07/2015 11:04

maybe it was still the plug la? exciting regardless :)

thanks everyone, it's kind of an ache, not period-painy and only on the side the cat jumped on, hoping it just a bit sensitive (luckily it wasn't the 7kg cat, only the 4kg one). I'll see how it goes and call mid-wife if it gets worse.

Talking of which, my midwife only works friday's and all other times suggest phoning A&E or Maternity...bit shit eh!

Gouda i wouldn't want to risk it but that's just me :)

honeysucklejasmine · 09/07/2015 11:22

I got my notes! It says in the letter to start filling in, so will do what I can! Very exciting.

Scan in 9 days!

oneyorkshirepud · 09/07/2015 11:31

Eep is that an early scan Honey you can't be 12 weeks already?!

SecondCupOfTea · 09/07/2015 11:33

Ooo, very exciting honey Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 09/07/2015 11:34

Lol yes Pud, 8+5 on scan day. now terrified after Carrots intro that I will miscarry before then.

I will not panic.

I will binge watch NCIS and eat rice pudding.

CountryGal4 · 09/07/2015 11:36

What will happen at my first mw appointment ? Will I get a scan?

SecondCupOfTea · 09/07/2015 11:39

Question for you, viroids.

Why are my knockers increasing in size so rapidly and so early? I mean what sodding biological reason could there be for them to expand at such an alarming rate? Three weeks ago, my black hoody fit me well, now there is a 2-3 inch boob-level gap between the left and right side of the zip, and I'm not even at the five week mark yet!

Indigoblue2 · 09/07/2015 11:40

Welcome to the new grads! We need some new grads, loads of grads are popping and becoming graduated grads Smile

Happy due date dulcet you lovely thing! Dead exciting, can't believe you're top of the list. There's only la, fleur and then I'm fourth - fuck an actual duck!! BlushBlush Suppose I better pack a bag.

la I reckon that does sound a bit like plug, hopefully it is and minila is planning his great escape. At least your MW can't accuse you of not trying.

The whole "due date" thing perplexes me. I had heard France have a different gestational thing than us. In my area they like to induce you at 40+12 if you want to, which is before you are classed as "term" in France then as dulcet says? Does anybody know what the idea of inducing to manage risk is based on? I asked my fucking incompetent midwife and she gave me a crappy good for nothing answer like every answer she gives me and I'm still unaware of what the risk is really. If you have daily monitoring to check fluid levels etc, does this mitigate the "risk"? I was hoping for a "your risk to the baby rises by X for each week beyond your due date based on a study by ..." or something. With horses ( I know I know, it's getting boring) you get a smacked hand from a decent repro/therio vet if you say your horse has a "due date". The answer they give you is that a horse has a healthy gestational range of 320-370 days, of which 340/342 (which people class as the "due date") is merely an average of an average. I know you must extrapolate between species smacks own hand!!

Purpleball · 09/07/2015 11:41

Country they will ask loads of questions. No scan though. They will want a wee sample probably. Takes a good hour. Have a think about questions in advance

La it sounds pluggish to me but I'm no expert. Hope the soreness stops soon though or else ramps up and becomes labour Smile

NFMLA - whooping cough jab site is ok. Bit bruised and achy but nowhere near as bad as flu jab
