Phew, thanks teenie. I'm due to go back there on Monday to have bloods taken and wasn't sure whether to ask - didn't want to look like an idiot but also REALLY don't want to go through them again or have any delays. It looks like I'll be living at the hospital anyway, as well as the usual appointments, tests and scans I have extra for twins - consultants, extra scans, more bloods, GTT plus I have to see a specialist anaesthesiologist (am not sure I spelt that right) as they were unable to get an epidural into my back last time and I'll need one with twins plus I've asked for a specialist and early referral to a feeding specialist as I had an awful time breastfeeding last time and am scared of how it will go with twins. So all twin related I suppose but I'm going to be there more often than not!

Wow, finally caught up on the thread, you lot have been busy as always :) Congratulations on all the scans, soooo cute and you're making me quite jealous over here (mine's still 2 and a half weeks away - I'm quite worried that I'll get there and things will have gone wrong since the 8 week scan, I think we all worry though!).

10+2 today and still feeling queasy but have had a relatively 'good' week morning sickness wise. Still shattered and having a daily nap. OH has surpassed himself this week; I haven't done a single bit of housework, can't remember the last time I cooked a meal and he even did the food shopping while I had a nap. Definitely a keeper!!

frozen Sorry to hear about the elevated risk, but that's great they're referring you for the Harmony so you can get some definite answers. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm over the moon as it turned out that there is a bean still hanging in me! :) sonographer was very quiet and when she said "there is only one baby" I was like: what? there is a baby there? is there??!! then my belly had some convulsions from my crying spasms ;) but the little bean wasn't bother and didn't move at all. sonogr. did manage to take measurements and she couldn’t see anything that would cause bleeding. so everything looks fine! also we saw the HB!
it is still very unbelievable though that there is a little life growing in me..

blackandwhite that sounds good! Can't wait to go and have a tour!! I think it's the best option for MLU as the actual labour ward is downstairs so don't need ambulance trip if we need transferred! What's yoUr EDD again!! Birthing buddies :-)

So sorry you are going through worry Frozen. Glad that at least you should get an answer with the harmony test.

Sorry for the radio silence - have had a crazy busy couple of days!

12 week scan went really well, 5.5cm, 1.4mm Nuchal measurement and 6 Jan due date confirmed...it was mainly asleep but then wiggled legs and arms around for a while. Very cool! We have another scan next week with harmony results, I feel very greedy on the scan front! But after that don't think there'll be another until 20 weeks (Teenie: that's on 24th Aug).

100% hospital birth for me and likely an elective c-section (private).

Not sure I'm going to do NCT as I've heard in my area it's really preachy and all pro-natural everything; not really up DH and my street! Also I probably am only taking 4 months for mat leave and already have great friends in my area so not sure I really need to do it.

Frozen - this happened to friends of mine. Remember in 46 out of 47 cases in your position, there is no problem. Thinking of you and very best of luck for the stressful next couple of weeks xxx

frozen My dads friend had this result then went for futher testing with had even greater odds that the baby may have down syndrome but then the baby was born with completely nothing wrong with it totally healthy. I know its a very scary time but keep positive x

So, I'm a pretty impatient kinda girl, and as much as I wanted to go with the flow, I folded and got myself a private scan to check in on the twins. Best decision ever, both fine, growing away. One sleepy (twin A or 1), one wriggler (twin B or 2). I'm so happy! Just a bit too small to do the NT, but that is in just under 2 weeks.

I've been on hols for a week and just got back, so haven't caught up with the thread yet, but I'm 11 + 1 and symptoms have pretty much gone. Has anyone else had this? I'm stressing. I don't remember this last time.

I've done a heck of a lot of sleeping on holiday, which generally makes me feel less sick anyway, but nausea almost gone. Tiredness is trickier to compare because I've been having afternoon naps.

Scan not till a week on Monday, so I'm stressing..

Loving the lovely scan news everyone! Dragged DH to mothercare today to look at double buggies (we won't buy til later but wanted to play!) he immediately went to the one I love that he'd previously completely dismissed, so bloody contrary! But YAY get my buggy choice!

Saw lots of young babies on flights today and massively broody.. Including a cute crawler and gorgeous twin boys.

Struggling to get my head around being a mum of 2 in a few months. Really need the scan to be sure.

is anyone going to go private for the 16/17w gender scan? I don't think I'll be able to wait between the 12w and the 20w scans.. i cant stop looking at my scan pic from yesterday im in love hehe Luckly i only have 2 weeks till my next one

blackandwhite so cool that we are due around the same time!! IHave a place on NCT reserved but waiting for scan on Monday to confirm place!! I don't know anyone else around here that's pregnant so wanted to do it just to meet people!! Already finding pregnany a pretty lonely place .....
