Sorry to hear your news frozen, hope the harmony test can ease some of your worry.
I am the quiet one sitting in the middle of the bus with my head in a book, but I have been listening in to all the conversations and this group has really helped me feel better about everything that's happening.
I do have a bit of a moany story though. Last week I had my contact lense check so I told the optician I'm pregnant as they usually but this chemical thing in my eye and I didn't know if it was ok. She said it was fine, but didn't use it anyway and said that my vision test was coming up soon, but that pregnancy can make your eyes worse so didn't recommend I do it. Then afterwards the shop assistant asked me about getting new glasses and when my vision test is so I told her I was pregnant and probably wouldn't have it because of what the optician said about pregnancy affecting my eyes. She burst out laughing really loud in my face 'pahahahaha!' like it was the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard and I had made it up or something. It really annoyed me, and I don't even know why! It seems that everyone has to have an opinion about pregnancy and they are certain that what they know of it is the 'right' way. It put me off telling anyone else, so now I am back in the closet until after my scan and / or start showing more (although have told close family and close friends and my line manager at work as needed some time off). Only a week and a bit now to 12 wk scan on 7th July first thing in the morning.
