I'm the same missM. Leroy undoing top button in the car, forgetting, then getting out and trying to walk off with my jeans falling round my arse. Every time!

fishermanswife1 · 06/07/2015 13:12

Keep... not Leroy.... There is no strange man called Leroy undoing my top buttons. For the record. Stupid phone

SleepyDragon · 06/07/2015 13:44

I just got some maternity 'jeggings' from Matalan for £10..... Ohhhh the comfort!!!!!

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 13:45

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 13:46

sleepy ooh i was thinking of looking there. . aparently newlook it good!? i just got some off an ebay shop! £4.50 Smile

FizzyPinkWine · 06/07/2015 13:53

Hotcross, it's good to know I'm not alone! Hoping it gets better soon. Hope you feel better too. My mum keeps saying it must be a girl! So, maybe she's right!

SleepyDragon · 06/07/2015 13:56

Yes MissM amongst the pants thing she said my SIL said all her maternity gear was from New Look!

I bought the jeggings in my normal size and they're actually a bit big but least it means there's room to grow and it's so much comfier than my jeans!

Tonicandgin · 06/07/2015 14:19

Had my scan!!! The little bean was all over the place - bounding around. Sonographer said it was a good sign which made me feel much better especially because we'd decline the NT test.

Scary that we might have one that's overly energetic when dd wasn't like that at 12 wks but has always been crackers. How on earth will I cope with 2..

Glad other scans have gone well.

Tonicandgin · 06/07/2015 14:20

She actually said she'd struggle to do the NT test if we'd wanted it as it wouldn't stay still long enough.

melonface · 06/07/2015 14:46

Great news on the scans everyone! Mine is in 8 days and I'm counting the hours....

How's everyone's tiredness levels? I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow and I can barely keep my eyes open. Really struggling as have to do a lot of driving for work and have had some scary sleepy moments on the motorway Confused

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 14:57

oh gosh melon you be careful x

Blackandwhitecat3 · 06/07/2015 15:03

Sorry to hear you got the bug MissMartin hope you're resting up.

I haven't taken folic acid since about 12 and half weeks, mostly because last week I wasn't getting anything down at all.

fishermanswife1 · 06/07/2015 15:21

Great scan news Toni!

I think the main thing is to try and have a balanced diet missM. If you're struggling to take the pills and are worried, maybe try googling foods with folic acid. I know avocado is a great source (and if lots of other good stuff - besides being lush).

Speaking of a balanced diet... My pathetic lunch of all I fancied - cherry tomatoes, 3 tuck biscuits, 2 packets of salt and vinegar crisps, 2 x petit filous and can of dandelion and burdock - definitely covers the main food groups right? Blush

TeenieDeenie · 06/07/2015 15:27

Melon I'm 10+4 and exactly the same. I need to get some eye stickers to put on my eyelids so I can have a sleep at my desk lol. In all seriousness though, do take care on the motorways!

I was quite proud of my lunch today. I had a homemade egg bake (eggs, milk, a little cheese baked in the oven), homegrown spinach and carrot sticks. Very healthy, very balanced.

Then I had 1/2 a Terry's chocolate orange and I bet the rest doesn't survive the evening.

Tonicandgin · 06/07/2015 15:32

Crikey Melon! Take care.

I'm shattered and having daily naps but I'm not sleeping well at night (whether I nap or not). So tired..

lilyb84 · 06/07/2015 15:50

Congrats on the scans spooble and tennis!

MissMartin I don't have anything approaching a bump yet but some clothes are getting tight and I ordered some maternity work trousers from New Look (which is my retailer of choice anyway as I'm cheap and hate buying clothes) - they're super comfy! So I'll definitely be exploring more of their maternity range when I'm in need of it!

Melon please be careful - is there any way you can avoid all the driving or try to fit in more naps?

I had an actual salad for lunch and other than a small bit of cake have managed to avoid unhealthy snacking as large meals / overeating is NOT agreeing with me at the mo. Feeling proud... and hungry... Grin

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 16:07

tonic great news about your scan Grin
bet your over the moon x

MissMartin10 · 06/07/2015 16:30

lily I've just been looking on line they have quite a good collection Grin

fishermanswife1 · 06/07/2015 16:31

Be careful moon.
I'm also eating prunes and plenty of 'em. No prizes for guessing why.

Got a serious case of the Mondays having laid awake all night worrying about work. Really not enjoying it at the moment. Roll on maternity leave! But strapped on some pregnancy balls, alla b&wcat and emailed bosses to ask for a staff meeting to discuss some issues and concerns I have. Now feel like crying.... Damn hormones

kep1979 · 06/07/2015 17:00

Hi all, back from my scan and was lovely. Bean was jumping about and she just wouldn't keep still. Plus it looked like she had hiccups! I was actually measuring one day ahead so my due date is now 15 January (teenie can you please update the stats?) I am so relieved. Plus got some cute pics. Now to tell the world tomorrowGrin - well justwork and those friends who don't know and most importantly my two boys. I am soooooo excited!

Was having a look to see if nub theory confirmed she is a she - have no idea what i'm looking for though!

Ahhhh lovely clear piccie Kep

I was googling Nub Theiry yesterday and i think yours may be team pink...

If the nub is straight up its supposed to be a boy if it's at an angle of 30 degrees and Lower its a girl (apparently)

If I'm looking at the right but the nub looks pretty low to me!

Tonicandgin · 06/07/2015 17:20

Brilliant news Kep! My dd was updated too and we're due date buddies!

15th Jan!

lilyb84 · 06/07/2015 17:27

Brilliant, kep, and such a lovely clear scan!

I've paid zero attention to nub theories so far but having had a quick look on Google I'm with sleepy - looks like the theory might work on this occasion for your little girl! Although that could just be because I already know the answer... Smile

melonface · 06/07/2015 17:32

Wow kep what a lovely picture!

Thanks for your concern ladies it's good to have you looking out for me! I'm going to get the train wherever possible now.

My GP have just rang me to say the urine sample I gave last week shows I have an infection so that probably explains all the pains this week! Had anyone else had one in early pregnancy before? Apparently they don't treat unless you have symptoms?
