Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Wow cym, that's a bit of a mission! You were crowning and they didn't know? You're a solider! Hope you're getting into the swing of it.

Great news from your scan purple, does that mean you have a name sorted now?

This is the final test of patience now niff, you're so close!

Good luck with the scans niff and purple! Can't wait to hear all about them Smile

Wow cym well done - and you must be a bit of a superhero to look after 4 little people, just 1 is freaking me out! I bet it's a very fun house though.

Last night when I woke up twice for a pee I felt like I had such a heavy stomach, I need to find a way to wedge my pillow under it! Can't imagine how it will feel when it gets bigger!

batfish · 30/06/2015 10:49

Oh sorry I had the thread open for a while before I replied and it must have been before purple posted - how lovely, a little boy! No longer team purple!

Pisghetti · 30/06/2015 10:50

Great birth story Cym!

La I'm almost exclusively bags at the moment. BabyPis was wasting loads from a 6oz pot every time we tried her with a bottle so I use a pot to express then split it between two bags. She can take 3oz quite happily and then if she seems to want more we can get another one, if not then it doesn't get wasted Smile when she starts taking more I'll use the pots again as we use the Avent Via pots which you can just attach the teat to. I have been lucky in being able to express a fair amount quite quickly (provided BabyPis is in the room - all the better if she's feeding from the other side) but I read something on our local bf page recently that suggested it was the fit of the pump that was on my side - I can link to it if anyone is interested? You can usually buy different size inserts if your pump isn't doing it for you.

Jcandy · 30/06/2015 11:11

Yay for team blue purple!Grin glad he finally behaved!!

Hope its going well niff

Midwife appointment went fine Smile got to hear the heartbeat so I recorded it for DP Smile My GP has signed me off for another 2 weeks so more resting for me. Just wish I wasn't trying to fight off a migraine then I could actually sit outside for a bit in this glorious sunshine

ZylaB · 30/06/2015 11:12

la I just use bags. I middle of the night pump gets me about 120-140ml, approx 4-4.5oz? Which is a full little bottle, and still does H for a feed most of the time, even at nearly 5 months.

pis interesting to hear about the pump fit, I'd like to get more off, but I suspect I don't because I'm too lazy to pump regularly, so my supply gas adapted to need H's needs, not hers AND pumping :)

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 11:48

Thank you and yes please to pump info. My friend has given me a manual t tippee pump am going to see how it goes to see if a swing would work better. I'll just stick with the bags then.

Hooray for hb and being signed off JC! Now - rest!!

Bat have you got a maternity pillow. The dream genii has been fantastic for me

honeysucklejasmine · 30/06/2015 11:56

Good news Purple!

So, apparently thyroid and liver function all fine, but my full blood count is "borderline". So they requested I see a GP. My stipulation of " any time, any day" resulted in the first available... Next Thursday. So, doctor types... Presumably I am just a bit anaemic?

honeysucklejasmine · 30/06/2015 11:58

Of course I SHOULD have asked for a print out.... Will go back and get it later.

gaggiagirl · 30/06/2015 12:04

Ooh all appointments going well so far.

Niffertiti · 30/06/2015 12:33

Phew, scan all good.GrinGrinGrin
Microniff measuring 12+4 so EDD has come forward a bit. All the right bits in the right places. Was doing an amazing stretching and wriggling routine, it's amazing it's dancing away in there and I can't even feel it! Waiting for results of combined NT test still but nuchal fold measurements normal.

Scan pic over on FB.

Oh my god viroids I am exhausted... I might need a little nap, didn't get much sleep last night.

honeysucklejasmine · 30/06/2015 12:50

Yay Niff! Congratulations!

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 12:59

Awwwww...congrats niff!!! Such a relief for you :)

I just had an email from my latest new line manager at work, querying why I've held 7 days annual leave back to carry over. Since I got pregnant I've had THREE line managers and the annual leave carry over was agreed with the first one and confirmed agreed with second one. Now I'm having to yet again justify it! Just had to phone him to explain that this is what was agreed, hence I didn't take it already :(

Honestly you wonder sometimes how places get anything done...

Purpleball · 30/06/2015 13:10

Great birth story Cym Smile hope the chicken pox are gone soon

Consultants are happy. Baby is measuring big, 1600g when should be 1100g but they aren't concerned. Leg is slightly lower, abdomen is over. So it's a short fat boy! Last HBA1c was 5.6 so I'm keeping in control of blood sugars.
Anti D stung a bit but has been ok since Smile

They will be putting me on injections to prevent thrombosis at 34 weeks, but as I'm already on insulin ones it's no big deal

She said that as I'm having an ELCS there is no reason to bring the baby earlier than 38 weeks just because it's measuring big - it's better for its breathing to stay put as long as poss.

BP was normal and no protein so my fears of Pre Eclampsia so far are unfounded. If I'm worried I'm to go see the midwife for a BP check

So I'm calm at the moment Smile

Jcandy · 30/06/2015 13:11

Yay niff! It's amazing isn't it!

That's so annoying la! You think they would have written it down somewhere!

RhiannonElward · 30/06/2015 13:19

Lovely news everyone, congrats to all who had scans today. Purple hoorah for giggleberries Grin

How are you doing now La? Any more symptoms to report?

Cym you are clearly a hero and when I think about how busy you must be at home with four, I get dizzy on your behalf. Hope you're managing to rest.

honeysucklejasmine · 30/06/2015 13:21

La did you manage to explain without a tone of "you're so incompetent" coming through? Wink

gaggiagirl · 30/06/2015 13:33

Lots of good news!

mountaingirl01 · 30/06/2015 13:52

Congratulations NIFF! And purple lol to twig and giggleberries Grin
honey most probable explanation :) get me those read outs!
cym wow 6 mins pushing? You are my new hero

So was sent for growth scan as was measuring really small. Turns out mini mountain is actually not so mini after all. They looked up the results of my gtt which were fine, but are going to re scan in 2 weeks with the possibility of putting me consultant led instead. Finding it all really upsetting tbh.

Jcandy · 30/06/2015 13:57

If minimountain isn't small like they thought why are they thinking about consultant led care?

All seems good then purple Smile

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 14:14

That's strange mountain- is her being larger than expected not a good thing?

LaLaLaaaa · 30/06/2015 14:15

That's great news purple - now stop worrying! Grin

Twinges have stopped but I'm just about to see midwife so we'll find out if miniLa is in place or not!

mountaingirl01 · 30/06/2015 14:24

It's because not only is she not small, she's actually a lot bigger than she should be. That along with my continuing glycosuria means they are going to treat me as diabetic, despite the gtt looking OK.

gaggiagirl · 30/06/2015 14:28

Oh mountain that's really difficult. Can you tell them no? But baby mountain is ok though, yes?

Jcandy · 30/06/2015 14:31

Oh mountain that's rubbish. Are they going to repeat your gtt to make sure?
