Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Ooh la home stretch now! I symptom spotted like a fiend from 38 weeks (think i subjected most of you with every nuance and twinge...) but I def got the reflux, and the poo feeling, and the crampy period pain thing.... Have Pom poms out for you!
Would def def recommend a bottle of distilled witch hazel for your fridges viroids, even if you don't have stitches, it is super cooling for other areas, and I've been using it in a spritz bottle (got a couple of empty ones in boots) on my face while I've been doing night feeds - night sweats in this weather are no joke! Plus having hot little baby laying on you feeding is enough to make anyone melt.
I felt like I lost time between 22-35 weeks. It just went so quickly, and believe me when they arrive it goes so fast too! it's three weeks since I went into Labour, which seems bonkers.

LaLaLaaaa · 29/06/2015 17:48

It's all calm here now? No more twinges so think it was definitely wind!

Got my fan ready for next two days of heat wave, will be pointed up skirt at all times.

Aqua nails chat - nice! I don't have any weddings this year. Last year I wore same dress to two unrelated ones, it's great when you can get away with it til the pics appear on Facebook

Dh has gone prep mad - he's just mowed lawn, hoovered house, weeded garden, groomed cat, swept patio. Am doing lots of positive reinforcement telling him it's good!

Ok bag is packed except for the last minute toothbrush/phone charger stuff. Baby clothes ironed yesterday are now in drawers. Got big pile still to iron but then I'm done.

Tee I'm loving your tips! Got my badedas ready for post birth stitches but will grab witch hazel and put mat pads in fridge.

When there we no twinges I'm certain this baby is going to be overdue. I've thought that the whole way through, so I'm going to keep thinking that and stop symptom spotting

Cats have decided snuzpod is now theirs. Hmmm..don't know how to break this to them

LaLaLaaaa · 29/06/2015 17:50

Pud it could be! My DM first felt me move when she leant against sink and I kicked to say 'get off!'

2nd tri to early third was when I felt the most 'well' and enjoyed being pg. I do still love the wriggliness and will totally miss this baby inside me, but I will be so relieved to be able to get out of bed easily again after its born

Jcandy · 29/06/2015 18:00

Ooo pud that's exciting! It's so strange isn't it. I just want to know if it was. Not felt it since...

Sounds like you're ready la Smile hope you don't have to wait too long

I really feel for you first and third trimester viroids in this heat! It's only causing me to have a headache but it would be awful with nausea or hot sweats!

jellypi3 · 29/06/2015 18:07

Tbh the heat is just making me more sleepy. But my nausea has been minimal.

It's exciting you folks are getting movements. Can't wait for that stage!

pud I've set little goals. My next scan is a week tomorrow, then I'll be 12 weeks on 18th July, and my 12w scan is 3 weeks tomorrow. So little steps :)

I was thinking how circular pregnancy is (no pun intended). You spend the firs two weeks symptom spotting like mad with the goal of getting a bfp. Then you have 8 week wait where you are neurotic worried about everything. Then you have the second 8 week week between 12 weeks and 20 weeks. Then you have the 20 weeks wait between 20 weeks and due date. Then you have a two week wait until you can deffo meet your baby. Then you symptom spot for signs of labour. Circles init Grin

DulcetMoans · 29/06/2015 18:28

Circles jelly, and waiting. Always waiting!

I don't feel as ready as la. I am not egging anything on, I can't imagine the baby being here and it's totally unknown so it's easier to just think it will live inside forever! I agree with you tee, 22-35 wks just disappeared! I can't believe it.

Could absolutely be movements pud, I remember something similar when I was on my side and there was some knocking but not sure when it was!

Can you start trying straight away chat? You can symptom spot with us too if you are! We will all send you positive vibes!

LaLaLaaaa · 29/06/2015 18:30

Jelly that's very well put!!

Pud and JC it'll not be long til you get regular movements - I had them by 24 weeks. Then you start being neurotic about NOT feeling them Wink

LaLaLaaaa · 29/06/2015 18:34

Dulcet I think I'm just an impatient person tbh!

Having said that I've spent the last week in fear of going early, because I wasn't ready and all the July thread babies seemed to be coming early. Now I'm not reading that thread so much anymore I feel like the pressure has gone, plus we've done all the major jobs and I've finished my work handover notes. So if baby comes now I feel more ready.

I don't think it will dawn on me until I'm handed my baby that there's an actual person in there and I'm going to be a mum.

Jcandy · 29/06/2015 18:37

Oh crap I'm actually gonna be a mum! ! ConfusedGrin

Haha jelly circles innit Smile

Purpleball · 29/06/2015 18:38

Ladies at what point do reduced movements cause concern?
Purplebaby hasn't moved much at all today. I was busy all day and hade a couple of anxiety attacks which I know reduces movement. He is moving a bit now, I'm at the hospital for a scan at 9am tomorrow. I just can't decide if I'm worrying unnecessarily and I can't find where it says at what point is a concern
I'm 28 weeks tomorrow

Fleurchamp · 29/06/2015 18:44

purple go with your gut - do you think movements are reduced/ different? I know that if I am running around I don't feel my little one move much but if worried I know I can lay on my left side and this will usually start off some kicking.

If you are worried then definitely get checked out.

Fleurchamp · 29/06/2015 18:45

Also, I think I remember being told that's movements do not become regular until around 28 weeks anyway.

DulcetMoans · 29/06/2015 18:58

Yeah, try laying on your side for an hour and drinking a cold drink purple. See if you can persuade baby to move.

honeysucklejasmine · 29/06/2015 19:00

I suck at waiting. I am really seriously crap at being patient. Oh well. Always time to learn I guess!

Purpleball · 29/06/2015 19:12

Thanks I just panicked. Had a cold drink and lay down. He's moved quite a bit now. Weirdly a lot of the movements are more obvious from outside if I have my hand on my bump
I have been sat at a desk all day and busy so probably not paying attention to what he's doing - I think I've just not noticed
He's often quiet in the afternoons

Purpleball · 29/06/2015 19:27

La you sound like you're ready Smile, you're fully cooked so hopefully minila won't keep you waiting another 4 weeks Smile

Dulcet, I don't do patience either

I'm impatient to meet my baby now but at the same time keep freaking out a bit that there will be an actual baby here in 10 weeks time! It's all good though I do love being pregnant apart from the anxiety.
It seems that a few on the September thread are also having anxiety issues and mood swings a I'm glad it's not just me!

oneyorkshirepud · 29/06/2015 19:48

Yep you are going to be a mama JC! Eep! Grin

Glad everything is okay Purple.

Eris update: she didn't lose any weight yesterday (Yes!) and ate a fair bit in small meals. Has eaten less today and has had diarrhoea on her own leg, had to give her a bath, could not avoid the poo it was a two person job! so I'm concerned that she will have lost weight again today. She has finished her course of panacur now so I am hoping the poop is her getting rid of the last of whatever is bothering her. Think we are in for the long haul with this one just wish I didn't have to go to work so I could look after her full time. Pretty sure that is not a reason for time off though.

jellypi3 · 29/06/2015 19:53

Aww poor eris. Is she eating the chicken pud? Remember she needs really bland food at the moment, her poor stomach must be so fragile

honeysucklejasmine · 29/06/2015 19:56

Oh poor lovely. Sad She's really going through the mill at the moment.

ChatEnOeuf · 29/06/2015 20:16

Nope Dulcet, have to wait another 3 weeks. My last battery of bloods can only be done at 6w post del, and then there's Tiny's PM and genetics results to come. Not expecting to hear anything that would prevent us cracking straight on, but it would be foolish to conceive, and then find out I could do something to reduce the risk of recurrence. So I'm curbing my impatient side as best I can with a v exciting research project...which I will of course continue regardless of what goes on in my womble Wink

Great to hear about these first movements, glad purplebaby is awake this evening too.

oneyorkshirepud · 29/06/2015 20:19

Yep she is just on boiled chicken and a tiny bit of the nutrient paste (half a teaspoon a day, just a tiny bit on the chicken as it makes her want to eat it.) Hoping the diarrhoea is either the last of her gut rot or the panacur.

Purpleball · 29/06/2015 20:59

Keeping everything crossed for you Chat Thanks

Pud hope the kitty rallies soon

We're celebrating 28 weeks by a trip to the hospital in the morning. It's Anti-D injection followed by growth scan and both consultants.
Hoping I don't get a hard time from the diabetic one again.

Mil just txt to see how I am and how I'm coping in the heat Smile

deeplybaffled · 29/06/2015 21:12

Good luck, purple - I've got a consultant appt tomorrow as well to see if they want to carry on with the serial growth scans, now that the abdominal circumference has come up from 8th to 38th centile. Have to say that i rather hope that they will carry on, but will have to see.
lord, wish the pollen count would drop! Feeling most snotty, and bet I'm not allowed to take the mega strong antihistamines which are the only thing that usually work. Bah.Hmm

gaggiagirl · 29/06/2015 21:26

Good luck purple and deeply let us know how you get on.
I've got a midwife appt tomorrow. I'm not sure why cos I'm 26 weeks and I don't need a 25 week primip appt cos I'm a second timer so it should be 28 weeks. Meh I'm sure it'll be a canny trip out anyway.

LaLaLaaaa · 29/06/2015 21:40

Keep needing to poo. Like desperate poo where I have to run to toilet. Sharp sore cramps accompanying said poo.

Is this another bizarre stage of pregnancy?
