Avoiding accidental golden showers and unsolicited bump touching while enjoying the gamble of the poo-lottery and apparently getting more massive by the day - JSer grads 31!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

...chicken and pate has made a reappearance. Poor little kitty. Going to try her with tiny bits every hour once she feels a bit better. Currently asleep. Sad

LaLaLaaaa · 27/06/2015 15:11

Pud - try just the chicken on its own, tiny bits at a time. The pate might be bit rich. Poor wee love it's so hard when they're tiny as if their stomach is not settled they bring everything up. I've been there and can understand how you feel. My wee old cat Rosie was found on streets at 9 weeks and we had terrible trouble getting food to stay down. Keep it as bland as you can. As long as she is getting fluids she will hopefully be ok, dehydration is more serious.

LaLaLaaaa · 27/06/2015 15:13

The supplement paste should balance her stomach too - it acts as a probiotic to coat the lining and top up the good bacteria. Poor wee girl. We use it on puppies and kittens

jellypi3 · 27/06/2015 15:38

Yeh I'd keep her on plain chicken and if she's got an upset stomach then some pumpkin or butternut squash mixed in, it's just helps bind her up a bit. And as la said a good pro biotic paste to replace her vitamins.

Hope she's ok!

LaLaLaaaa · 27/06/2015 15:58

Ooh I've never tried pumpkin - do they like it jelly? I normally mix boiled rice in to bulk it out and help digestion, but that's quite an old method I think

LaLaLaaaa · 27/06/2015 16:53

I have a fan pointing up my skirt. My neighbour has a paddling pool and I hate him right now because I am so jealous. He's pretending it's for his son but I know it's not.

Do you think it would look weird if I bought one just for me to sit in this week? Would neighbours think I was a bit odd sitting cross legged in a paddling pool by myself? Or is this perfectly justifiable?

I have no ice cream either. Why is there is no ice cream in my house? Who lets things slide this far in life, to the point where there is no ice cream? The shopping came this morning - how could I have forgotten to buy ice cream? What kind of person has pregnancy made me into?

DH's present to me of the fan that sprays water at you doesn't seem so daft now...

LaLaLaaaa · 27/06/2015 17:03

Seriously - do you think he would mind if I climbed over and sat in it for a bit?

WilHarlot · 27/06/2015 17:12

Totally buy the paddling pool. As an added bonus you can use it to recreate the Nirvana album cover once baby arrives.

Fleurchamp · 27/06/2015 17:13

DH has just spent an hour queuing at homebase to buy a garden umbrella. Poor man. The sun's gone in now Smile

We do have ice cream but I have been told that it's for the BBQ we are having tomorrow. The BBQ that we will be having in the rain Sad

Indigoblue2 · 27/06/2015 17:32

Lol wil!!!! GrinGrin

la to be fair you could actually do that in the birthing pool if DH is quick enough with the camera. Dunno if the background will be crystal clear blue water though, we might just get a background composed of your giant post birth foof Blush

honeysucklejasmine · 27/06/2015 17:51

La totally get a paddling pool. DH wants to refill the hot tub. Perhaps we can keep it cold though!

I have to say I am glad I will be heavily pregnant in winter, not Summer. I hate being too hot.

DulcetMoans · 27/06/2015 18:00

Didn't tee get a swimming pool? I can't remember now. Do it anyway la! A weeks worth of wallowing will be lovely plus you can use it with the baby in the future.

Is there not enough ice cream for today and tomorrow fleur?

Sorry kitten still not doing well pud. My old boy had the calorific paste stuff and normally did well with it. Little and often sounds like a good approach. Fingers crossed for you!!

Nice idea! Nirvana front cover happening in my lady garden!

Ordered Dominos pizza just so that I can get someone to deliver ice cream to my house. Not even hungry, just want ice cream.

Hot tub...forgot you had one of those honey!!! Ooooh! Will you still use it during pregnancy? Can you bring the temperature down in it?

My dm phoned and all I could do was make grunting noises - everything else requires energy.

Jcandy · 27/06/2015 18:28

Haha la definitely get a pool and also good shout on the dominos!

I'm so glad I made watermelon ice lollies last week now!

Hobbit19 · 27/06/2015 18:32

Ha ha La I was going to post that I was disappointed in you and your lack of icecream, but ordering dominoes just to get icecream delivered to your house it genius!!! Oh, and definitely get a paddling pool. We got one for the heat wave two years ago and just sat in it drinking beer, lush! (I am really missing beer in this hot weather, is there any decent non alcoholic stuff?)

Honey, I just thought that you only stopped the hottub relatively recently I wondered if that helped with the upduffness?

Thanks for the hand holding through the kitten trauma, very much appreciated. We have gone for little and often with plain chicken this arvo and touch wood it has not reappeared as yet. I dipping each piece of chicken in water to try and get some more fluid in her and I'm feeding her tiny amount of the nutrient paste also. Come on little Eris!

WilHarlot · 27/06/2015 18:44

Oh I really hope she starts eating Pud!

Watermelon ice lollies sound amazing. Would love one right now.

Indigo Grin Grin I think that may end up being a very different photo!

Hayfever sucks.

teejayem · 27/06/2015 19:03

I did get a pool! It was one of my inspired Costco pregnancy purchases... I can't find it on their website but it was £23 (!) although I did get it in March.

This is the same one, Mr tee is getting it down for me tomorrow, our hose is an under sink affair and has shite water pressure so I'm going to have it filling on Monday in time for the midweek heat.

In the meantime I'm about to lose my shit with mil. TT is cluster feeding and we've been on it since about 4pm. She's here and wants a cuddle Hmm I've popped out with him between changing sides to say hi, but I'm not prepared to play pass the bloody baby today, and she started telling me he obvs wasn't getting enough milk if he is continuously feeding. I'm actually fizzing. God she's a dick.

maemay · 27/06/2015 19:06

Definitely get a pool La! You can cool your feet off in it now, sipping your Schloer Pimms (see below), and then baby can play in it too (or fill it with plastic balls for indoor fun!

Honey that was my thought too re winter pregnancy. Though it'll mean we have to buy more clothes to fit over bump. My winter coat won't do up, and will need jumpers and leggings (as well as the usual tops etc), whereas could easily get away with just floaty dresses/tops in Summer.

Schloer did a "summer fruit punch" version last year which is basically non-alcoholic Pimms and it is scrummy!! Scouring the supermarkets for it this year though and haven't found it. Maybe it was a limited edition one-off.

Re hayfever, Prevalin is safe for use in pregnancy. It's a nasal spray with no active ingredients. It forms a gel on the lining of your nose to stop the allergens attaching your glands or receptors or whatever it is that you have inside your nose. Boots and Superdrug do Prevalin.

honeysucklejasmine · 27/06/2015 19:28

Re hot tub. We stopped it in April as we had seen a study suggesting it was cooking DH's soldiers, and that spermatozoa take 3-4 months to develop. Study showed count of healthy sperm increased by about 400% after a few months of no hot tub. And sure enough, 2.5 months later, upduffed. Of course we can't prove that's why. But yay! He does want to fill it up again, but I'm not so sure. What if I MC and he's cooked all his sperm?

Mae I HATED that schloer! But then, I hate Pimms too. Clothes wise, I have lots of baggy clothes anyway, so hopefully won't need much. Smile

gaggiagirl · 27/06/2015 19:30

Shock do you all (except bat and gouda) live in a different country to me? In the u.k I live in its foggy and over cast occasionally it pisses down and the sun comes out for a few minutes but that goes hand in hand with freezing winds. I'm wearing a fur lined dressing gown.

WilHarlot · 27/06/2015 19:32

Ah it's ok Mae, I'm not actually pregnant. I just haven't buggered off the thread since having the baby Grin . So I can take tablets, although they really don't seem to be helping much.

That old chestnut Tee. That comment nearly did me in with bfing last time round. Until I found a support group and realised it was totally normal.

WilHarlot · 27/06/2015 19:34

God Gaggia it was even warm here today. You know things are bad when I have better weather than you. Have been reliably informed it's going to piss it down tomorrow though.

DulcetMoans · 27/06/2015 19:35

That's the north for you gaggia! Wink

When is she leaving tee? Before you go mental on her I hope!

oneyorkshirepud · 27/06/2015 19:42

God your MIL needs to bugger right off tee!

gaggiagirl · 27/06/2015 19:46

So true dulcet its this county, its like another dimension its weird. My mam said Alnwick was tropical today. Clearly Scotland got the tropics today too.
Let this be a message to you all, dont visit Co. Durham...its cold and populated by women, children and the elderly cos the men folk are at war or the bookies and there is no Waitrose
