Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Woo hoo rm!!! You did a baby good and proper! Hope you're recovering well, can't wait to hear ThanksThanks

WilHarlot · 25/06/2015 09:15

I can't even remember what I did on my birthday. Feel like maybe my family took me out for lunch as MrWil was working. Chips on the floor is unacceptable! Why a book on cameras La? I would have been expecting a camera after that.

Purpleball · 25/06/2015 09:21

Ladies you need a second birthday! I get a bit precious about birthdays no surprises there but I think it's your day to only do things that you want to do. I imagine it might change when I have a baby but I usually do something nice like go out with my mum for the day. This year it was the good food show.

gaggiagirl · 25/06/2015 09:27

Yes wil floor chips!!!! He's only one so I thought if I get chips for me but put them infront of him he would be occupied......bad idea and good bye lovely birthday chips.

Fleurchamp · 25/06/2015 09:29

It's my birthday soon. Usually DH and I will go out for dinner and have drinks etc.

This year it's on a weekend and so I suggested to DH that we go out for lunch but I do not know yet what food I will fancy. Poor DH has ended up booking three different restaurants so I can decide nearer the time Blush

Hope the scan goes well looking

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 09:50

Ha Fleur poor Mr Fleur! He sounds like a sweetie though.

Camera book - we just bought new camera to take pics of baby so I guess that's where his head was. But I did photography at school and learned about as much as I'm interested in learning! I'm a bit of a point and click kinda girl.

I love so many things in the world, but cameras are not one. Do like the pez dispenser though Grin

How you feeling today purple? Did yesterday just get on top of you a bit?

Lemon - are you lurking? Did you ever get the baby on board badge I posted you?

Looking - how did it go?

Baby is bit quiet today. I'm keeping an eye on movements. Yesterday but quiet too.

gaggiagirl · 25/06/2015 10:05

Were going to see minions movie this weekend. Eek.

Pisghetti · 25/06/2015 10:10

Congratulations RM!

Is the middle name a secret until miniLa comes?

I'm pretty precious about birthdays too. Had a spa day this year - couldn't use sauna and steam room so just wallowed in the pool and had a nap in a dressing gown that wasn't mine by the side of the pool then waddled off with wrinkly feet to get a pedicure.

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2015 10:13

It's my birthday end of August, a big one too (21 again!). DH keeps asking me what I want to do but I honestly don't know what I can do with a 6-8 week baby. Just keep telling him we can't really make plans.

What a sweetie DH is fleur! Maybe you can go for a course at each!

Chips on the floor is never acceptable gaggia, you should have just left him there! It's the only way he will learn! top parenting?

I've been keeping an eye on movements too la. It's just been a bit quieter this week but defo stuff going on. Could be the space issue? What treatment did he get you anyway or is it open?

Congratulations RM! Grin

Interesting present choices La but at least he redeemed himself. My birthday wasn't much fun this year either. Hopefully next year will be better!

So jealous ga! I really want to see it. Maybe I can persuade MrCandy........

Fleur your dh sounds lovely bless him.

Purple how are you feeling today?

Just going back to the type of birth, I'm with all you ladies that would like a birth as natural as possible. I'm not against the meds though so I'm happy to try them if it gets too much

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 25/06/2015 10:20

Congratulations RM and well done :)

Just popping by to say thanks for my lovely welcome onto FB group. Was stupidly nervous about posting, no idea why. Anyway it's nice to actually see you all :)

I am a proper birthday fiend as I'm not a fan of Christmas. It can be embarrassing given my age, but I often take the day off work and tell ask DH to do the same. But then we were able to buy our house because we could view it on a birthday day off - so not all bad.

Glad your birthday improved La. There should be a saying, "better than tomato soup and a toothless man".

Feeding B again. It's agony, but Jill the breastfeeding lady is coming to rescue me this PM. Must not talk about nipples on antenatal thread. And I continue to shrink, despite eating a Magnum a day - medicinal, obviously. One of the few advantages of running a 24-hour milk bar.

It's a bit sad viroids. Scales tell me I'm still at least a stone heavier than pre-preg weight, but looking in the mirror I feel momentarily fab because compared with having the bump, I am now a waif. A waif covered in baby grot, but a waif nonetheless.

Hope your scan went well, Looking

gaggiagirl · 25/06/2015 10:54

before I applaud your weight loss! Is baby B chewing you? Hope Jill can help. I've already met my 'Jill' but I'm hoping I can just crack on on my own this time.

candy I remember your equally shite birthday. Your dp can make it up to you by taking you to see minions. I only get to go because I have a four year old.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 11:16

Ooh before I know Jill the bf lady - is t she marvellous!?! She's the one who did my excellent bf class!

Hopefully she can help you! Well done on your weight loss and feeling fab Smile

Pis as long as none of you comment on my Facebook stuff with sex or name I can share! You guys are the only ones I've told Grin

He will be Benjamin Jack Angus. Is that too many names? It gets us over the BAW initial problem, plus means we get to use the names we like and encompass the Scottish side. He will just be known as Ben to us though.

I already call him baby Ben in my head

My voucher is for anything so I think I'm going to have a pedicure. Just had hair cut and I feel sooooo much better!

Jcandy · 25/06/2015 11:16

Hmmm I wonder if they do rental 4 year old so I have an excuse to see minions........

How was your scan looking?

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 11:18

I love minions! I want to see the minion film too.

Just never envisaged a minion pez dispenser as my 35th birthday present...

jellypi3 · 25/06/2015 11:18

jc we went to see dispicable me without any kids, we looked a bit odd but was great fun!

la love the name. My DP has two middles names. Ben is such a cute name :)

Hope your scan went well looking

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 12:33

You've all gone quiet....

Does this mean you think name is awful?

honeysucklejasmine · 25/06/2015 12:43

I'm only just catching up I and LOVE it! We would use Ben too but DH has a close family member called Ben. But I still fantasise about using it. Right up my street!

Jcandy · 25/06/2015 12:59

Lovely name la Smile You could put the middle names either way round bit it's great that you can have the names you want

Fleurchamp · 25/06/2015 13:20

I like it la - I was only thinking the other day of suggesting two middle names to get over the initials problem but clearly my thoughts did not end up in a post.

Just met some nct girls for a coffee. We are all cagey about revealing names in case we have picked the same Grin I'm not worried though, I don't actually care if we end up with some clashes - it's always going to happen.

I need a "Jill" Sad will have to investigate a similar in the area....

Fleurchamp · 25/06/2015 13:21

Re movement

Definitely slowed down here but I am happy as long as I feel a little wriggle every now and then. If in doubt I lay on my side and it definitely gets the baby to move.

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2015 13:30

Sorry la, I went out. It's a lovely name. DH likes Ben here too but I'm not sold yet. For as start Ben + his surname is a cricketer! Oh and I have three middle names, I like it! No problem having two!

I am sure that stone will drop off as you continue before, don't think about it too much. So long as you have a happy baby for now you are doing well!

Seeing kids movies is a perk of being a parent, surely! I am wondering if I can go to 'scream club' before baby is born... It's London Road this week and I want to see that.

Haven't read all the thread, will update later but wanted to say all good with scan yey! Measuring a couple of days ahead LMP so 12+5, due 2nd Jan! NT measurement (which I was worried about) they took 4, 1.6/1.7/1.8/1.9mm so they went with 1.9mm. Is that ok?? Sounds quite high to me even though I know up to 3mm is normal. Nervous for my bloods but really happy that baby looked good, was very active took ages to get the measurements!

Jcandy · 25/06/2015 13:42

Has anyone done the daisy birthing active antenatal classes??

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 13:53

Hooray looking! Fantastic news!!! Picture?

Can't do names other way round coz of our surname and a certain musician Grin that's why we couldn't have it as first name. Minefield!

Fleur try your local NCT website for a jill - ours does bumps an babes every Monday for 2 hours. You can go along for coffee, chat to other mums and Jill is there to help if needed.

JC I did Daisy! So did pis and popz and maybe zyla? I found it really helpful - I'd recommend going but later than I did tho as I went 13-20 weeks and have forgotten lots of it.
