Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

Looking that sounds find to me doc measurements. They would say if it wasn't x

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2015 14:01

Great news looking. Measurements sound good. Think mine was higher than that. Just waiting for the blood test results now - more waiting! Hopefully you feel better about it all now though.

Hang on, are you all talking about the same Jill? How can she live in all the places??

tee, tee, TEE! My poodlepod just came. I researched the others but went for that one as it looked a bit more compact (and I vainly liked the patterns!) but it looks huge now it's here! Might have the same pattern as you too, sorry. Wasn't deliberate!

Good news looking :)

I'm so impatient for my scan, still got just under 2 weeks to wait

Jcandy · 25/06/2015 15:04

Ah yes la that makes sense Smile

Was thinking of going when I'm about 20 weeks. Is it a once only thing then? Just the 6 sessions and then you don't so more?

gaggiagirl · 25/06/2015 15:17

That's great looking can we see the photo pleeeeeeease!.
dulcet my Jill is called Adrienne, haven't you got an allocated Jill? I would look into it if you need Jill once baby is here.

Indigoblue2 · 25/06/2015 15:37

I'm going Jill hunting next tues when I attend my first la leche meeting Smile

Good news looking, what a relief!

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 15:42

JC you can sign up to more than one course if you want, plus you d got the couples workshop. I just didn't because it was really far from me and I found it stressful trying to get there after work

Really useful for breathing and learning exercises and poses to get baby into right position

Poddle pod - why so cheap compared to cocoonababy? I might get one! I can't afford sleepyhead or cocoonababy

Just did nursery stickers - awwwwwww!!!! They look amazing.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 15:42

Me and before live in same area so have actual same Jill Grin

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2015 16:02

I don't have a Jill. How do I get one?! I don't have a health visitor yet either but most my NCT group have been contacted or even met her!

Photos of nursery la?

Indigoblue2 · 25/06/2015 16:03

Dulce you need to hunt one down!

gaggiagirl · 25/06/2015 16:09

My Jill is a community midwife and breastfeeding support worker. I wasn't discharged from mlu after dds birth til we got the latch right and Jill was there for every feed til we cracked it. I was really lucky.

Niffertiti · 25/06/2015 16:20

Just popping in quickly from my holidays to say congrats cym and rm, well done viroids on beautiful babies! And great news on 12week scan looking. Scanxiety is setting in re mine on Monday argh!

It's frickin hot here viroids (Turkey) but it turns out it's a good place to be booze-free. I'm downing endless pomegranate juice.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 16:30

Hi niff! hope you're having a lovely break!

Our Jill sounds the same as yours ga - she's on hand if you need help and ever so nice, so I'm going to phone her if I'm struggling.

Nursery wall photo here! Not finished the rest of it yet.

dulcet I've not had anything about HV either! I didnt know we were meant to have a visit until I saw NCT group on Tues. They've all had theirs

honeysucklejasmine · 25/06/2015 16:34

Awww La, it looks lovely!

Yay Looking! Fantastic news! I have such a long wait to go for mine!

So, any tips for exhaustion?! I am solo tired I have resorted to eating jelly sweets for the sugar boost. Obviously this is not a good long term plan.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 16:48

Naps, honey. Naps will become your best friend. I used to nap at lunch time in our first aid room at work. Friend of mine napped in her car.

Naps, naps, naps.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 17:03

Does anyone else's dad forget their birthday? Just got an EMAIL from him apologising and saying he'll send a card. This will only be because I just spoke to my brother and he will have told him he forgot.

I just told him to shove his fucking card.

honeysucklejasmine · 25/06/2015 17:10

Naps, I can do. I only work part time so plenty of time for naps.

Sorry you dad is sucky. Sad

DulcetMoans · 25/06/2015 17:10

We just stopped doing birthdays and Father's Day and Christmas la. It was easier that way. Might get a text. Unfortunately my dad is one of those that will still moan that I haven't made the effort on his birthday - weirdly doesn't feel the same when it's mine three weeks later!

Great looking stickers though la, focus on that positive rather than the email!

Sugar does help honey and hopefully it won't last. Naps do help too as mentioned but I couldn't nap at work so did have to wait to be home.

Hi niff! It's hot here too so you must be suffering!

Ok, I will go on a Jill-hunt. We have groups, I know that. But never been given a names individual!

I am going to run a bath, is still the afternoon! I am just crazy like that! #matleavewinning

OP posts:
gaggiagirl · 25/06/2015 17:26

A bath! At this time of day? You are living the mat leave dream!!!!!!!

WilHarlot · 25/06/2015 17:43

I'd love a nap...

Noone told me jelly sweets weren't a good long term plan. They make up half my diet the other half is fizzy drinks.

Dulcet 6-8 weeks is a pretty good age for going out for lunch. They're still pretty sleepy then so with a bit of luck will sleep right through it and you'll get a lovely birthday lunch. Wouldn't make dinner plans - you'll be knackered!

Lovely name La and I can't see tje nursery but sure that is lovely too.

Hurray for good scan Looking.

Before I was also scared about joining fb - think in case I randomly knew anyone. But there was only a very loose connection to Chat so all was well. Although wonder if we know any of the same people La.

jellypi3 · 25/06/2015 17:43

honey ive not found anything for the tiredness except sleeping. Annoyingly I can't nap so by 2:30/3:00pm I am so tired I'm yawning every 30 seconds. My boss thinks I'm mad. I did try hot drinks (not coffee/tea just hot robinson's squash) but that didn't help either.

la your nursery looks adorable. I love the little animals. I think we would have a safari theme for our nursery.

Jcandy · 25/06/2015 18:13

The nursery is looking great La Smile so cute!

Think I'll sign up to the daisy classes then, we're doing nct ones for the couples class just wanted something that got me moving too and there's not much around here.

Toast85 · 25/06/2015 18:16

La, glad your birthday redeemed itself eventually. I think a beauty treatment voucher is a good present.
Looking, hooray for your scan!
I hope I get a Jill. I don't know where to get one from though!
It's my birthday in a few months- I'll be 37 weeks by then! It's a big one for me too, hopefully I can celebrate somehow without feeling too huge and uncomfortable to enjoy it. I'll already be on mat leave and if DH is working I don't think he'll take it off as will want to keep the annual leave until after baby is born because he won't be getting any paternity leave.
It's my first yoga class tonight, I always feel like a bit of a loser when it comes to meeting people in a new group so wish me luck.

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 18:17

Ooh an afternoon bath - what luxury!!! I might do that tomorrow Grin

Have placed all the cuddly toys round the nursery which made me very excited! Can't wait!!

Being wildlife biologist I questioned the lion and tiger being in same room as each other, plus giraffe and what's obviously an African elephant. But at least these ones were vaguely in proportion and the animals a semi realistic colour! Dh thinks I'm nuts - I won't allow any clothes with circus animals on or silly coloured animals. My mum knitted him a purple horse which almost finished me off! ;) it's v cute though

Dh did question my choice of lampshade - it's got whales on. He says there are no whales in the jungle. True but technically Ewan the dream sheep doesn't live there either.

Dulcet mines the same - gets v pissed off if I don't phone him on bday or Father's Day, yet makes minimal effort himself. Apparently he won't acknowledge my new niece all as he 'is too young to be a grandad' (he's 65).

Grin I just laugh.

Sugar definitely helps! Particularly the ice cream kind!!!

LaLaLaaaa · 25/06/2015 18:20

Enjoy your class toast! Is it an antenatal one?I've made so many friends through my antenatal fitness class I love it! You're all in same boat so don't care if you look silly or not.

Wil you're west aren't you? I'm East Scotland but lived in Glasgow for a while and have lots of friends there.
