Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 31st grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 49th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: Stats

'may ouch a bit' Grin tee sorry but that did make me laugh, after your epic birth story!

would used to be! And did actually work at Mr Irwin's for a bit. Now I'm more office-based and work on policy/info/campaigning side, but I used to be in the field doing the rescue stuff.

WilHarlot · 24/06/2015 17:10

would you have to join the fb group and then you'd know!

Also probably depends how fast you're progressing for epi. I know I was too late this time. Think I was only 4 or 5cm when I got to hospital but had baby just under an hour later.

WilHarlot · 24/06/2015 17:12

Oh haha x-post. No need to join fb Grin

Those names are definitely not the top 100. Photo of bon jovi socks La?

ChatEnOeuf · 24/06/2015 17:13

I can't remember about epidural timing, La (I can't have one and labour too quickly to have time anyway, so I didn't pay much attention...). At a guess, 4-8cms is your window.

Wil, the butcher doc stitching me didn't really need to do it, but was distracted with the ongoing bleeding. She didn't listen when I told her the anaesthetic hadn't kicked in yet so I felt every stitch - there were a lot! Essentially (look away now antenates) I ended up with a haematoma the size of a sausage and couldn't sit down for a week.

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2015 17:18

I guess I do! Smile

It did seem like an odd list la, some I would never have thought of but I am at the stage of needing more options! It's on the internet wil, it must be real!

That boy sounds talented tee, and he's testing you now to see how much you can take. It's a battle, you have to win!

God chat, that's awful! Not what you needed. Do you have to go back to get it looked at?

Indigoblue2 · 24/06/2015 17:25

Ha ha would!! I know, I know Grin (smug face)

LaLaLaaaa · 24/06/2015 17:26

chat - ouch!!! Will it clear up?

Ha! Yes x-post wil, although you still probably wouldn't be able to work it out if you didn't already know :) as it's a bit odd. would you'll need to have a look at my facebook profile as it says on there.

dulcet I'm totally stumped with this middle name thing. No idea. What have you short-listed?

tee - I thought boys couldn't multi-task?

My dh is awol. His phone has been sent away for repair for a week so I've no idea when he's getting home :(. What a rubbish birthday this has been so far! I really hope tonight is more fun.

WouldRatherHaveCake · 24/06/2015 17:27

laa that's so amazing!! I love anything like that. My friend was the camera lady for David Attenborough before she passed.

wil I will join if things go well Smile

WouldRatherHaveCake · 24/06/2015 17:28

chat - fanny sympathy

Indigoblue2 · 24/06/2015 17:54

Shit sorry la - happy birthday mrs!!!!nThanksWineWineThanks

goodnessgraciousgouda · 24/06/2015 18:06

On the epidural timings, as someone else said I think it also depends a lot on how quickly the labour is going. I have a friend here who ended up getting delayed on the way to the hospital, the labour was going very quickly and by the time she arrived they told her it was too late!! Shock It was her second though, and she had really uncomplicated pregnancies.

Then again, if you're having a really long, drawn out labour, you probably need the drugs "more" than someone who is dusting their hands after 45 minutes....Well - you'd definitely need them for longer anyway!!!

Personally I am a big needle phobic, and tend to pass out even talking about injections, etc. My feeling is if the pain outweighs my phobia then it must be really really bad. And if it doesn't, then the pain can't really be that bad.

Also, why would I be in pain? All I have to do is open the window so the stork can get in, right? RIGHT?

goodnessgraciousgouda · 24/06/2015 18:09

I wonder how rm is doing.

Proper pregnancy meltdown just happened in La household. Dh finally home (3 hours later than promised) and instead of smiling and being nice and happy to see him I burst into tears. Hmm

jellypi3 · 24/06/2015 18:25

Aww la it's your birthday and you can cry if you want to!!!

Absolutely shattered in work today. Got on the train and someone on crutches asked me to move to give them my seat. A part of me felt like crying when they asked because I couldn't really refuse. Luckily a nice man opposite me jumped up instead so I still got to sit down.

WilHarlot · 24/06/2015 18:32

Thank goodness Jelly, that would suck.

Aw La, mate that's rubbish on your birthday. Can you try to salvage the evening and just be annoyed tomorrow instead?

Chat that sounds nasty. I haven't had a proper look at all my war wounds. Guess I should sometime...

LaLaLaaaa · 24/06/2015 18:48

Honestly I just felt like a fanny! So bloody hormonal! Not even mad at him just feeling sorry for myself like some kind of princess!

Have put my face on and I'm fine now

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2015 19:16

Oh dear la! Brush over it and go and have fun! In answer to your name question, I think we have agreed on family middle names - his Grandma and my Grandad - so that was easier. It's first names that are the issue!

That was bad luck jelly, glad you got to stay sitting though.

Are you in the undergrad FB would? You can spy on her there too!

Purpleball · 24/06/2015 19:22

Aww La what a rubbish birthday. Hope it's got better now. And hurray for new windows, now you can finish your nursery Smile

Chat that sounds horrendous! I'm a bit scared by the tearing/stitches talk and in some ways hope that I don't go into labour early as ELCS sounds like less trauma!

Dulcet what a lovely friend you have Grin

I am an anxious wreck today. I got annoyed at breakfast with useless hotel staff not clearing tables. I sobbed at work because no one knew the password for the computer I was meant to be training on then the bloody woman never used it
2 people asked me how my pregnancy is going and I sobbed on them about how scared I am of pre-eclampsia Confused

After work I went to Boots to get some hospital bag stuff and they were stocktaking all round the maternity pads so I couldn't browse properly. I found someone and asked where the lansinoh was and then burst into tears! She took me into the pharmacist room, got me some water then got the lansinoh for me. She was lovely and totally got the hormones, she was just back at work after mat leave.

I've just been to m&s food for a picnic tea hotel room binge

Sorry for the me me me post. Anxiety is overrunning me again Sad

honeysucklejasmine · 24/06/2015 19:31

Oh Purple! Bless you. What a lovely Boots lady though! Flowers

Enjoy your evening La!

gaggiagirl · 24/06/2015 19:45

Oh purple I hope you feel better soon.

la it was my birthday the weekend before last and it was shite. DP went to work on a day he doesn't normally work and didn't even organize a nice tea. Just came home hungry like any other day. It was so shit.

jellypi3 · 24/06/2015 19:49

Aww purple hormones are rubbish :(

Has anyone heard from lemon recently?

WilHarlot · 24/06/2015 20:03

Lemon popped up on fb didn't she?

Gaggia that is truly shit about your birthday. I think you should have another one to make up for it.

Purpleball · 24/06/2015 20:08

Ga that's really shit lovie. He needs a Jiffy bag!

DulcetMoans · 24/06/2015 20:10

Ah, that name list is most looked at names on a website, not most used. That makes more sense.

Bad DP gaggia, get some compensation for that! We prescribe a birthday weekend of your choice. Tell him we said so he has to.

Sounds like a shitty day purple, are you feeling a bit better now? Maybe an evening hiding in the hotel and an early nice will help? I quite often did that when away, took dinner back to hotel room and hid from the world.

lemon did pop by on facebook and said she was ok.
