Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

Of course cunk! And phoenix, I feel very out of touch with babies and pregnancy! Ten years ago since I was last preg!

smallbird · 25/06/2015 07:35

I've saved lots of mine too, but it's only been months since I last used it all so perhaps that's more laziness than anything.

So much of its pink though. Trying to get people not to buy everything pink and frilly didn't really work. So if this baby is a boy, he's going to have some nice pink baby grows to wear...

Babybrain153 · 25/06/2015 07:52

My DD is 3, I've nothing saved from when I had her bcos of a house move last year, so much to get plus wedding in May next year eek! Going to be a busy year

Confirmed positive test from the doctors and form filled in so just awaiting contact from a midwife now Grin

smallbird · 25/06/2015 11:50

Congrats on the weddings babybrain and eight!

DD is 13 months. So I'll have two under two for a little while next spring, argh! I'd have preferred more neutral stuff too but unfortunately relatives didn't agree with me and they bought a LOT of pink.

Candlefairy101 · 25/06/2015 12:18

Woah ladies I feel exhausted today ???? 1st day of exhaustion and I already have a 9 month old at home, I literally gonna have to sleep when I dead in8 months hahaha x

Hello all Grin

Thanks herewego for the stats thread, how exciting is it seeing there in black and white!

Lynsey I hope all is still ok with you. Fingers crossed the bleeding has stopped.

I'm 4+2 today and have chronic lower back ache and the fatigue has hot like a bus.

Anyone else got backache?

Herewegoagain31 · 25/06/2015 19:42

I've still got all my baby things from DD1, I was planning/hoping we'd have another one not too soon after her so everything is boxed in the attic ready to go! I'm normally so disorganised but I was quite proud of myself for once, I stored them in boxes of 0-3months,3-6months etc so they should be easy to access. However a LOT of it is girly so if this one is a boy he's going to be very pink and frilly behind closed doors! I tried to get some neutral things but gave up after a while as the girl stuff is so pretty and I thought if she is my only girl I want to enjoy it!
Lara sorry to hear about your back. I have a chronic back injury (tore a disk skiing a few years ago - ow!) which is why I had to have a c section last time, so I can sympathise with back pain. Luckily I'm ok so far. In fact after my unfortunate incident with the new vitamins making me feel bleugh I'm completely back to normal again with no symptoms whatsoever really, which is a bit disconcerting. I'll enjoy it while it lasts though as I was reading my diary from my last pregnancy and it would seem when 5 weeks came round that was when I started to feel horrendous! 4+5 today.. (or 4+6 depending on which pregnancy app I'm using!) Will be 5 weeks on Saturday

We can have a mini two under two club!

No backache here Lara, just lots of feeling sick. Made the mistake of going to the petrol station after work. The smell of the fumes was horrible!

My big realisation today was that I really really don't want a double buggy. I'm hoping I can get by with using my current one. It's supposed to be able to be turned into a double with a second seat so I'm going to take a look into that. Have any of you other second timers thought about prams yet?

LaraNotCroft22 · 25/06/2015 20:30

My ds will be 2yrs 4 months so hoping to get away with a pram with buggy board? Hopefully that will be ok! No idea if it will be haha the idea of two under two and a half has just hit me!

Oh crap! GrinGrinGrin

dobbythedoggy · 25/06/2015 21:17

Hi all,

Tentivily hoping to join you. I'm about 4 weeks pregnant. Not sure when exactly I'm due. but with the combination of dates I've put in 1st to 3rd/4th of March.

This is 3rd pregancy for me, last ended at 5 weeks with nmc at the end of May. Not sure exactly of dates because we've concived straight away Grin! Going to be constantly knicker checking...

I've got a dd, 2.7 yrs, really hoping to make her a big sister this time.

I've had ungodly back ache, which is what finally pushed me into testing, but is starting to ease a little today. First night in week I've not had a headache. As dd puts it 'soo dribly', but that has taken the edge off my manic thirst. So far feeling sea sick, just how I felt when pregnant with dd, trying to forget the vomiting that came after that. Not forgetting the tirdness, need to head to bed.

goneswimming · 25/06/2015 21:46

Following the mc last time I'm really struggling to be happy about this pregnancy. It just feels like a matter of time until it fails again. Anyone else had a mc before and struggled with believing in the next try?

ImGoingForATwix · 25/06/2015 23:05

So sorry to hear about your mc goneswimming. The first 12 weeks are long. Could you book an early scan to put your mind at rest?

Our buggy converts to a double but also wondering if we'll just get a buggy board. another option may be a sling for the newborn and keep using the buggy for the toddler.

Babybrain153 · 26/06/2015 06:23

Woke up with a lot of cramping this morning and my nausea has turned into vomiting ???? anyone else got this yet?

dobbythedoggy · 26/06/2015 07:47

I'm up.

Pouring dd's cereal has just made me dry heave. Got to attempt to give her her antibiotics soon, that might just push me over the edge.

SoozeyHoozey · 26/06/2015 07:50

I'm so sorry gone swimming X

My due date is 04/03/16.

Got a bad back and everything makes me want to cry! It's a bit disconcerting cause I'm not normally a crier!

ImGoingForATwix · 26/06/2015 08:15

Sympathies to those with nausea/sickness already. Mine didn't kick in until about 6 weeks last time. Relatively symptom free at the moment but I am more tired. Ginger (in biscuit form is best!) helps with sickness and eating just little and often. I found foxs glacier fruit sweets kept me through last time too. Maybe more of a distraction though!

Babybrain153 · 26/06/2015 09:54

Goneswimming I had a MMC in February, finding it hard not to get anxious and believe it's gonna happen again, feeling really rough with symptoms at moment though which I'm seeing as positive x

MovingUpwards · 26/06/2015 10:46

Hello everyone! Hope you dont mind if I join.. got my BFP last night but DH couldnt believe it, did another this morning and much darker definitive line!!
I used the NHS due date calculator that puts me due for 1st March.
This will be DC4 for us and our last one! We have DD1 8yrs old, DD2 5yrs old and DS nearly 11 months!
Congrats to you all! Grin Grin Grin Grin

dobbythedoggy · 26/06/2015 11:49

goneswimming I'm trying hard to be positive, I'm feeling very different already from the pregnancy I mc which helps. But I do feel like I'm waiting for something to go wrong. After an easy pregnancy with dd I feel like the mc took my innocence away, I never entertained the idea that so much could go wrong.

There's a couple of threads on pregnancy after mc on the pregnancy boards if you haven't found them.

smallbird · 26/06/2015 13:47

Welcome Moving!

What buggy do you have, Twix? Mine's an uppababy vista.

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages in the past, dobby and babybrain and goneswimming. I hope this pregnancy is successful for you.
