Anybody else out there??! Just got my faint BFP on a first response test! Only 9DPO so shouldn't really have tested - I told myself I wouldn't till I missed my period! - but was just feeling very pregnant. My due date is showing as 1st March. This would be number 2 for me, I already have a little girl, 20 months. Only symptoms so far are very sore boobs and a snuffy nose first thing in the morning!

I've got my booking in appointment next wednesday. Will be asking if I can be refured for an early scan, for reasurance and to get an idea of actual dates. Gp was a bit clueless on if I'd need a referal to epau so wanted to let the midwives decide! Have treatment for thrush!

smallbird · 29/06/2015 13:56

Welcome lucy, irritated, tapis, smirking and anyone else I've missed!

I'm going up to the doctor's surgery in a bit to check how I book in. Last time I went to the GP and they referred me but it's occurred to me that I never asked if that's how you're meant to do it! I'm hoping the midwife clinic will still be on a Monday, as I don't much fancy taking a 13 month old to my booking appointment...

Thrush is horrible, hope it clears soon dobby!

How's everyone feeling today?

MovingUpwards · 29/06/2015 16:48

Hello all, hope you are all keeping well. I am feeling tired and definitely been more irritated than usual by the kids!

DH just reminded me last night we are hosting a bbq (basically a piss up) on weds.. dont know how Im going to get away with not drinking.. I dont think my friends will believe the old antibiotics line!!
We have becks blue but I usually drink wine so that would look suspicious!
Any ideas of what non-alcoholic drink looks enough like wine? :)

TheCunkOfPhilomena · 29/06/2015 19:44

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well.

I can't continue on this bus as I had a bleed last Thursday and then a bit more on Saturday and am no longer pregnant. I shall hide this page for the time being but wish everyone all the best for a healthy and happy pregnancy. Thanks

goneswimming · 29/06/2015 20:00

Lucy61 · 29/06/2015 20:43

Moving upwards- try decanting something non alcoholic into a wine bottle and put it in the back of you fridge so people don't help themselves and find out.

Faint BFP this morning, about an hour ago! Already have DD1 who is 20 months. Can I join the gang please Grin

Fiddledeedeee · 30/06/2015 06:49

Hi all, I've just had a BFP too, period not even due until Friday so I was a bit eager but just felt pregnant. I have a boy who is 17 months. EDD would be 11th March. Exciting! And so terrifying!

somethingfromnothing · 30/06/2015 07:53

Hello all can I join? Got a bfp on Sunday. Think I'm due on 7th but have irregular periods so hard to calculate. I've had brown spotting when I go to the loo since last Thursday so feeling a bit nervous. I have a Dd and didn't have this during that pregnancy. Was sick from 6 weeks to 26 weeks and already feel nauseous!

Smirkingpicnicbasket · 30/06/2015 09:22

I was sick from 7 - 17 weeks in my first pregnancy and I'm dreading what happens this time around with an 1 year old bounding round the house! I'm going in with the mentality that it's going to be bad so anything less is a bonus!

It's not really sunk in yet - does anyone else feel like that?

smallbird · 30/06/2015 09:50

Welcome chickpea, fiddle and something! We should update the stats list soon with all our new passengers!

Hasn't sunk in here either smirking. It's been nearly a week since I found out so I'm sure it will soon. And not looking forward to the sickness proper either.

Has anyone suggested setting up a Facebook group? I am happy to do it if others agree?

NatBat80 · 30/06/2015 15:04

Hi All! Congratulations everyone! I'm new to the site, is this the page then for March 2016 birth group, or is there a separate section? I'm due on 10th March, second baby, I have a little girl who is 2 next month.

Totally different this time! Strong symptoms since 5dpo and tested positive on first response at 7dpo, then got a positive on the digital at 10dpo. On my daughter I didn't feel anything until 8 weeks. So very very excited!

NatBat80 · 30/06/2015 15:08

Chickpea1983 I'd be interested in FB group as long as it's secret. I'm not a techie though so not sure on the logistics. This does seem difficult to follow on these threads. Am new to the site though
