Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

moonshine i read on a diff thread that it can be caused by the pregnancy vitamins, normally the iron i believe Hmm
i was kinda like this 2-3weeks ago
its your body getting used to the change in nutrients

TeenieDeenie · 03/06/2015 09:24

Morning all!

Oyster I feel like that most days too and it is frightening. I think there's only a week or so between us? I'm 6+2 today. I also remember feeling like this from my last pregnancy and was told it's totally normal so try not to worry too much (easy said I know).

My cm seems to have ramped up this week too, so constant knicker watch along with having to pee all the time, I'm never out the ladies! Hoping no one at work has noticed or maybe they're just too polite to say. Blush

Loveulots I keep having those kind of thoughts too, especially at night when I have time to think. I'm going to be so grateful to get an early scan on the nhs, but at the same time I will be terrified.

mrsfazruns · 03/06/2015 09:30

I had a dodgy tummy the whole of week 7 ... Literally almost pood myself whilst teaching a class full of paramedics!! Was not my finest hour!! It cleared up on its own but the next day I changed pregnacare to seven seas vitamins in the hope that it might help!!

Booking in appt here is 1 hour long and done before 9 weeks!!!

Everyone at work today asking how I am and was gloating that im lucky with hardly any symptoms ..... Cue right on time running to loo to vomit for 20 minutes!! Little gummy bear is playing games with me!!

mrschatty · 03/06/2015 09:34

Oh mrsfaz hope you feel better soon!
I've still not got out of bed- off till Monday had to use my holidays before July so car has its MOT (waaahhhhh) and I plan on being v lazy! X

SleepyDragon · 03/06/2015 09:57

That made me laugh Manatee LOL

FrozenFairy thats what i figured... oh well, guess i'll find out on Friday

i just want to get to 12wk so i can see the bubba as like a few others, i keep thinking there's not something there and its not really happening.... though everything is so tightly crossed that it is! Grin

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 10:20

Hi, may I join? Bit of a latecomer to the January party - only just got my bfp today! Am about 6 weeks, EDD 24th Jan, #2 (DS late miscarriage at 19 weeks - he actually had the same edd as this one!)

sleepy hi!! Grin

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 10:21

(same due date for Jan 2015, not 16)

Blimeygirl · 03/06/2015 10:21

Sleepy my booking in appointment was over an hour and that was with a midwife and a trainee midwife helping with paperwork! Was great I had to ring my boss half way through and pretend there was a delay with my "normal"doctors appointment!

Joey0805 · 03/06/2015 10:35

London based ladies: the Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley St have an amazing scans package that I just booked... For £400 a scan at 10 weeks and the Harmony test then the Nuchal scan at 12 weeks (with Harmony results). MUCH better value than anything else I've seen (normally £500-600 for the harmony and 1 scan!).

Means I'll know if it's a boy or girl super early as well (Harmony can tell you that if you want)...

mrsfazruns · 03/06/2015 10:46

Thanks mrschatty .... Now on my second trip to hide in the loo!! I'm not complaining though ..... It's all healthy x

oneconfusedchick · 03/06/2015 10:53

I had such a dodgy tummy the other night too !

mrschatty · 03/06/2015 10:57

I have decided to start christmas shopping...no chance I'll be doing that cattle market hustle and bustle when I'm preggo xx

SleepyDragon · 03/06/2015 11:19

HAQUOI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

oh my god i am so plese you are here, what did i tell you!!! LOL xx

SleepyDragon · 03/06/2015 11:19

In fact i'm that pleased i can't even spell 'pleased'

doh!

SleepyDragon · 03/06/2015 11:23

oh god mrschatty i didn't even think about that!!! groan

Blimey oh dear! i've been sneaky and booked the day off as annual leave as i'm not great with blood tests and figured if it is the full booking in thing and i have one then i can go back to bed so only a minor subterfuge for me!!

moonshine25 · 03/06/2015 11:32

Thanks ladies, glad it's a normal symptom! I'm 7 + 1 today so fits in with your timings too. Thinking it could be something to do with the vitamins tbh but I switched from pregnacare as the made me feel sick. Will stick with these ones and see if it clears up I think - would prefer this to actually being sick.

Feeling nausea and VERY tired at the moment - I don't think I've ever felt this tired before and I didn't expect to either now.

I feel exactly the same as others re the scan - I'm petrified that when we go for the scan there will be nothing there and they tell me off for wasting their time!

Does it ever get any easier?!

moonshine25 · 03/06/2015 11:32

And welcome haquoi!!

TeenieDeenie · 03/06/2015 11:52

Welcome haquoi Smile

First day of pretty bad nausea for me, up until now I've just had a few sicky moments, but no matter what or how much I eat it's not going away. Do the sea bands work?

kep1979 · 03/06/2015 12:11

Welcome newbies Smile

I seem to remember weeks 8-12 being the worse for my morning sickness with my youngest son.... it has definitely ramped up this week. Although I did manage food yesterday, and no actual vom yet.

I'm really thirsty too - and my word the needing to wee is driving me mad! Also have jet lag, both dh and I were wide awake at 1am, so got up and read for a couple of hours before going back to bed.... I am absolutely shattered now. Plus think I'm coming down with a cold - I always seem to after being on a plane :-/

My boobs also have started hurting massively again over the last day or so - the pain never really went away but it is definitely much worse than it was a week or so ago. Anyone else noticed this?

I called dr yesterday as I still haven't heard from midwife - apparently they don't make contact until 9-10 weeks - seems quite late to me? I think I'll call them directly (well via the hospital) next week to make sure that is right as the GP didn't even ask for my LMP (they do have that I was 4.5 weeks on 12 May) so I'm not convinced they know what's going on really!

haquoi123 · 03/06/2015 12:30

Hi sleepy, so pleased to be here as well :)
Thanks for the welcome moonshine teeny and kep. mrschatty sorry to hear the morning sickness has gripped! It's not hit me yet but I remember last pregnancy I spent too long wishing for it and the rest of my pregnancy kicking myself.

Lilliana · 03/06/2015 12:37

Oh my God, I hadn't even thought about Christmas shopping. It's DD end of nov too, better get on with it!

I've had to pick up my pregnancy notes from the doc and fill in the first few pages myself before booking in Hmm Is this normal elsewhere? Didn't do it for prev pregnancy.

I'm wearing by sick bands to see if it helps. Not certainly hasn't stopped my hunger! I'm going to be huge

kep1979 · 03/06/2015 12:57

teeny I certainly felt better the day I started wearing them than I did the day before.... not toally sure but I am not taking them off to test the theory. Since wearing them I've managed to eat more - up to now I have lost a few pounds as I simply couldn't stomach anything.

Am slowly nibbling on cheese and sesame crispbreads - lunchtime at work is the worse as there are so many strong smells and I have to try not to turn my nose up!

kep1979 · 03/06/2015 12:59

And good point about christmas shopping - hadn't even considered the timing. To be fair I hate physically shopping anyway, so usually blitz amazon, but probably worth dealing with well in advance. Just got to move house first - we are crammed into the in-laws at the mo as our house sale went through in November and our purchase fell through. But should exchange next week Smile

SleepyDragon · 03/06/2015 13:07

the munchies have hit me today.... after the McDs breakfast i;ve eaten a full punnet of strawberries and am now having crackerbreads and philadelphia for lunch

also half way down a 1.5ltr bottle of water

EdgarAllenPoe · 03/06/2015 13:18

I had my first ever hysterical pregnant lady moment yesterday evening. Sobbing and gulping and unable to form proper sentences for NO REASON! I mean, I was legitimately annoyed about something (can't even remember what), but it wasn't anything major. I'm all, 'I can't SOB believe I'm being SOBso stereotypical, SOB I'm not even SOB* that upset!' And then I got upset I was crying over nothing and that made me cry some more. And I'm not even 9 weeks yet. Hilarious.
