Starting this thread to preserve my sanity next January. If I join the jan lot I'll be left on my tod so...I'm 35 this will be dc4 if all goes well, cycle 2 of trying so feeling blessed.
Roll up roll up, come and join me clutching your BFP and wondering exactly what you've let yourself in for x

Awww cheesy that's amazing! Huge congratulations and welcome to the thread x

Nausea making itself known this morning...but I have resisted peeing on any more sticks

GoulashSoup · 27/05/2015 09:40

Hello cheesy, congratulations. I have everything crossed that you are with us for the long haul.

Sparkles I hope you have a fun day with your DCs. I can't imagine how I'm going to juggle two so in my mind you must be some super powered octopus to have four!

NoMontagues · 27/05/2015 10:10

jelly how exciting! I got married last year when I was 24 weeks pregnant with DS. It was great!

Get well soon baby sparkles

tossedsalads · 27/05/2015 10:26

What lovely news cheesy, congratulations!

Still no symptoms here..... Making the most of it and trying to get as much work done as possible before I start feeling sick and tired (but am running to boots at lunchtime for an extra first response!)Smile

Raffertys · 27/05/2015 11:52

Narrowly avoided puking in two meetings this morning.

Hope everyone is having a good day

firsttimenewbie · 27/05/2015 12:11

Got the all clear. One little sack on ultrasound. Couldn't see embryo but they wouldn't expect to this early. Also I am only 4+4 not the 5 weeks I thought I was. So EDD now 30th Jan. Apparently the egg I released was HUGE.......whatever that means!

Hope sickness calms down Raffertys.

tossedsalads · 27/05/2015 12:13

Great news newbie!

jellypi3 · 27/05/2015 12:31

congrats newbie i'm 4+4 today too :) although due 26th Jan because of short cycles according to NHS website!

nomontagues our wedding is in May 2016 so hopefully if all goes well with this little bean i'll have a 4 month bubba at the wedding :)

teaandcake2016 · 27/05/2015 12:58

I'm so pleased for you newbie, and lol about the huge egg- never heard of that before! Grin

Raffertys · 27/05/2015 12:59

newbie that's awesome! How did they know that about the egg?

Nausea gone now. I think I let myself get hungry. I stuffed crisps and a sarnie at half eleven. Got some strange looks from colleagues.

firsttimenewbie · 27/05/2015 13:16

raffetys I think it left a huge crater or something hehe! She said it was so big I am at risk of my ovary twisting....in which case I need to go straight to a&e but will worry about that if it happens. Until she said that I was feeling strangely proud of my huge egg lol!

That's funny jelly my original EDD was 26th. We swapped.

Raffertys · 27/05/2015 13:24

Crater Grin

Twisty ovary sounds scary. Make sure you get yourself checked out ASAP if you have any pains.

Cheesypop · 27/05/2015 14:01

Thanks everyone! You lot are friendly Grin

The truth is I may not be pregnant for long (unfortunately a high-ish risk of mc) and I may never get pregnant again so I'm enjoying every single second of this miracle.

That's great news newbie! Fingers crossed it's plain sailing from here on in.

GoulashSoup · 27/05/2015 14:12

Awesome news newbie! And congratulations on your super egg. Glad all is good.

Cheesy for today you are pregnant and the best thing you can do to support your pregnancy is to think positive and stay stress free, so you have the right attitude. I really am willing it to stick for you.

oneconfusedchick · 27/05/2015 15:20

Hi - can I join? Dates of my LMP make my due date 24th Jan however as I was having blood tests I know that I ovulated late in cycle and clear blue digi tests match that. That combined with the fact I was two weeks late with DC1 makes me think I'm hVing a feb baby!

Raffertys · 27/05/2015 16:27

Cheesy - exactly what goulash said. It's bloody hard to relax - especially considering what you've been through - but I'm desperately trying to chill out in the knowledge that what will be, will be.

Hello confused! Congrats and welcome.

jellypi3 · 27/05/2015 19:17

welcome confused :)

it's hard to relax this early on. I keep telling myself that more pregnancies make it than fail even at this early stage but it's still hard not to analyse every twinge.

birdbrain21 · 27/05/2015 19:30

Hi all Smile I was due my period last week and took 4 tests over the course of the week but they were all really faint and I had no symptoms so didn't really believe it. With my dd (now 2) I didn't know I was late only tested because I felt awful so it's weird not to have symptoms yet! But I took another test this afternoon and the positive appeared before the control line so feel a bit safer to join in here. Think I'm due 2nd feb but not sure cas been on pill so don't know how long my cycle is. Have doctor appointment on Monday so hopefully will find oit then. Looking forward to at least 9 months of chatting (aand hopefully we'll make it through to the post-natal boards as well!

Raffertys · 27/05/2015 19:53

Hi bird, welcome and congrats

rallytog1 · 27/05/2015 20:09

Welcome confused and bird - and congrats!

cheesy I am in awe of your attitude.

teaandcake2016 · 27/05/2015 20:21

Hi confused and Brain - congratulations! I love coming on here because it makes it feel a bit more real!

sparklesandfizz · 27/05/2015 21:02

Hey and a big congrats to all newly upduffed ladies. Welcome bird&confused

newbie great news on the scan,

cheesy I too am in awe of your chilled stance on the position you find yourself in. Carry this on and you'll sail through the terrible twos Grin

Sparkles family had a wonderful if knackering day out. We walked miles and picnicked at a lovely stream. Children fantastically filthy at the end of the day, stayed out much longer that I had intended but picked up a chippy tea on the way in and all three bathed and in bed for 7pm woohoo!
Baby seems much better & enjoyed herself, found hay in her nappy!

House a complete state and I'm in bed.....feeling sorry for dh who is not yet home from work and will be walking in to house Armageddon. Hey ho I can only do so much.

Thanks! Have an appointment with midwife next FridY so will have a chat about due dates!

Cheesypop · 27/05/2015 22:01

Ah thanks you lot. Excuse me as I have something in my eye Grin

A long time ago I began to lower my expectations. I realised that during the ivf process, if we could have one embryo fertilise and live for one day in the lab, that would be amazing. It would be so much more than we'd ever had before and it would be our creation that we could hold on to. In the end we have four embryos (three still in the freezer) and the little dude that's inside me is now 11 days old. It's more than I thought possible and its wonderful, I can't stop smiling. I am truly living for today and loving it!

I am totally amazed and inspired that this is a thread of people who don't know each other but are all going through such similar things in the hope of bringing a new life into the earth over the space of a few weeks next year. I know that's what a birth club is but it blows my mind Grin

Cheesypop · 27/05/2015 22:09

Also welcome confused and bird

When has everyone's symptoms and nausea started? I know I'm less than 4 weeks but waiting with bated breath to actually feel something...
