Starting this thread to preserve my sanity next January. If I join the jan lot I'll be left on my tod so...I'm 35 this will be dc4 if all goes well, cycle 2 of trying so feeling blessed.
Roll up roll up, come and join me clutching your BFP and wondering exactly what you've let yourself in for x

Newbie I hope you manage to get some sleep tonight and they can see you first thing Flowers
Hello to all the new BFPs congratulations!! I'm struggling to keep up with everyone already so sorry for not mentioning everyone.
I too am struggling not to tell anyone, I had to really stop myself from letting it slip out more than once at work today, I hope I don't as still don't feel really certain about this, despite the definite lines on the sticks.
Hope those with insomnia settling in manage to get some decent shut eye tonight.

Goulash I love the science museum too. I think DS is still a bit young but might give it a go next time we are all in London.

Hmmmm I am feeling nothing at allConfused I think I might do another first response tomorrow just to see if the line gets darker lol! Although I am only 4+1.

I am hoping to keep the news to myself for as long as possible. At least until July. Although it's common round here to have 4/5/6 children families I am still paranoid that people will make comments about number 3!

Newbie I hope you've had some rest and that you can get some reassurance today.

I spent all of yesterday worrying about the lack of nausea and feeling like all was doomed. I think Fu's news was just a bit of a reminder of how fragile everything is at this stage. I then ended up throwing up my dinner into the nearest receptacle, DS' potty. So classy.

I've booked my booking apt with the midwife for the 23rd of June which seems ages away!

Hopit, how old is your DS? Mine is 2 and a half. I think he thought he'd gone to heaven when he walked in and saw the steam engine and then the rocket (a V2 missile but I wasn't going to correct him), and then the space ship. All while clutching his dinosaur and roaring away.

Goulash- your story made me laugh about the potty! So far no sickness for me, hope it doesn't strike when I am back at work (I'm a teacher!)

Newbie- hope all goes well today, please update us if you are able to.

Hope everyone has a lovely day :)

Hi all

I'm going to very very cautiously join you here. This is something I never thought I would get to do. We started TTC in September 2011 and finally after years of heartache and now ICSI I have a BFP. We had a beautiful frozen embryo replaced 6 days ago so im 3 weeks 4 days at the moment! Incredibly early and all manner of things could happen but for the moment I'm going to enjoy venturing out of the 'inferility' section and into a section I have only ever dreamed of, and always protected myself from. Smile

I don't have any symptoms or anything but i'll have a beta on Saturday so I should at least get know my hcg levels and have the pregnancy confirmed by the clinic. Smile

Should be due 5th February 2016 btw.

Tossed- such a shame that people could make comments, although it must be nice sometimes having a little secret! My mum kept her pregnancy with me a secret until about 7 months because she was worried she would lose her job (obviously way before rights and stuff!). Not sure how she managed to hide it though...

Welcome cheesy! So excited for you Smile

I actually managed to sleep last night for the first time in a week, but ended up in tears this morning when I inadvertently threw my giant cup of tea all over the bedroom floor. Hopefully the day can only get better from here...

Thank you everyone! I feel sort of numb but smiling! That's the best way I can describe it at the moment. I'm keeping everything crossed for all of our little beans, whether they are only here for a little while or for 40 weeks they are so precious to us. Flowers

Welcome cheesy and huge congratulations, wishing you a smooth ride from here on.
tossed I've been POAS each morning to try and see the line get darker, but I don't really think it works like that so try not to over analyse, not that I take my own advice so good luck.
goulash he's only just 1 last week so I don't think he'd know what a rocket was, he does enjoy anything he can bang bang though!
Not too much nausea here just a funny taste and a little wobble in the tum.
rally glad you managed to get some sleep.

Thinking of you newbie

Hi cheesy welcome and congratulations! Flowers

So far no sickness, but that's pretty normal for me at this stage. Have gp appointment this afternoon, maybe that will make things seem a bit more real.

Have booked for scan and harmony test on 9th July which seems an eternity away!

Report
jellypi3 · 27/05/2015 08:49

I've got an early scan but no harmony test because I'm saving for a baby and a wedding within 12 months. Must be mad.

Welcome cheesy what an amazing time for you ive got everything crossed that we'll all be here til feb 2016!
Trying my best to resist peeing on my last cb digi this am. Must be strong as only 4+5 and want to wait until 2 weeks on fri so I definitely get a nice reassuring 3+ (sad I know)
Dd2 breastfeeding like a beast. She is poorly so forgiven but we're back to newborn poos! Worrying re hormones and maintaining this new pregnancy whilst feeding still.
The tandem feeding has given me hope though....

Distracted as have got all 3 of them at home (half term) off out now for a picnic and to run them like dogs. I got a lie in this am as we went on a bat watching walk last night and didn't get in til late.

Remain resolutely symptom free - long May that reign!!
