Starting this thread to preserve my sanity next January. If I join the jan lot I'll be left on my tod so...I'm 35 this will be dc4 if all goes well, cycle 2 of trying so feeling blessed.
Roll up roll up, come and join me clutching your BFP and wondering exactly what you've let yourself in for x

Ah sleep, how i miss thee. I was at work doing a ten hour shift til 3 in the morning and i have to do it again tonight. I gave up and told them last night, straight onto office duties and after tonight no more working past midnight. Hopefully that will help with the lack of sleep.

RattyCatty · 06/06/2015 11:53

Hi all - hope having a great weekend so far.

I have two cats too - love them! Smile

I'm on my way to visit my cousin who had Matilda Josephine two weeks ago, so excited about a cuddle!

Twingy around belly button earlier... hoping normal!?

SweetCharlotteRose · 06/06/2015 12:13

Can I ask how far along people are to get 3+ on clearblue. I'm around 4+5 but got 2-3 weeks this morning. I'm not 5 weeks until Monday I guess.
I did one last night too which had dropped from 2-3 on Tuesday to 1-2 but apparently it's only 74% accurate in weeks 2-3 and time of day can make a difference. Was back up to 2-3 this morning but so convinced this isn't going to work out.
I don't really have any symptoms. Have been gagging this morning and feeling sick but I think it might be psychological. Only other thing is insomnia but again I think that might be just the worry of it all.
This pregnancy has been a long long long time coming. If and when it fails trying again is unlikely.

RattyCatty · 06/06/2015 12:24

Hi sweetcharlotterose try not to worry (easy to say I know) as I have read lots of things about the dates indicator being unreliable. If you are worried just go and see your GP and see what they say. I think I'm 5 weeks (not really sure with irregular periods after the pill) and dos one one weds & got the 2-3 weeks since conception indicator. If I can bear to I'll do another next week to see if it goes up to 3+

RattyCatty · 06/06/2015 12:24

*Did one not dos one!

Boobear1983 · 06/06/2015 12:25

Charlotte I'm not sure how accurate they are, i got 3+ weeks when i was only about 2.

SweetCharlotteRose · 06/06/2015 12:31

I'm holding onto it going back up this morning. I mean, if hcg was dropping sure it wouldn't go back up again? Would it?

SweetCharlotteRose · 06/06/2015 12:32

I wish they'd take the indicator off them! Only got one in first instance because it was all the small pharmacy had. Then I felt compelled to check it hasn't decreased and when it had I was beside myself.

Marsaday · 06/06/2015 12:46

sweetcharlotterose bear in mind that evening pee is normally less concentrated than fmu. I'm pretty sure the cb says in the instructions to do it in the morning for the date thing to be accurate. Also, it indicated from conception not from period, so if you ovulated later than day 14 then it will be out. I did one at 18dpo and got 2-3, which is normal. Hcg has to go above 2000 for it to show 3 weeka plus. Most people won't get there until 23 dpo. Stop worrying !!

Marsaday · 06/06/2015 12:47

boobear if your hcg was that high so early maybe it's twins... Grin

SweetCharlotteRose · 06/06/2015 12:56

Conceived day 13 / 14. Fairly sure I'm exactly 5 weeks tomorrow or Monday.

The first time when it showed 2-3 was also in the evening and 3 days earlier so would have thought it would show the same last night but it didn't. I wish id never taken the bloody thing now!

Boobear1983 · 06/06/2015 13:09

Er.....mars don't freak me out! That being said when i did the first test when af was one day late, i think around 18dpo the line came up instantly and very strong. Then i did a digital the day after at 19dpo and it said 3+ weeks Hmm and they were both late afternoon tests! I wonder if that's a good sign. I am beside myself with worry most days that something will go wrong. My mum had a mc before me and had to have an operation when she was pg with me. My sister is currently 7 month pg with gestational diabetes.

nightandthelight · 06/06/2015 13:14

DH gave me a talking to today about worrying about something that I have no control over. Am going to enjoy that today I am pg and do that each day until my scan when hopefully I will be able to look forward :)

Charlotte I don't think the conception indicators are very accurate so please don't worry!

firsttimenewbie · 06/06/2015 13:22

boobear i wouldnt worry -my line came up ridiculously strong on the first day of my missed period. I had a scan at 4+4 because of the bleeding and that showed there is just one in there!

Brummiegirl15 · 06/06/2015 13:56

Peeps please step away from the tests... Repeated Testing will only stress you out. They indicators on the cb digi are notoriously unreliable and will only upset you and make you think the pregnancy will fail.

A line is line and it's there to stay. No good can come of repeated testing.

Sorry if I sound harsh but i hate seeing people get so anxious over those tests.

After my 3rd mc I had a positive result for nearly 4 weeks after I had my ERPC - they are not accurate.

Sadly you will know soon enough if anything is going wrong. Take each every day as it comes. Please don't get worried over tests and enjoy being pregnant.

Lamaitresse · 06/06/2015 14:20

Charlotte please try not to worry. If I were you I would completely disregard the middle digi test you did. Hcg won't reduce and then increase again - either it reduces and continues doing so, or it increases. Ignore the 1-2 weeks result, and go with the 2-3 week one, which is correct if you think you're 5 weeks tomorrow or Monday. I have my fingers crossed for you Smile

Having said I wasn't going to buy a digi I just did Blush Think I'm 5 weeks yesterday or today, and was so worried it was only going to say 1-2 weeks given my low hcg result last week, but after sitting with sweaty palms & my heart pounding watching that blinking timer it came up with 3+ Grin I am SO relieved!!!

Mars your little one is just too cute Grin You must have had an entertaining morning!

Boobear that is a good strong result so early on. High hcg levels don't always mean twins - mine are normally high in pregnancy & I have only ever been pg with one baby at a time!

Night I hope you do go and get checked out, must be a horrible feeling, poor you. I hope all is okay.

I'm off to a party tonight - DH isn't happy as I tried on the dress I'm going to wear & I look about 4 months pregnant Blush Think it's quite amusing myself but he says there'll be no hiding it & that he doesn't want people knowing yet. If anyone says anything (it is that obvious) then I'm going to say I've been drinking lots of beer and try not to snigger Grin Anyone who knows lightweight me will realise instantly!
Anyone else got the bloat big time?! Am hoping it's pretty normal for baby number 3 Confused

Brummiegirl15 · 06/06/2015 14:31

I'm bloated too!!!! Jeans are quite very tight

peachybex · 06/06/2015 14:58

Hi all,

Just a quick hello - I'm Bex, 36 and first baby is due on 1/2/16 (I think). So I'm about 6 weeks along from first day LMP.

We go on holiday next week, and I have had to take a load of clothes back as my waistline has thickened already. That was a bit of a shock!. I was expecting (and looking forward to) a bump - just thought I might have a few more weeks grace yet hehe.

Drs appointment on Monday, feeling absolutely fine. Bit sleepy, hungry and boozwams sore but no sickness or anything. We are just keping everything crossed we get safely through these early days.

Hope everyone has a lovely day :)

Bex x

NoMontagues · 06/06/2015 15:27

hi peachy and congrats! I am Envy of everyone going on holidays.

chintaria I'm on no. 3 too and yes, I look about 16 weeks already. I use long scarves!

Tiredoftiredness · 06/06/2015 16:12

Welcome Bex!

I've had my first bit of nausea this morning not too bad yet but still bluergh!

Also feeling shattered today thanks to DS getting up at 6 and generally being a maniac all day. He even managed to jump on my toe so hard my toenail has split and I ended up bleeding all over the shop we were in and me nearly coming everywhere at the sight of the blood. Cheers DS!

Tiredoftiredness · 06/06/2015 16:13

That would be nearly vomming everywhere, coming would not have been appropriate! Blush

Boobear1983 · 06/06/2015 16:29

Welcome bex.

Ha tired that made me chuckle

peachybex · 06/06/2015 17:00

Thanks for the "Hello's" everyone :).

Tired that made me laugh too - especially the typo!! Lol.

Sorry NoMontagues - won't mention it again...well will try not too unless excitement pops out. At least you know I won't be enjoying any cocktails!.

Most of you already have babies then, which is great to know for a novice like me.

Looking fwd to hearing everyone's progress. Off out to buy some extremely attractive elasticated shorts/leggings....xx

Rufus200 · 06/06/2015 17:45

Is anybody else sweating lots? Was in my car for a hour with the air con blasting me and still had a soaked back! Also have suddenly blown up and look really fat all over. Really unfair as was on a diet for all of the last month to try and control my PCOS and because I'm a bridesmaid next week, now look like I've been eating all the pies!!!

Polo mints are currently my BFF and Tesco are doing 3 for 2 on packs.

jellypi3 · 06/06/2015 17:52

Welcome any new folk :)

The midwife called today, booking appointment is 2 weeks so got that to look forward to. Been feeling the nausea big time today, been out all day and am out tonight, shattered doesn't cover it!
