Freaking out here ladies!
Only got my brp yesterday morning. Today I am 4+4. Yesterday evening we had sex and after I felt light cramps and noticed a slight brownish tinge when I wiped after going to the loo but it wasn't enough to stain knickers. Now today it's getting worse, both in wiping and in knickers. Still not tonnes but enough to to stain, sorry for tmi. It's dark brown rather than red. Is this a mc? Is here any point going to hospital (Dr will be shut till tue)? Or is this actually normal?

Hey newbie, sorry you're going through that. Any kind of bleeding /iffy discharge in pregnancy is bloody horrible. I've experienced it in both previous pregnancies; one with good results, one not. It really can go either way and at our early, early stage it's impossible to tell either way. The Dr won't be able to do anything other than refer to EPU and they may not scan this early.

It's a shitty situation...hopefully it's a late implantation bleed or just some irritation after sex. Here to hand hold and hope it eases soon Thanks

Hi newbie the fact it's brown rather than red is a good sign, or so I have been told by a midwife.

I hope all is well Flowers

Hope all is ok newbie. I've had bleeding like that in my previous pregnancies and was told that if it's brown it's usually implantation.

Hi tossedsalads! Feeling v nervous too. Despite only finding out three days ago, it feels like forever ago. What's worrying you, the pregnancy or the thought of having three? I'm swinging between wild excitement and what were we thinking fear at the moment, bloody hormones.

newbie I'm sure it'll all settle down. Try not to worry, easier said than done I know. Scan useless at this stage.

BFP yesterday. Confirmed by a clear blue this afternoon. Prob due first week of Feb. Am a bit terrified. DS 1 is 20 months. DS is fighting advanced melanoma currently under some control but not going away. Happy that DS will have a brother or sister, just worried about the future.

Fucoffee (great name by the way!)- Am worried about the pregnancy and how I'm going to manage with my two mad things when I'm feeling sick and exhausted!

Also worried about going back to the night-time wakings as both my two were very bad sleepers for the first two years. And juggling school runs etc.

I think I am also more nervous as I have had two healthy pregnancies and babies so far, just wonder am I pushing my luck hoping for a third but perhaps that's just silly.

Apart from that am very excited to be giving them a baby brother or sister. Let the craziness begin!!

Hello Boo.

Newbie I hope things have subsided and you have had a restful night. It is horrible having no control over what is going on, but a bit of spotting is normal I think. If it persists, gets worse or the pain is too much please get checked out.

We are off to London on the train to go and see the dinosaurs. I know we are mad on a bank holiday and half term but DS is beside himself with excitement. I am tiered before we're out of bed so going to have to suck it up today.

And huge respect to those of you doing this with babies, not to mention for a 3rd or 4th time. You are either crazy or super women!

Hi ladies, can I join? Edd is 29 Jan but my dd was 2 weeks late so I feel more at home with the February crowd.

This is dc2 for us (dd is 2) - I foolishly thought I'd be less worried and anxious this time, but no! Looking forward to getting to know you all Smile

Hi everyone, cautiously hoping to join too. I'm 25, been TTC for just under a year, was due to have my first blood tests this week and DP's sperm analysis tests but then on Wednesday we got a stonking BFP and confirmation on a Digi for "Pregnant 1-2 weeks". Did another FRER on Friday and got a line stronger than the control. So i'm 4+2 today (it's going to slowly!!)

EDD is between 26-30th Jan, depending on what website I use. The Jan group are all very established so I hope it's ok me parking myself here :)

Congrats to all your BFP's.

Newbie, I thought I was out this month because I started spotting on Tuesday around lunch time. I got my BFP on Wednesday morning but spotting carried on so I thought I'd had a CP. Spotting stopped Thursday afternoon. At one point it was a darkish pink colour, then brown. I've not touch wood had any spotting since Thursday. I did go and see a GP and she basically said if there's no strong pain and if it's not bright red or clotty then don't worry about it.

Thanks all. Yes a bit better today. :)

Anyone else feeling sick already? I think my body knows what it's in for and is getting a head start . That and e tiredness!

firsttimenewbie · 25/05/2015 09:46

Aw thanks so much girlies- you have all been so reassuring- love this group already! Bleeding seems to have stopped (for now) so keeping my fingers crossed it was implantation and is over!

So sorry to hear that boo. If you did want to talk your concerns through the Cancer Research UK nurses have a phone line- sometimes it can really help just to voice all your concerns to them.

I've had a bit of "nausea" but that's it, no actual sickness.

Newbie good news the spotting stopped :)

Thanks goulash I definitely fall into the crazy bracket but I can't speak for anyone else!

Hi to all new BFPs and congrats!

Feel a bit shit today as argued with DH last night and he went off early this morning and didn't bring me up my usual cup of tea. He always brings it so things must be bad Sad Blush

newbie so glad to hear things have settled down.
