Vroomer I'm so sorry for your loss. Take care of yourself Flowers

Mawsymoo · 02/06/2015 13:25

Vroomer I'm so sorry - I crossed posts with you. I'm so sorry for your loss. Let yourself be pampered now xxx we'll be thinking of you Flowers

nightandthelight · 02/06/2015 13:25

So so sorry vroomer, many many Flowers for you. Take care of yourself and fx for your sticky bean soon!

I can't believe how common mc is, so many lovely ladies on here have had such awful experiences :(

Welcome Ratty, my pants are soaked with discharge (white/clear), glad I'm not the only one. I assume it's ok? I too keep rushing to the loo thinking it's blood!

StillCannotBelieveIt · 02/06/2015 13:30

Hi all, may I join please? I am 34 and this is my first pregnancy, 2 days in, should be around 3 weeks pregnant. I have done untold numbers of tests and have to keep checking with DH that I haven't just imagined it! I was booked in for a first appointment at a fertility clinic in a couple of weeks so the timing couldn't be better. After nearly a year of trying I am struggling to take it in though and am so worried that things won't work out. Will I ever relax during the next 9 months??

rallytog1 · 02/06/2015 13:32

I'm so sorry vroomer Thanks

nightandthelight · 02/06/2015 13:33

Welcome still, from what I have heard from pg ladies further along it is 9 months of worry ahead of us (and then a lifetime of worrying about our children Grin)!

rallytog1 · 02/06/2015 13:35

Welcome still, ratty and clare (and anyone else I've missed!). There's a link to a spreadsheet further down the thread if you want to add yourselves.

Vroomer33 · 02/06/2015 13:44

Thanks everyone for the kind words. DH has been fab. I'm a lucky girl. Even my cat has not left my side. He's following me everywhere and extra cuddly. Fingers crossed for next time

olijennerbubs · 02/06/2015 13:50

Hello,
Hope you don't mind me joining your group. I found out 2 days ago that I am expecting. Complete surprise as I was taking the contraceptive pill (albeit a new one). I don't know how far along I am and having to wait for a midwife appointment which I was told can take 2 weeks and then have to possibly wait another 2 weeks for dating scan. This seems so far away, is this normal?
I feel like I have every symptom possible; nausea, hot flushes, heartburn, sore boobs, stomach cramps and strong sense of smell.
Anyway any advise or help would be appreciated :)

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 13:50

so sorry vroomer :(

CatnipMouse · 02/06/2015 14:18

Ah vroomer I'm so sorry. Glad your husband is being great and you're having lots of cat snuggles too. Xxx

StillCannotBelieveIt · 02/06/2015 15:13

Details entered into spreadsheet - well the ones that I have. My GP appointment isn't until next Friday so I'll add my due date then.

Glad to hear that the worrying doesn't get any better! I really want to try to enjoy it but it's hard at first when you don't look or feel very pregnant. So far my only symptom is indigstion and bloating when I eat. In a weird way I'm looking forward to nausea because it will make it feel more real. How soon did everyone else start feelings more symptoms?

Brummiegirl15 · 02/06/2015 15:56

Welcome from me too Still, Ratty, Clare and Oli

Sadly Ratty mc is so common but thankfully what I've had (recurrent mc) is actually really rare as only 1% couples are affected. Which didn't make me feel great - but it does mean that I can reassure other ladies. And here I am! Grin

But I'm so glad I'm the not the only one to have soaked knickers with discharge. It really freaks me out!!!! I would happily take sore boobs and sickness over damp knickers because I find it really worrying. Then I go to the loo and I'm shocked that there's nothing there

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 16:25

Yeah i find im often dashing to the loo in a panicked state because of the feeling of wetness only to discover nothing but lots of CM (I swear I never had half this muhc when TTC).

I did look it up and apparently it's totally normal.

ClareC85 · 02/06/2015 16:32

Vroomer i'm so sorry for you and wish you all the best for future pregnancy.

Thank you for all the welcomes ladies. Chintania this is my 1st pregnancy so a total newbie to all that is involved. I didn't realised how common mc was. Im sure that those who have to go through this come out all the stronger for it and are fabulous mothers when the dust does stick. Life is so precious.

Hi Ratty from previous thread :) hope all is going well with you.

I have quite a physical job and it comes with high risk to myself so I have had to tell work asap so I can be moved away from risk factors. I do wish I could have kept the news between myself and DH until 12 weeks. However in light of previous messages I can appreciate how important it is to protect ones self.

Here is wishing happy and healthy bumps all round.

pretzelpieces · 02/06/2015 17:10

So so sorry vroomer take care of you x

purdiepie · 02/06/2015 17:16

Vroomer, I am so sorry.

The excess cm is the uterus shedding itself of all detritus to protect the embryo.

Brummiegirl15 · 02/06/2015 17:24

Just been chatting to my sister who is an obs & gynae registrar. Asked her about symptoms disappearing and coming back and she said it's fluctuating hormones. It's normal to have peaks and troughs as this is what happens to us every single day when we aren't pregnant.

So symptoms vanishing then coming back is just normal peaks and troughs

She's also said I need to chill out otherwise it's a long 8 months left! But she's a medical professional and this what she does so she admits it's very easy for her to say that

Just waiting outside my weekly acupuncture appointment, and had a phone call today from my EPAU as my heparin prescriptions are ready - but not allowed it until they've scanned me next Friday.

Hurry up next Friday!!!

Cheesypop · 02/06/2015 17:26

Ah vroomer I'm absolutely gutted for you. Look after yourself and I hope you have a sticky bean soon Flowers

I don't even check my knickers anymore - my progesterone pessaries are made of wax. The wax goes in, the wax melts, the wax comes out... It's chaos down there. I'm planning to throw away all my underwear at 12w when I can stop taking the progesterone!

Lamaitresse · 02/06/2015 17:43

Hope you're doing as okay as you can be vroomer

We've not had great news today - had the results back from the blood test yesterday and my hcg level is only 228. I was hoping it'd be into the 1000's by now. Unless I ov'd really late then i can't see how it's going to be a healthy pregnancy Sad

jellypi3 · 02/06/2015 17:47

chin I'm not clued up on hcg levels but fingers crossed for you. Could your dates be wrong?

MemphisBella · 02/06/2015 17:55

I'm so sorry Vroomer. Look after yourself.

Chintaria - I've got everything crossed for you.

My phone is up and working again, yeeha! Crazy how much I normally check it, it really made me realize that I'm a bit addicted after not having it for 48 hours.

rallytog1 · 02/06/2015 18:06

Fingers crossed chintaria. Hcg levels aren't always the indicator of a viable pregnancy, so there is still hope. Are they planning to scan you or do another blood test?

Lamaitresse · 02/06/2015 18:13

My dates could be out I suppose, as I do tend to ovulate late. The tests have been getting darker each day so I'm a bit Confused I think I might go and get a repeat blood test on Thursday morning to see what's happening.
Thanks ladies Smile

Mawsymoo · 02/06/2015 18:30

Do get tested again after 48 hours Chin - it's not about the number it's about seeing the increase. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you
