Roll up roll up, come and join me clutching your BFP and wondering exactly what you've let yourself in for x

That is well clever jelly :) I am 3+5!

All done Chintaria :)

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 16:17

Great, thanks night Smile

It's very clever jelly, I wouldn't have a clue how to do that technophobe, me?

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 16:55

You can only add to the spreadsheet on a laptop / desktop, not a mobile device. learned that after several attempts and some swearing

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 16:59

Yeah sorry it's only editable on a PC or laptop :)

And I can't take all the credit, my DP has a degree in astro-physics so he helped Wink

Been getting some worrying cramps this afternoon, fingers crossed they are nothing.

accidentaldancer · 31/05/2015 17:04

Jelly - the spreadsheet is amazing - thank you!

Hi night - lovely to see you here. Did you also get your BFP this weekend?

I've just been out for a massive Sunday lunch. Can barely move now - thought I would make the most of it before any nausea kicks in. Think I will try and get out for a walk in the next few hours as it's finally stopped raining here.

Rufus200 · 31/05/2015 18:24

I forgot to say that I am also having a lot of uterine cramps (hourly) and also occasional pain in both ovaries. Is anyone else having similar pain?

pretzelpieces · 31/05/2015 18:45

rufus fairy and jelly yep I've got cramps, have had them all week - generally mild with the odd more painful one that scares me shitless

Also so emotional and tearful today. Hoping so desperately this pregnancy goes well. Have only ever been pg once before, it was an accidental one many years ago (but it was wanted) and I had an early MC.

pretzelpieces · 31/05/2015 18:46

rufus Oh yes and I'm having pains at the sides too. Have been assured it's normal by others here Smile

Vroomer33 · 31/05/2015 18:48

I have mild cramp type pain in that general area as well. Accompanied by bloating.

I'm fairly fit so was hoping I'd stay firm but I've got a little pot. I change clothes in front of my colleagues (I'm a nurse) so I hope no one notices!

On that note, I'm active and run lots, how much should I be doing and when should I scale back? You ladies who've done this before have advice?

GoulashSoup · 31/05/2015 19:08

Hello to all the new faces, congratulations on your BFPs! Especially exciting to see so many of you that have had such a journey to get to this point. Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Very glad of the astro-physics spread sheet Jelly, can't quite keep up without it.

Catnip, you must be somewhere near me.

Cheesypop · 31/05/2015 19:44

Rather tardy but i've added myself to the spreadsheet, jelly its a thing of beauty. As we get further on maybe we could sort by due date (so its in order of who should - in theory - go first!) and add the gender for those finding out? I'm sure such things are possible for a woman of your genius and skills... is flattery working? Grin

Lots of cramping here, glad of the reassurance that everyone seems to be experiencing it!

Vroomer I have stopped running already... I stopped immediately after my embryo transfer. You don't have to stop if you are super fit but i'm not really, and was worried about overheating. I admit I am on the extreme end of paranoid though! There is advice online about exercising in pregnancy which I read, the baby expert website has quite detailed advice. I plan to do none except walking in first trimester and then low impact yoga/pilates/swimming in second and third.

Mawsymoo · 31/05/2015 19:57

Great to hear of all the lovely fighting frosties and little miracles - will be keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

Vroomer just decrease the intensity of your running to a point where you could comfortably hold a conversation, and be careful on warmer days. It's about not letting your core temperature rise too much. Also don't panic about the tummy it's probably just bloat - I was very fit before having my son and kept my pregnancy a secret from colleagues until after my 20 week scan without any issues.

We just had a lovely day as it was my little boy's first birthday party. It was lovely to have all the family over to celebrate and i can't believe it's a full year since my dreams came true. I'm still feeling surprisingly energetic after all the food prep and entertaining which is great. I now have a cupboard full of wine and bubbly that all the guests brought and that I hopefully won't be able to touch until sometime in 2016!

Needssomesunshine · 31/05/2015 20:00

Hi everyone!

Can I join, had my BFP on Friday. 4+3 here with DC 3! Smile

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 20:03

Yeah I'll add scan dates and genders etc once we are all a bit further along maybe 8weeks?

I've stopped my regular excercise but it's because I played football for a ladies team. Running is fine but contact sports are bit dangerous I think.

twinsandapenguin · 31/05/2015 20:24

Congratulations on the latest BFPs ladies. Lovely to hear about the little miracle babies too Smile

I feel like crap. My back is so painful. It seems to be a combination of twinging it picking dd up on Friday and that horrible back pain that accompanies period pain. Not a lot of fun, and just in time for going back to work tomorrow! Luckily I survived the hen do and people seemed to buy my "still breastfeeding" excuse for not drinking.

Vroomer. I stayed pretty active throughout my last pregnancy. It all depends on how much exercise you did before. You want to avoid getting too hot so you might want to take it down a notch or two. I turned into the biggest clutz last time, falling over 3 times in the first trimester. So I quickly stopped the running to be on the safe side and stuck to the cross trainer in the gym. I kept it pretty light but kept active. I was still doing Pilates at 37 weeks, but a pregnancy class so the exercises were modified. I am looking forward to getting back to my pregnancy Pilates as I haven't done much the last 12 months due to the demands of dd

Perhaps someone could add me to the list.
Edd 4th Feb (according to the baby centre website). Baby no 2. 32, London

surferchic41212 · 31/05/2015 20:44

Purdie, yup.. I was on a bus a couple of months ago but couldn't keep up.. Plus, got a bit disheartened.. I had anovulation from May until last month when finally saw a specialist, who put me on clomid, and lo and behold, I bloomin ovulated! This moves so fast it's hard to keep up, but loving hearing about everyone's symptoms!

nightandthelight · 31/05/2015 20:55

Any other veggies on here? Gave just bought some algae oil for omega and my pregnacare has iron but wondering whether I should be getting in some protein bars/powder?

Vroomer33 · 31/05/2015 21:01

Thanks for the advice ladies Smile It's nice to have this space to ask questions rather than googling something and freaking out!

Spreadsheet is brilliant, good work jelly!

Is anyone else obsessively doing their kegals or just me Grin terrified!

nightandthelight · 31/05/2015 21:04

I plan to start tomorrow vroomer Grin

GoulashSoup · 31/05/2015 21:10

Raf, how is the toe?

surfer it is busy atm and will probably be so for a few weeks as people continue to get BFPs for Feb due dates, but I'm guessing it will calm down after that.

Vroomer, if you feel up to it then keep active. Just don't let yourself get breathless, ie chatting pace, stay hydrated and don't get too hot. I ran a half marathon at the begining of March but decided to drop the running then. Missing it a bit but I'm so tired I've decided to conserve energy for running around after DS. Did Zumba last week and was really breathless at points. That combined with dizziness has me self diagnosing anaemia by dilution as I'm drinking water for England.

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 21:16

Ah goulash thank you so much for asking Smile It's approx ONE BILLION times better today. I've been drinking cherry juice avoiding salt etc. very boring but worth it if it avoids that hideous pain. I have to go for a blood test and for a blood pressure check tomorrow. JOY.

sparklesandfizz · 31/05/2015 21:39

raff good news about the toe - steer clear of the port and well hung pheasant!

Welcome all newbies and congrats, too many to keep track of now

On hols tomorrow yay x

GoulashSoup · 31/05/2015 21:52

Enjoy sparkles, hope you have nice trip.

Good news Raf hope all ok tomorrow and it stays under control for you.

purdiepie · 31/05/2015 22:06

Yes, that is great news about the toe, Raff.

Forget kegels. You will never have full control of your bladder again.

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 22:17

Is it okay to do kegels now? I went to a Take That concert last weekend & managed a few seconds of jumping up and down before having to make a swift exit in the direction of the loo GrinBlush
Mine are pretty much wrecked already!
