chin, purdie extra congrats for you, that's marvellous.

Feeling sick today again and going to the cinema later. Had half a chicken sandwich at 6am which after a while allowed me to go back to sleep as felt less ill. So a little better rested today thank goodness.

pretzelpieces · 31/05/2015 12:26

And cat and night extra congrats sorry! Didn't mean to leave you out x

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 12:32

Congrats chin :)

surferchic41212 · 31/05/2015 13:04

Hello all, can I join? I got my bfp on Friday, and have been feeling enormously bloated already! This is #2 for me, my first is 2.5 and we've been trying for a year..

surferchic41212 · 31/05/2015 13:06

Oh, and by dates I'm due 7th feb.. And have been on clomid, so feeling so thankful it's finally worked!

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 13:11

Welcome and congrats surfer.

Pretzel - your chicken sandwich made me laugh. I like your style Grin

I work in central London and have a two hour door to door commute each way so slightly concerned about how I'm going to handle the morning sickness on a packed commuter train. When I was pg with DS I had a much shorter, quieter journey. Joy.

pretzelpieces · 31/05/2015 13:18

raf Grin

Congrats surfer and welcome along!

Cheesypop · 31/05/2015 13:27

Welcome to all the new BFPs and especially to a fellow ICSI FET graduate catnip. Fingers crossed our little frosties stick with us until February Smile

purdiepie · 31/05/2015 14:04

Congrats to you, too, Chintaria Grin The body is freakishly unpredictable, weird and wonderful, is it not? I am thanking God on my knees for this miracle and praying it sticks, what with the 50% miscarriage rate for women my age

Hello to all newbies, and congratulations!

Montague, I love the Foos, especially Learn To Fly. That video cracks. me. up.

Surfer, have we met before on a ttc thread? Were you on Bumsnet Angry Pubes thread? Any of the buses? Night, can you believe there are three Bumsnetters on this antenatal thread? You, Accidental and me Shock

I have few symptoms other than occasionally stingy nipples, an increased desire to masturbate and an inability to deal with my baby's poonamis

Drunkendonut · 31/05/2015 14:07

Hi and welcome to the newbies.
I'm driving myself mad. This is my 8th pregnancy, 6th baby and you'd think Id be chilled about it by now. But I'm still doing tests and willing them to get darker. Thankfully one I did today (despite saying I wouldnt) was loads darker than yesterday's.
When I had my 2 losses at 4w 5d the tests stayed pretty light so I'm feeling good.
With my last pregnancy I didn't find out until I was 8 weeks. How nice was that? No stressing, except for the fact I had an implant in my arm which had to be removed sharpish!
I have a son and four daughters! My house is mental at the moment. DS just finished his first year at uni so he's dossing around and being a smelly 18 year old. DD 1 is a complete perfectionist in the middle of her AS levels desperate for A's so she's a stress head.
Little DDs are lush though :) infant school/nursery age is amazing. Wish I could bottle their enthusiasm for learning.
So we have a few clomid/Ivf miracles on the thread? Amazing. My very good friend spent years going through the various processes unsuccessfully so I know a fair bit about it. She eventually adopted then had a baby naturally at the grand old age of 44!
raff I've got the light headed ness massively. Plus a raging thirst. But otherwise not bad.

Rufus200 · 31/05/2015 14:19

Hi can I join too please?
I'm 34. Got my 1st ever BFP yesterday, will be due 09/02. Took 2 cycles of clomid to get it as I have PCOS.

Sore boobs, metallic taste, mild nausea and lots of light headiness so far.

themumfairy · 31/05/2015 14:26

hiya can I join Grin
3rd pregnancy and due 5th Feb (my prediction) 6 years since I've benefits pregnant so struggling to remember all the little bits. I've had period pains for the last week, is this normal? it's almost constant x

nightandthelight · 31/05/2015 14:40

Wow this thread is filling up fast, am a newbie myself so feel silly welcoming people so will wave instead :)

We are evidently a fertile lot in bumsnet world Purdie! Great to have some fellow bumsnetters here Grin

rallytog1 · 31/05/2015 14:41

Welcome and congratulations everyone!

Mumfairy I've been having lots of cramps too. It constantly feels like my period is coming. I think it's normal - pretty sure I had the same last time I was pg.

themumfairy · 31/05/2015 14:54

thankyou Rally. I'm really worried this time and i don't know why. I'm a hormonal emotional mess. only close family know but I'm worried everyone will soon figure it out cuz I'm not myself at all. I'm so tired I feel like 40 weeks not 4 haha. I really want to enjoy this pregnancy as it will probably be my last. Sad xx

nightandthelight · 31/05/2015 14:57

Hugs fairy! I have heard lots of people say that they felt that AF was about to arrive at any minute for weeks so sounds like it's quite normal :) know what you mean about emotional, I burst into tears in the cinema yesterday over an advert!

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 15:10

purdie YY to masturbation! Glad it's not just me...I've held out so far but it's killing me as I'm terrified of another MC. Totally irrational, but as it's basically the law to be irrational whilst pregnant I think I'm being reasonable. I'm desperate for the horniness to end.

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 15:11

Oh and again, hello to the newbies. totally loses track of thread

CatnipMouse · 31/05/2015 15:13

Congratulations everyone and thank you for the nice friendly welcome!

Chintaria how nice to hear of your success with a frozen ICSI tiny, how amazing to get pregnant naturally this time! And cheesy I'd not realised yours had been frozen too, hurray for us and our frosties. (How about the name Elsa if they're female?! Hmm perhaps not)

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 15:38

We've not DTD since I got my bfp, I'm really paranoid about it , especially because I was spotting for 3 days. I understand the horniness though!

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 15:39

Oh here's the spreadsheet for new folk to add themselves to. We can add the link to the opening post on the next thread :) docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dWmvdD9SkvPQqKn7rpFHazgufmda2FOTMtL093cZFj8/edit?usp=sharing

nightandthelight · 31/05/2015 15:43

Thanks jelly, to work out my weeks do I count from last lmp? So I am on CD25 so is that 3w4d?

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 15:55

If you put in your due it date it should work out your weeks automatically, if not I'll sort it later :)

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 15:57

Jelly you clever wotsit. I am shite with stuff like that.

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 15:59

I can't seem to add to the spreadsheet jelly, perhaps because I'm on an iPhone?
If somebody could add me please I'd be really grateful! My info is Chintaria, 39, 03/02/2016, 4+5, dc #3, Belgium. Thanks so much!!!
