Gosh this thread moves fast!
Birdandbee good luck testing, one of us is going to need to change nicknames it's going to get confusing have two birds Wink
Can't remember who's said what but sorry to whoever has the bad foot and very jealous of whoever jas a scan date already, we've decided we're not going to tell anyone till after the scan this time but going to be hard to keep the secret so long! I have a doctors appointment on monday to be referred to midwife. Hope they can work out a due date for me as my cycles have been really irregular I'm guessing February by counting 40 weeks from lmp but not really how you work it out. I can practically pinpoint exact day I got pg but remember last time they weren't interested and only care about period dates....

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 07:25

Morning all!

purdie - 'saggy tits' Grin

birdandbee just poas. It's the only way to know. The 'thrill' of ttc is the immense similarity between AF and pregnancy symptoms, so googling will reveal nothing.

I'm just inserting some cheese on toast into my face. Mmmmm. Best Sunday breakfast.

Only 19 days until my early scan totally not counting. I'll be 8 weeks. Anyone else got an early one booked?

tossedsalads · 31/05/2015 07:46

Oooh Am lying in bed feeling a bit yuck. I feel like I'm on a boat....my very first symptom.
Trying to get the energy to go downstairs for a cuppa.
So jealous of scan dates, I can't even get a doctor's appointment for another week!

Almost forgot I was pg yesterday and was planning a nice cool glass of wine with dinner! It's going to be a strange summer with no wine. Although the weather here is so crap I doubt we will get a summer.
Finding the caffeine thing most difficult though, nothing I like more than a tall cappuccino. Milky tea just isn't the same, although I will prob go off that soon like in my previous pregs.

Hopitpopit · 31/05/2015 08:02

Morning everyone. Hope you are having good weekends so far. Raff sorry to hear about your toe, sounds nasty, I hope it eases off soon. Bird good luck POAS.
Congratulations to everyone who has just made it here.
Met some friends for a picnic in the park yesterday, completely shattered after a couple of hours, I'm feeling rubbish with the hit by a bus tiredness, not sure I'll be able to keep going. I have to go to a dinner meeting for work on Wednesday, at this rate I'll be nodding off into the soup. All the fresh air yesterday and late night Friday from the wedding has worn DS out so on the upside he is still asleep so I am having a nice lie in Smile
I only have a tablet with me too and not back home until Thursday. Would someone be kind enough to add me to the stats please: Hopitpopit, 37, EDD 1st Feb, 1 DC, 4+6 Dublin/London.

Vroomer33 · 31/05/2015 08:34

You ladies are so organised. I haven't even told my gp yet! And you have scan dates and appointments. I've been so busy at work, it's thankfully distracting. Must call tomorrow Grin
Symptoms wise I feel a bit nauseous this morning. Like being hungover without the fun part!

rallytog1 · 31/05/2015 08:36

Morning all. I've added you to the spreadsheet sparkles and hopitpopit.

Good luck for poas today bird - just remember that it might be a tad early to get a positive result even if you are pregnant. Tests have never worked for me until my period has been late, even the ones that claim to be sensitive. So don't give up hope if it's not the answer you want yet.

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 09:10

raff my early scan is either the 15th (so 15 days) or the 8th (so 8 days!!) but I'm pushing for the 15th because I'll only be 6+2 on 8th.

Cheesypop · 31/05/2015 09:13

It's 21 days till my early scan, when I should be 7w2d. I think we'll pay for a private scan at 9/10 weeks and then get the nhs one at 12-13 weeks. So hoping to have one every 3 weeks until the second trimester. 12 weeks feel like a long way away. Sad

I'm not feeling sick and not gone off tea or coffee... No symptoms at all! tossed I've been drinking decaf tea and coffee since the start of the year and you do get some decent ones. I drink decaf coffee from The Bean Shop in Perth and it's yummy. The best tea is the decaf from Marks and Spencer. Not a fan of their coffee but their tea is delish! Brew speaking of which I'm off for another.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 09:17

tossed I've been having decaf stuff too. Starbucks are very good at converting my daily soya latte to a baby-friendly version Grin

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 09:18

Ive been having 1 normal tea a day, that's it.

Hopitpopit · 31/05/2015 09:25

Thanks a lot Rally Smile
I haven't got any appointments or seen anyone yet either. They don't seem to want to see you in Ireland until 12 weeks I think but will try and book in a private scan for a couple of weeks time when I'm about 7 weeks. Cheesy I had scans about the same times last time, 7, 10 and 13 weeks and that just about kept me going. The first trimester is so hard, no one knows and there's little medical support, but it all seems so fragile.
Brew and Cake to all.

pretzelpieces · 31/05/2015 10:16

birdbrain I'll try to remember to call birdandbee bee! We had two pickles on JSers but it was generally clear by context who we were replying to Smile

bee I (and many others) recommend Superdrug early result as they are sensitive - that's how I got my certain bfp after squinting at faint lines on ICs for several days and all the other JSers hollering at me to poa FRER lol

sparklesandfizz · 31/05/2015 10:29

Thanks rally
Project get sparkles family on holiday is go. Cleaning & packing like a woman possessed. At least it's raining, baby going down for first nap fx for a big one x

I drank cans of energy drink throughout my last pregnancy and I currently imbibe four per day. I don't believe in the dangers of caffeine on pregnancy

CatnipMouse · 31/05/2015 11:15

Hello everyone - may I join you? I am in the same boat as cheesy in that I have a tiny IVF embryo that has made itself at home. I got the official positive test yesterday. I think due date is end Jan / early Feb. Are there any other IVF 'graduates' here yet?

I'm hoping that I have a survivor in here. This one has somehow made it through (so far) after ICSI, then being frozen, then surviving the defrost process and digging in. So it has very much beaten the odds so far - hang on in there, you tough little tiny. In fact I might have two snuggled in there as they transferred two embryos. That's a little scary but very unlikely. First scan in a couple of weeks time at 7 weeks and that's when we'll find out.

This would be our first baby, I'm 39. I'm just hoping at the moment that it stays put - I got pregnant naturally about 18 months ago but lost it at about 6 weeks, so once I'm past that point I might feel a bit more like this is actually happening. Hopefully all the hormones that the clinic have me on will help this one stay put. Before I tested, and throughout the whole cycle, I was very pessimistic about the chances of this working, as frozen cycles have lower success rates than fresh IVF cycles, and I'm getting on a bit. So I was very surprised to see the faint line on the first test I did.

Good luck everyone and wishing us all smooth progress!

nightandthelight · 31/05/2015 11:19

Hello ladies, May I pop my head round the door? Got my bfp this morning but trying not to get too excited! Different apps give me different edd but seems to be between 8-11 Feb :)

Stats: nightandthelight, TTC1, cycle 4, BFP 31/05/2015!

jellypi3 · 31/05/2015 11:25

Welcome catnip and mouse :) congrats on your bfp's.

Thread is getting busier now! :)

pretzelpieces · 31/05/2015 11:31

Welcome cat and night!

NoMontagues · 31/05/2015 11:43

Hi everyone and congrats to new bfps!

I spent yesterday at a muddy festival (foo fighters) which was an interesting experience without alcohol! I actually really enjoyed it, although the friend I was with sussed in about 5 seconds flat that I was pregnant. I can trust her not to tell anyone else though.

I got home about 11.30pm and promptly fell asleep on the sofa, but other than the tiredness I'm still having no symptoms. I'm a tiny bit anxious about that if I'm honest, as my boobs usually kill me.

NoMontagues · 31/05/2015 11:44

Oh I'll go to laptop now and do my stats Smile

purdiepie · 31/05/2015 12:09

Catnip, what a thrill to have a bfp from FET! Congratulations! Thanks I have a fourteen-month-old daughter conceived via donor egg IVF (time was running out and, after a mmc, I didn't trust my own eggs). I have just got a bfp naturally! I'm 43! With only one tube! Grin

Much luck to you for your pregnancy; it is very, very special.

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 12:14

Hi everyone, can I join too please? Got several BFP's over the last few days need to stop testing and EDD is 3rd Feb. This will be dc3 and is a complete surprise Grin This will be my 11th pregnancy and dc2 took 6 years and 5 rounds of IVF, so as you can imagine we can't quite believe it's happened!

Catnip dd was a frozen embryo after ICSI too Smile I had all but given up, and had never had a hint of a bfp with other frozen embryos. The ones that make it through are little fighters.

Birdbrain what about counting back 14 days from the day you got pg and give them that date for the date of your last period? Would stop any messing around, esp if you know Smile

Well congrats to all other BFP's Smile Does anyone get bad sickness? Mine had already started so began medication yesterday. Bleurgh!

Raffertys · 31/05/2015 12:17

Welcome newbies, it's so lovely to see so many people joining Flowers

God I am feeling pregnant today...sore boobs, nausea, lightheaded...not that I'm going to moan about it.

How is everyone doing today?

Lamaitresse · 31/05/2015 12:19

Wow purdie another miracle baby, congratulations! Bet you can't believe it either Grin
