So BFP this am. Edd 30/1/16 however this is dc4 and the othe 3 have all been at least 2 weeks late.
Starting this thread to preserve my sanity next January. If I join the jan lot I'll be left on my tod so...I'm 35 this will be dc4 if all goes well, cycle 2 of trying so feeling blessed.

pretzel I have quite a few pains and cramps as well, no idea what's going on in there but just hoping it's just my insides stretching to accommodate their new guest

I've got pains on one side too (the left) - I had these with DD and when I had an early scan due to bleeding, they explained that they were implantation/stretching pains. Apparently if it's ectopic it'll be in your shoulder blade?

I've just thrown up changing the baby's pooey nappy. Never, ever bothered me before

I hope to be joining you all in the next few days.... First day I can test is tomorrow! If I'm prego I'm around 3Wk 4 days.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is really bloated ? My stomach is usually fairly flat but it's really very swollen ... From the bottom of my bra to the top of my pants...my hands are also so swollen, my wedding ring has cut in.

I have been pregnant before but it ended in an early miscarriage... But I didn't have as many symptoms even at 6wks as I do now...

Would call NHS direct but feel a stupid as I don't know if I'm definitely pregnant yet . Bit worried

Oh and scan letters coming through = EXCITING! I don't even have my GP appointment until Friday, but I have to go in on Monday for a blood test and blood pressure check due to the sodding gout.

No... I'm not actually going to call NHS direct. That would be rather over the top!!
I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing what I am . Tiny bit concerned because my stomach is so swollen (my boobs are resting on on top of my stomach)and I can't seem to find any mention online of this being a common symptom....

Can I join in? I think I'm due at the very end of January but that thread has a lot of people much further on so I'd feel more at home here.

This is my 4th pregnancy - I had 2 mcs before having my little boy who is 1. I'm really hoping and praying that this one works out too. So far I'm feeling pretty okay - I had a lot of nausea on the last pregnancy so I'm nearly hoping it will kick in as a sign that things are progressing! The biggest difference so far is the bloating - my tummy looks huge! I was still in my normal clothes at 20 weeks the last time but I think my stomach muscles are slack this time and I'm going to show a lot earlier. But the bloating is terrible so if anyone has any tips...

Because I have every other early symptom going! Because my cycles and ovulation were monitored so I know that intercourse was timed perfectly...

So I'm guessing no one else who knows they are pregnant is experiencing this degree of bloating swelling...??

Can I also join in please? I've had 5 BFPs over the last 3 days so finally coming around to the idea that I might be pregnant and very excited!

Purdie - fabulous to see you here. You've been so helpful to so many on the conception threads so was thrilled to see you had made it here. I stepped off the buses earlier in the year to try and be a bit more relaxed about things but did occasionally lurk to see how you were all doing.

I'm off on holiday on Monday with my Mum - I figure that I can't get away with not drinking for an entire week without her getting suspicious and I am going to have to tell her. Also means that she knows in case anything bad happens whilst we are away. However, if we tell her DH also wants to tell his parents - seems fair but a bit anxious about it being so early!

Wish you luck bird, I hope you get the result you want. Just remember just because you timed shagging perfectly and you have symptoms doesn't mean you are deffo pregnant so don't be too upset if not :)

Thanks purdie yeah that's what I thought but apparently it measures how preg you are, leaflet then says how a doctor would date the pregnancy. Not sure this pic came out well. It says a reading of 2-3 would be dated by a doc as 4-5 weeks.

Feeling reassured by it for now anyway! continues keeping everything crossed
