twinsandapenguin · 30/05/2015 09:05

Me neither

Raffertys · 30/05/2015 09:49

I think what I have in my toe is gout. Fucking bloody hell. It hurts so much. I have an emergency appointment at 1pm Sad Sad Sad NHS 111 were amazing. Anyone ever had gout before?

IVF ladies...you are carriers of even more incredible little miracles.

teaandcake2016 · 30/05/2015 10:03

Love the spreadsheet, but can't add either. Great idea though!

jellypi3 · 30/05/2015 10:08

Ahh I'll fix it hang on

jellypi3 · 30/05/2015 10:11

ok try now, should be editable :)

GoulashSoup · 30/05/2015 10:13

Thanks for the spreadsheet jelly I can't add either though.

Raf if it is gout it can be really painful. My Dad has it and chooses to control it with diet. He avoids red meat and beer, but eats fish and chicken. Otherwise a veg based diet but avoiding asparagus and mushrooms as those are high in purines. He drinks nettle tea and cherry juice to help breakdown the purines so they aren't made into uric acid.

jellypi3 · 30/05/2015 10:18

Try it now goulash i think i've fixed it :)

raf that sounds painful! good luck at your appointment today

sparklesandfizz · 30/05/2015 10:20

Can't add either jelly - just tried now x

Raffertys · 30/05/2015 10:43

Jelly that's great - thanks for the spreadsheet.

Goulash Thank you for the advice. That's really helpful. I'm totally taken aback by the pain; it is indescribable. I've been sat on the sofa with my foot up for an hour which has eased it but fuck standing up or trying to move - I just had to crawl to the bathroom on my hands and knees I don't really eat red meat and haven't had any alcohol for a couple of weeks so not sure why it's come on so suddenly; and it doesn't appear to be linked to early pregnancy.

Hope everyone else is having a better day Grin

GoulashSoup · 30/05/2015 10:52

I've managed to add to the spreadsheet, couldn't do it from iPad, has to be a real computer.

Curlywurlies · 30/05/2015 11:01

Hope your toe starts to ease a bit today Raf, it sounds horrible.

I had a fantastic time at my friend's hen party yesterday - no one said anything about my drink choices (not even sure if anyone noticed tbh). Only abandoned one drink I was given without asking for. Spent the day feeling astonished to be pregnant (even though it's still so early!) and enjoying that feeling.

Will update spreadsheet when I'm home with a computer.

purdiepie · 30/05/2015 11:27

I've added you Drunk I can't believe you're on your sixth nipper. Is there no telly in your gaff? Grin

I thought gout was what you fix yer tiles wiv. I'm sorry you're in pain with it, Rafferty, the pain you describe sounds like the cellulitis I once had. Howling I was. I hope you get some respite soon Thanks

Curly, I love that astonishment. Sometimes I stop what I'm doing and go, 'Blimey! I'm preggo!' but then at other times - like this morning when I had a fourteen month-old tot clinging to my ankles and whining like a rabid dingo whilst I'm trying to iron her corduroy, multi-frilled ra-ra skirt - I think 'What the frig have I done?' Hmm

jellypi3 · 30/05/2015 11:31

I still don't believe it fully, I guess because my "symptoms" have been so minor so far, I just worry I'll get to the scan and they will say "yeh we know you had 10,000 positive but guess what, your just really unlucky".

Vroomer33 · 30/05/2015 12:29

I know how you feel jelly. It's all surreal atm. Will maybe sink in when I miss another period. Or if/when the dreaded nausea kicks in! Wink

Cheesypop · 30/05/2015 12:48

Thanks for the support re ivf everyone. It's means a lot to me! Flowers I've had my beta today and they said they were looking for any result over 50. Mine was 309! Smile so a very healthy result. I have an early scan at 7w3d so I'm on the countdown to that.

Thanks for the spreadsheet - I will go onto a proper computer and add my details. I can't believe I'm getting to do something like that, it's amazing!

Sorry to hear about the toe Raf I hope you get it sorted soon, what a nightmare.

Still have no symptoms or nausea but I'm only four weeks today so there's still plenty of time for that to kick in. Possibly once I've worked my way through the dozen celebration doughnuts we bought at Krispy Kreme en route home from hospital Blush

Raffertys · 30/05/2015 14:41

Cheesy that's a great result! Yay!

So I officially have gout. Fucks sake. And I can't take any pain meds Sad

purdiepie · 30/05/2015 14:42

I had betas done on Tuesday when I got my bfp at 13dpo, Cheesy. It was 272 and when I returned on Thursday to see if it had doubled it was 566 Grin

GoulashSoup · 30/05/2015 14:53

Awesome news Cheesy it is looking promising! Glad all going well for you too purdie.

Sorry that it is gout Raf. Sounds like you need to put your feet up and invest in some cherry juice. I think Dad may even have got some sour cherry condensed tablets from somewhere. I hope this episode passes quickly for you Flowers

Raffertys · 30/05/2015 15:27

Thanks goulash, I'm currently enjoying a marathon Teen Mom session on MTV mature with my foot up and frozen mixed veg in a bag on it Grin. DH has taken DS out to get some cherry juice.

How is everyone's day going?

pretzelpieces · 30/05/2015 15:30

Oh no, sorry about the gout raf and I hope it passes quickly.

cheesy and purdie how exciting!!

vroom the nausea is definitely chipping away at the surreal feeling! My body is making sure I know I'm pregnant. Not enjoying that obviously but it is sort of reassuring me in a weird way.

I've been getting pains in right ovary area (not severe) as well as uterus cramps. Hopefully it's nothing to worry about. It feels better when I press on it, which makes me think it's not to do with ectopic risk?

pretzelpieces · 30/05/2015 15:39

Oh and thanks for the spreadsheet jelly, clever you. Have added myself. Grin
