Know what you mean arete, these nine months have gone very quickly! And it's scary how many babies we've already had and it's not even July yet It's making me excited for our own arrival though, knowing I'll be term on Monday so very close now, eek any time!

Anyone got any nice plans for the weekend? I'll mostly be trying to avoid the sun and heat!

Well in Scotland the weather is 'manageable' for want of a better word - namely crap I am not complaining though . I thought I would be struggling by now. It is humid. And I am really looking forward to having a summer baby, that's a positive

We have started the 'West Highland Way' Broody which is a walk from central to North Scotland through beauty spots etc. Been driving to different bits each day. With rain jackets on
It is lovely. DH is trying to encourage labour, between the walking and hot food (south indian) and even an excellent attempt at dtd. I am just enjoying it all though and I don't think baby has got the memo we are comfy haha.

I'm In Costa had my hot croissant and just heading for the hills

Oooh lovely costa and croissant setting you up for your walk. You're lucky it's a bit cooler up there. It is already 22 here and my feet are starting to swell. Baby bath will be filled with icy cold water for my feet later, lol! Xx

Ooh broody at least tell us how many babies have arrived on FB.

Broody I had proper pig trotters yesterday! Not got a bowl big enough for feet dipping, but do have our baby bath now you've given me that idea!!!!!

Arete sounds like your doing Lots of fun enjoyable things before baby might arrive. And Charlie bet you can't wait for your little babymoon away.

I hope you're getting the support you need must, can't wait to hear of baby's arrival (fingers crossed it you we can expect the next announcement from). You'll be so pleased and forget all the drama you had.

My last day at work was emotional, busy, hectic and fun. Cried again when first got to work when my secretary and other admin asked how I was feeling. Then got on with working hard!

Everyone was so lovely buying me breakfast, lunch out, drinks etc. Got a large pram shaped card, gorgeous flowers and basically lots of mothercare vouchers (they know ive bought lots so wouldn't have bought me stuff as knew id prob have it). So we can buy our icandy footmuff for winter as their gift so that's fab. Then totally unexpected lots of bday cards for Monday too from individual girls and little bday presents too.

I cried more when everyone was leaving and saying bye. I was last leaving the office!!!!!!!

Doesn't feel real until maybe next week when I don't actually go work!

having a simple, do nowt day today. then a wedding evening do tonight. with this heat what I fit my feet into will determine potential outfit!

Small I thought it could be you after one of your comments about bh, p pains, Back ache etc!!!

I should get up now really, but lying in bed til 10:30am is soon gonna be a thing of the past so I'm enjoying it now.

5 singletons lol. 4 boys, 3 girls. It's hard to keep up! This is from 34 ladies expecting 36 babies :)

NCT course day 1 was really good, I was a bit worried as I'd heard they can be pretty inflexible about breasfeeding, natural births etc but our coordinator was lovely. Good group of parents to be too, can totally see us catching up with some of the other couples.

Yes 5 sorry!! I'm losing count!!

I had to do a couple of counts and hard thinking to remember the five! Haha! Soon be some more popping out I'm sure. V exciting!

I had to really think hard to be sure I hadn't missed anyone. 20% of the fb babies already and it's not even July yet. Eek!

getting really bad stabby pains in my cervix and cramps unfortunately there's no set pattern so it's just bh. still painful though.

got told today I'm enormous and that I won't be long now. also had an old lady tell me I should be at home resting for these last couple of days of pregnancy and not out buying baby stuff! I'm 36+3

Hi all, just popping on to let you know my little boy arrived on Thursday evening. I was only 37+5 so a bit unexpected - I had been at work all day and noticed a few mildly uncomfortable tightenings, got home about 8, proper contractions started about 9.30 and he was here at 11.02pm. I had him at home and the midwife only arrived with 5 minutes to spare! I'm still getting my head around the fact I have a second DS slightly ahead of schedule but feeling very thankful and lucky to have had a smooth home birth and healthy little boy. Hope all those still pregnant are coping with the heat and huge congratulations to those whose little ones have arrived.

Big congrats mister! So many of these babies arriving early! Glad to hear all went well with the birth and you got a home birth. Any name yet? Xxx

gosh.it really could be anytime for us all now... 37+3 and wondering when it'll be I get to meet our little chap. exciting.

We have progressed slightly (midwife could feel baby's head when doing internal/sweep, pains more intense) but little pain in the butt has decided to settle back to back which isn't helping! Still only at 3cms (but stretchy and v thin) and pains still regular, had another sweep so hoping things will start moving on.

Sounds like things are going in the right direction must. Fx you may even have your baby in your arms by now x
