Wow Broody her exact words were almost there. Great, wonder how much longer....not that I am in a hurry.

I am currently enjoying the quiet me time Grin, not had that in a while. Having the TV to myself and the few hours I have to make the house look tidy and enjoy the look before OH gets home and unravels it all.. Men! Ha ha ha.

broodylicious · 18/06/2015 19:31

small, a woman said to me in the pet shop the other day "you can't have long left?" Put her hand on my bump without asking or a thought, stepped back and said "gosh, and there's just the one in there? Are you sure?!" Oh the preggo rage Angry Just lie to me and say I have a lovely pg glow if you're going to insist on talking to me!!

joy, haha! Well there you go then, almost there! Must be trueSmile You're so good continuing with your gym btw. Kudos to you!

I never advocate trying to coax out baby earlier than term - they come when they're cooked and ready - but seriously, I am just fed up with it all now. I swore I'd never moan about being pregnant after my mc but the heat, the lack of sleep, the toddler never slowing down just cos mummy's upduffed, the continued sickness and nausea, the restless legs and feet...it's all getting to me. I'm annoyed about that because I will never be pregnant again so I should enjoy it! Grrrr.

JoY007 · 18/06/2015 21:10

Ha broody I now ignore, I am of the opinion they are trying to make conversation and don't appreciate how sensitive we are to those comments.

Sherbet38 · 18/06/2015 22:58

Welcome shsSmile

joY I'm the same, bag all packed, but no clothes packed to come home in. I only have 2 pairs of trousers that fit now, so I can't think about packing them! I may buy some jogging trousers, nice and comfy to come home in.

I had a growth scan today. All was OK, bump is small but baby is actually above average. But they want to keep monitoring me, so back in twice in the next week. So consultant led for know. I'm hopeful they'll sign me back over midwife led care soon though, the midwife send optimistic they would.

smallgreenbanana · 18/06/2015 23:41

Everyone says my bump is "neat" (even complete strangers!) by which they really mean "small and pointy" but whenever a MW measures it is always on date. I think it's secretly hiding a giant. Wink

LO is doing something tonight that feels like burrowing. It is a very odd feeling Confused

sherbert hope you get signed back to MW soon

joy bought some baggy jogging bottoms for going home in too (just in case)

jmojo · 19/06/2015 05:37

broody & joy when we write 4/5 it always means that there is 4/5 palpable not 4/5 engaged. I have never come across someone who uses it any other way. It is the way we are trained. I am not saying that there are exceptions but we are trained to write how much we feel in the abdomen, so 4/5 palp or 4/5 engaged means the same thing as illogical as it may seem. It would get too confusing if some were referring to what they felt in the abdomen and others what had gone into the pelvis. As most of the time we just write ceoh 4/5. With no qualification of it. I would say that Joy you are 4/5 which means just the top of the baby's head is in the pelvis.

LaLaLaaaa · 19/06/2015 07:47

Morning everyone! Not written for a while

36+3, measuring 37cm and 3/5 baby down in pelvis apparently. All good.

I'm so ready for pregnancy to be over. I'm knackered. But haven't packed bag yet or finished nursery, should probably do that!

Finish work today hooray!

smallgreenbanana · 19/06/2015 09:21

lala Hurrah for finishing work!

I just knew that as soon as I dozed off for a nap the TENS machine hire package would arrive.. And so it was! I didn't think I could still move so fast!!

Number3cometome · 19/06/2015 09:52

Had a couple of cheeky days off sick, but back at work today and SPD is ruining my life already!

I'm off Monday thankfully, and then only have 4 day weeks until I finish on the 10th of July - 3 more weeks to go woohoo!

Met my friend for lunch yesterday, she bought me some gorgeous baby Gap stuff and a Slumber Buddy. He is like a bee, with lights and sounds, it's brilliant. I think it will help me sleep until baby is born ha!

35+5 and feeling nervous excited about only having 3 weeks and 4 days until my csection!!

Aretepetite · 19/06/2015 10:15

Oh my days... Preggo rage has kicked in here :(
Random crying and anger Confused
It feels illogical as I know I don't really have justification for these feelings yet I can't stop myself.

Bloody heck !!!

Luckystar82 · 19/06/2015 12:26

Last day at work for me before maternity leave. Not actually sure how I'm going to get through all the work I need to complete and there is no one to hand over to as it is project-based. Might be a late one tonight. :(

36+4 today, feeling ok otherwise

Luckystar82 · 19/06/2015 12:31

My sympathies are with you number hope you manage to get through the last few weeks ok.

For those who are experiencing touching I know how you feel! I went to a work do last week with people from the company across the UK and some senior colleagues were asking to touch my bump. Was really weird as we're quite professional. The people who asked to touch were not who I would have expected. Some people seemed obsessed by me, kept asking how I was and rubbing me....was very strange!

Have had at least 3 people tell me I'm not going to last past next week etc. I bet I go 1 week overdue!

Got my first stretch marks this week, very low on bump, look more like scratches. :(

Fattycow · 19/06/2015 13:03

I've had my baby. She was born Wednesday and is perfect! I'm in love...

Clstow · 19/06/2015 14:13

Congratulations Fatty! I still can't quite believe the babies are coming already...

I'm also feeling the preg emotion now Arete, really struggling at work today and everything is testing my patience. Only 3 weeks left at work after today. Bring. It. On.

Thepurplegiraffe · 19/06/2015 14:28

Wow congratulations Fatty hope everything went well, another early baby!
You are all giving me a kick up the arse to get organised. Having said that mine is firmly breech so probably won't arrive any time soon. I hope not this weekend anyway as I have to travel to a wedding 4 hours away.
Huge sympathy for anyone still on work. 37 weeks tomorrow!

JoY007 · 19/06/2015 14:34

Hello Ladies,

Was going through the thread gradually and got to fattycow. Congratulations to you and your DH on the birth of your baby girl, trust you are doing well xx.

Thank Jmojo for the explanation Smile.

Just met a friend with a 3 month old baby girl for brunch lovely, and her little girl is the cutest ever. Now off home to have a nap, after I was denied sleep by carpal tunnelSad

MuddyWellyNelly · 19/06/2015 14:48

Wow congratulations Fatty. The babies are really starting to arrive now. I'm only 34+3 so hoping nothing happens soon, but another firmly breech one here so chances are I'm not going into spontaneous labour any time soon! Was at MW this morning though and otherwise all is well.

My only issue is I've started to freak out about hiccups. I don't mind the movements, in fact they are lovely and reassuring, even if they get a bit painful. But LO has had hiccups a couple of times now, and they make me feel a bit sick. Is this weird? It feels like a really strong pulse in my belly and I don't like it :(. I can't explain why though. Last night I actually felt like I was having a bit of a panic attack about it. I feel very silly about it, too.
