Zampa, congratulations on the birth of your little girl. I'll be thinking of her (and of you and Mr Zampa). I hope she will recover soon so you'll be able to take her home with you.
We all understand if you cannot update us, as you have more important things on your mind. But if you do get a chance, please let us know how she is doing!

Hello! Heart burn and swollen feet have kicked on this week! Wah! Can't add myself to the stats chart, is that because I'm on my phone?
Also, I have strep b so need antibiotics I labour. Does this mean I have to go to hospital at the first twinge? I've still got 9 weeks but want to be sure I know who to do and when, very keen not to miss a dose!

kelzkeen · 23/05/2015 00:04

Hi I'm new and don't understand what marking your place is, do I need to do it or is it a metaphorical marking lol.

jmojo · 23/05/2015 02:12

nursep with group B the aim is to get at leat 2 doses of IV antibiotics in before the birth. They are given 4 hours apart. If you think you waters have broken you should call and go in immediately. Otherwise you can wait till the conventional 2-3 contractions in 10 min. (First baby) Maybe 2/10 with a second. You could call once you think you are definitely labouring if you want to be sure. I would also talk to the mw antenatally to check your hospital's policy is on when you go in. It can vary from place to place a little sometimes.

JoY007 · 23/05/2015 02:40

Hi kelzkeen good to have you on board.

Yes you're right, no need to do anything, besides entering your details on the stats. Not sure who has the link, but no doubt will post soon Smile advising you.

How far gone are you? xx

Zampa · 23/05/2015 05:52

Thanks to you all. Your thoughts and prayers mean a lot to me. I'll be back to let you know how we fare.

Good luck with all of your pregnancies.

Purple and Charlie thank you for sharing your stories it's nice to hear from others in same position. It just feels endless and like I should have a baby by now but same time I feel he's even more precious to me and I can't wait Grin to meet him.

MrsF thank you! Am I right in thinking we had a chat once and discovered we will be at same hospital too? Sussex area?

Thank you meeskamooska you're really kind. Been long year and my mind is tired but happy that he's almost here at last!
