Stinky, I'm 37+4 today, so I could very well have 4.5 weeks left of waiting!

Butler, I'm the same gestation as you and sort of in the same boat. If I go to 41 weeks, my DH will be free for 5 weeks from then. So it would be nice if baby stays put until then so daddy can be there fulltime for the first few weeks. But on the other hand, I'm tired of being pregnant!

Also, I've had two shitty nights of sleep. 8 hours between them...

4 hours sleep a night would be considered a success here. In between DD's wake ups, my insomnia, hip pain and wee trips I average 2-3 broken hours. It sucks!

Charliej86 · 16/06/2015 08:18

Had a pretty decent sleep, first since Thursday, woke up with headache from hell and no sign of paracetamol in the house. Not that I usually use them.
Baby boy was lovely and active yesterday afternoon/evening but has quietend right down again I don't know what to do or how to feel.

Number3cometome · 16/06/2015 09:23

Butler I am the same as you, my csection is booked for the 14th of July, and I want to keep to that date. I do not want baby turning up early.

Did you hear that baby? do not turn up early! I have this planned down to military precision in relation to Maternity leave (finish on the 10th) and Paternity leave (he finishes on the 13th!)

Kids are all sorted to stay at grandparents the night before (parents work shifts so it wasn't easy!) so no baby, no, STAY PUT.

Shit night sleep though, went to bed at 9pm (which is mega early for me) feeling sick, belly ache, periody and headache. Wide awake at 3am (and randomly it was almost light?!) then fell asleep, alarm rudely woke me up for work at 5:20.

Urgh.

MrsFbabyNo1 · 16/06/2015 15:18

Busy old me again so struggling to keep up, partly work and also nice things like visiting friends over weekend and our wedding anniversary yesterday.

Had my gtt this morning, surprisingly for me I wasn't hungry at all. The drink was just lucozade so was able to drink it fine. the results should be in later at teatime, so fingers crossed til then...

I want baby to stay put til at least term so I can go mlu (if not got g.diabetes!), but might try some tempting him out after I finish work end of June. It'll be another 6 weeks for me if he stays put til 42 weeks, that seems ages to go.

What do people think about evening primrose oil to help ripen cervix? Anyone going to do that? Can take daily tablets orally but also insert inside over night. I'm 36wks Thursday so was thinking may start then. Or as jmojo said think some regular bonking from now on will do the same job and is more enjoyable! Wink

I'm literally excited for all of you thinking you might be getting your labour signs. Grin

Fattycow · 16/06/2015 18:18

If I go over, I might actually have my baby on our wedding anniversary! Now that would stop our tradition of going to the venue for a nice dinner out on the day. Grin

Me too Fatty, due on the 7th and wedding anniversary is the 14th.

lightgreenglass · 16/06/2015 18:39

Thank you all for your well wishes. I gave birth on Sunday morning to a boy, 5lb 12oz which is good - he was 35+2. I got discharged on Sunday night and he is in the special baby care unit as was bringing up all his milk but it seems to be going down now so hope he'll be home by the end of the week.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 16/06/2015 18:52

Fatty if I do go over... ten days after d day is MrF's 40th! Would be a fab present of his first born son, but I'm not that good to give birth for perfect present timing!

I'm guessing Stinky! Wink Any more news on possible symptoms?

Luckystar82 · 16/06/2015 20:25

Lovely news lightgreen congratulations! Gets more real with every birth announcement! I wonder how zampa and little one are doing. Has anyone heard anything?

Charliej86 · 16/06/2015 20:25

Congrats lightgreen.

I found some energy this morning and we've managed to sort almost all of baby boys things in the house ready. Mine/his bags ready, Moses basket set up, pram in new place. New drawers arriving tomorrow for me to put his clothes in. Well just have cot to bring over from parents.

My bro has just told that his gf is 10weeks pregnant, woop! Due in January. Can get all excited to go again as soon as the boy is out.

Fattycow · 16/06/2015 20:30

Charlie, congrats on becoming an aunty in January!

I'm hoping I'm next MrsF but symptoms have eased off slightly other than dull, period like pain
