I'm not on stats sheet as I only update on my iPhone and it doesn't let me.

MrsFbabyNo1 · 11/06/2015 20:10

Went to mlu for an antenatal check up there today (as I'm with out of area community midwife they like to check those booked are still suitable a mth before d day). 35 weeks today.

I'm now measuring off my growth chart. First bump measure was 50th line, second was 90th, today I'm even more above 90th line. So been booked for gtt (joys) and growth scan next week to check on the potentially chunky monkey.

I know we've had the growth charts inaccuracy discussion, so wont worry too much (ok a little) until then - as mw did say she thought could just be bump shape as while he's head down he seems to stick bum out a fair bit and still not engaged yet. but better to know earlier rather than wait until another mw apt.

On plus side get to see scan of our bigger baby (seems ages since 20 week scan) and as I was intrigued to also know what he weighs now!

MrsFbabyNo1 · 11/06/2015 20:15

Congratulations owl your little girl sounds just lovely! pics would be great if you'd like to share.

I use the app but can get onto a pc so will update my stats and will definitely remember to post birth fatty! but yeah guess we'll never know all the outcomes for all, shame as I like a good birth announcement. it's exciting to think we are all nearing the home stretch! babies babies and more babies Grin

lightgreenglass · 11/06/2015 22:40

I've been a long time lurker and on the stats, am currently in hospital as waiting to be induced tomorrow. My waters broke at 34+4 and I will be 35 weeks tomorrow. This is my second and I used to laugh at people who packed their hospital bags early as I packed mine the day before last time so make sure you pack your bags ladies!

smallgreenbanana · 11/06/2015 23:13

lightgreen good luck! FlowersSmile You will meet your baby soon!!

Fattycow · 11/06/2015 23:17

Good luck lightgreen x

It's getting so close for us all now :)

I am feeling loads better at the bottom line !! Thanks for all your concern, it actually helped :)

I have been keeping up but can't remember what/who to answer at the moment ! Baby brain. Mat leaves kicked in for some -woohoo

I got room sorted - looking lovely. Need to get a chair and that's it.

Done the primark/boots shop so all to get packed for hospital.

I'm out to get an exercise/birthing ball and the hairdressers today.
My sofa is too low and back is aching - I remember "rotate to dilate" too Wink I'm getting excited now. 37 + 1 (lmp) 37 + 3 (scan) Grin

Hope everyone is doing good and spd is behaving HmmFlowers

Charliej86 · 12/06/2015 10:42

Sunburn @ 35weeks + uncomfortable sleep = grumpy unhappy sleep mammy to be!!

meeskamooska · 12/06/2015 11:03

Good luck today lightgreen!

I'm not on the stats list either sorry I don't think I can do it on iPad and that's all I have.

Congrats owl Flowers

I feel HEAVILY pregnant now at 35 and a half weeks, I'm getting lots of period type pains and been being sick again, I feel like this little one may make an earlier than planned appearance. But how do you know what's normal and what's early labour? Is anyone else getting period pains along with a heavy low feeling?
My hip pain I've been having throughout the pregnancy is just awful now, I think I'm definitely waddling now. I look like I'm ready to drop.

How's everyone else feeling? I'm so hot as well!

charlieis30 · 12/06/2015 12:49

I'm starting to feel pretty pregnant as well meeska. Belly becoming heavy, definitely waddling (thanks for pointing that out DH!), starting to get light preiod-type cramps, hips hurting, tired all the time, as well as very emotional. I also dreamt about going into labour last night!

I think on balance I'm pretty lucky though, I'm still feeling OK despite all the niggles and am doing pretty well with the positive thinking - after all, this all means I'm getting closer to meeting my little girl!

broodylicious · 12/06/2015 12:52

meeska, I feel the same - I've started with the sickness and nausea again (wow, a whole eight weeks off puking, such a generous baby!) and have had achey period pains in the last few days as well. A lady at dd's ballet class today said I'd changed shape a lot since last week and she'd be amazed if I went the 38 days!

arete, yay for rotate to dilate! SmileSmile

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 12/06/2015 12:57

Meeska I'm 36+3 and feel exactly the same. Baby is almost fully engaged, I am carrying very low and have so much pressure on my cervix. I asked the midwife if it indicated that the baby would come early yesterday and she said unfortunately it doesn't really work like that and there's no way of knowing! DD was 6 days over so to be honest I'm expecting to go over with this one too.
Oh and the sickness never really stopped here Sad, I've been sick most days of the pregnancy. It stopped completely at 13 weeks with DD so has been a complete shock to the system!

fattymcfatfat · 12/06/2015 13:01

I'm the same with period pains and cervical pains. and I waddle. (I did anyway but it's worse now!) my DS called me a penguin this morning. thanks kid, I love you to Grin

SPD still very painful. they said they could give me acupuncture in my foof but I'm a bit Confused I know it's irrational but I don't want needles anywhere near tgere as there's a sack of water in there!
on a brighter note my spine is holding up nicely considering my size (this is what physio told me) and she said the chances of me making a full recovery are quite high despite what happened last time.

fattymcfatfat · 12/06/2015 13:02

oh and I've never stopped puking!

gluenotsoup · 12/06/2015 13:46

Well, I just typed a nice lone post, and it's not here !!

Just saying I am still around, just can't keep up with you all ! 36 weeks on Sunday, will post again later x

SparklyPenguin · 12/06/2015 15:33

I suspected I'd developed a waddle over the last couple of weeks.... This was confirmed for me when (for unrelated reasons) we had to check over some CCTV footage at work today, and there I was, centre-stage, walking around in a very ridiculous penguin-esque fashion. 34+6 and swollen ankles definitely not helping. Roll on maternity leave (3 shifts to go Smile)

Charliej86 · 12/06/2015 16:00

Wow well done you ladies that have just noticed/had pointed out a waddle. Think I've waddled since 28weeks. OH takes great delight at pointing it out as well as a dad at DS's school.

smallgreenbanana · 12/06/2015 19:06

Smallgreenbanana has left the building! Well actually I did that at 3pm when my lovely colleagues took me out for tea and cake and then to the pub. Now on maternity leave!!! Grin

Supershiv1 · 12/06/2015 20:26

lightgreen hope all is going well today. My hind waters broke at 31+5 during Eurovision and I have been in and out of hospital since. Currently 34+4, have had abs and steroid injections. Have been told I will be induced around 36/37 weeks.

smallgreenbanana · 12/06/2015 22:28

Thinking of you too lightgreen

Amongst all the waddling have you noticed lots of BH? I feel like my bump is hard a lot now. Had to "rotate to dilate" at the railway station earlier - well it relieved my sore bump and back anyway. Couldn't give a fig what the commuters thought, if they were even looking!

smallgreenbanana · 12/06/2015 22:30

meeska so hot on the train but water spray on my face saved the journey! Unpacked it from my hospital bag specially. Will have to remember to put it back.

Aretepetite · 14/06/2015 07:10

Pesky leg cramps have been waking me up for about a week or more now Angry

Charliej86 · 14/06/2015 08:27

With you there arete. Can't sleep well at all. Baby shower today and I'm grumpy from lack of sleep.

Aretepetite · 14/06/2015 08:36

Oh no !
Try rest just now and have some nice breakfast & a bath !?
You will enjoy it - think positive :)

I need out! ! I'm waiting patiently for shops to open Grin

Enjoy your day charliej Flowers
