JS viroids are here in their 28th outing complete with exploding belly buttons. There's royal foofs and jiffy bag gifts, but most certainly NOT x-rated colouring books at the VAGINA party HQ!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the 28th grads thread... celebrating the success of Just Shagging in getting us viroids upduffed!

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The thread we have graduated from is here in its 46th outing. WARNING: they're all a bit kerazy not to mention randy!

There is also a Just Mumming thread in postnatal clubs here for once your babies come along, or to keep up with the graduated graduates!

There is also a private facebook group (so it doesn't give the game away in your news feed!)... if you want to join to see photos of new babies etc, just ask in-thread!

Here is the stats list, please update your own spot with any updates: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1oLJqpadAb2givKYq8OJfGCti3s6xzsTGlI-GoaBfM_M/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Im staying in. Contractions closer, still no pain. Not dilating yet. DH is still out. I drove myself to hosp. Told him to stop drinking and to go home. Not sure how he will get here,we only have ond car! But there will be buses tomorrow i suppose.

Cymraes17 · 16/05/2015 21:13

Grandad is with DCs just in case you thought i left them home alone!

Purpleball · 16/05/2015 21:16

Aargh just typed a long post and lost it.

We've been offered nothing by DHs family. His sister has a 2.5 yr old so she must have stuff to get rid of. I'm hoping it's just because they haven't seen us for a few weeks. Otherwise I'm a bit narked!
TBF we don't know what any of my family will buy yet apart from the pram from my parents, and what my brother and SiL will give us. My sister has nothing left from hers, she gave it all away.

La I don't know why a humidifier is necessary, I don't know anyone who has one. I always understood bumpers to be dangerous.
We will swaddle using a sheet as that worked for my sister then move onto grow bags. I think 3-4 sets of bedding/grobags is the minimum. You don't want to be in the middle of a poonami and not have clean stuff.

Purpleball · 16/05/2015 21:18

Oooh gx for a pain free labour Cym and that DH gets there soon. I'm sure someone will give him a lift Smile

gaggiagirl · 16/05/2015 21:30

I've just had a big gush of water come out of me and I'm on my own with little miss and hysterical and have no bottoms on and I don't have a number for the midwife I don't know what to do I cant stop crying

Pisghetti · 16/05/2015 21:35

Ga can you call labour ward? There'll be midwives there at least and they'll be able to help x x

Purpleball · 16/05/2015 21:50

Ga phone DP and get him to come home
Labour ward is best bet. It might not be reason to panic but you're probably gonna have to go in.
Get someone to come look after DD

Don't panic lovie I'm sure you'll be fine

Toast85 · 16/05/2015 21:55

Oh ga love, Yes do call the hospital there will be someone who can give you advice.

LaLaLaaaa · 16/05/2015 21:55

Ga sending you a big hug try to take some deep breaths. Find your maternity notes and call the delivery ward number to speak to a midwife.

See if someone can come look after wee one so you're free to go in if they say so.

couldntbebothered · 16/05/2015 21:58

La - bedding wise have a few of everything as you will inevitably have a middle of the night poo/sick explosion and need clean bedding to hand. No to bumpers. No idea why a humidifier would be required?? Clothing wise at least 5 vests and baby gros, maybe more depending on how often you wash/how sicky baby is - I went through 5 in one day recently...not the norm but was glad of some spares!!

Gaggia hope all ok

DulcetMoans · 16/05/2015 22:01

Oh gaggia, keep calm, get your pants on and call the hospital. Is there and assessment centre? Is the midwife number on your notes? I went in for having water loss and all was fine. They think it was just an embarrassing about of CM that turns to liquid when it's hot apparently.

Hope DH is pulling himself together cym, sure it's one quick way to sober up!

Camp out until they do it tori! Tears and total refusal to move. Should work!

Good questions la! I think you'll need more sleep bags too as they are likely to be making a mess of them. At that NCT sale I was at last week they a lady bought loads of them! We have 4 I think.

I'm gardening tomorrow too tee, and I'm doing pots! DH is doing lawn and killing the raspberry that is the tormenting fucker of my borders - seriously, never plant a raspberry in your garden!

I think it was the 'don't buy any nappies' statement that annoyed me about the MIL the most - don't tell me what to buy! Wonder if we will be this weird when we are MILs!

gaggiagirl · 16/05/2015 22:02

Thankyou everyone. I did that I'm on my way in now DDs dad has taken her. I maybe wet myself in epic style. I really want to feel stupid but I don't I'm shitting myself.

deeplybaffled · 16/05/2015 22:04

gaggia - call the labour ward and they can hopefully talk you through what to do next. Also call mr g / your parents and adk them to come to help with the little one and to hold your hand. Hope all is well, will be thinking of you. Xx

LaLaLaaaa · 16/05/2015 22:07

Ga after all you've said about wee trouble it could be absolutely possible that it's pee related rather than baby. Thinking of you take care xx

Thanks everyone for answers. Humidifier question was because I keep seeing them on nursery must by lists and didn't get why.

Purpleball · 16/05/2015 22:12

Ga hope everything is ok. Keep us posted Smile

honeysucklejasmine · 16/05/2015 22:18

Ga Flowers

Hobbit19 · 16/05/2015 22:28

Ga, it is quite common for upduffed ladies in the later stages to pee themselves and think it is their waters going, just one of those things. Gx that is the case for you.

Cym, hope you are okay on your own and that DH hurries up! Contractions with no pain sounds like a winner. I literally know nothing about labour

Thinking of you ga - bet it's just another pissy pants moment and hopefully you've nothing to worry about, keeping my GX for you xx

deeplybaffled · 16/05/2015 22:33

Cross post. Gx that it is all fine and it is just a pee/ cm mini - eruption. But you have done the right thing in going to be checked. Flowers

deeplybaffled · 16/05/2015 22:35

Cym and tori - hope all goes well for you both too and there will be a hat trick of good viroid news soon.

teejayem · 16/05/2015 22:36

Have fx you've just peed yourself ga (not a sentence I ever thought I'd type to anyone!) sending non mn hugs, rice Krispy cakes, lots of love, hope you get some reassurance asap xx

dulcet yeah, we are in an unwanted plant situation too Mr tee is doing something with membranes onto try and control the weeds on the flowerbeds, we have cruddy clay soil here so I think we are going to gravel anything non grass and then I'll stick some pots on top of it, there's also a massive thorny fucker at the end of the garden which he's going to cut down while I shout instructions from my pots :)

WilHarlot · 16/05/2015 22:42

Hope everything's ok Gaggia, keeping everything crossed for you.

Can't believe you're by yourself Cym, typical it would all kick off when DH is on a night out!

Good luck tomorrow Tori.

La I say at least 3 lots of all bed related things. It isn't actually that common to have poo explosions in bed though.
Definitely no to bumpers - if they wear sleeping bags they're really not necessary anyway.
I'd go for a minimum of 10 babygrows etc. Imagine if your washing machine breaks. We have approximately 7000 bodysuits. People will give you stuff though. You'll need some bibs after the first few months when the incessant dribbling starts. Also you might want some sock-ons.
With your history I wouldn't be getting any swaddle which is tight round the legs - not until the wee one has been scanned anyway. There are a couple of brands which just swaddle the top half. Obviously your decision though God am I turning into the mother/MIL?

Many people have that view of bfing unfortunately La. I couldn't give a shite and wap them out anywhere. It would be impossible to get a decent latch in the early days under one of those tent things. I find having a muslin underneath to catch any spillage and then pulling it up round the sides hides any unwanted flesh flashing.

Toast85 · 16/05/2015 22:53

Loving the gardening chat, when you've finished do you want to all come do mine? I'll provide magnums obv.
Stealth boast warning
We have a mahoosive garden
stealth boast over
But it is a mess, full of weeds, greenhouse that's falling apart, veggie beds that are growing nothing but weeds, needs a really big sort out. We do have some sort of concrete patio area and an ok lawn area near the house, but it gets a bit wild after that. I have green fingered visions but that's all, I managed to dig a flower bed and plant bulbs and shrubs in it in the front garden last year but that's been invaded by weeds now and I haven't been arsed to pull them up yet. So any offers to come and do some heavy manual labour welcome Wink!

Ga hope you're ok, glad you're getting seen to.

gaggiagirl · 16/05/2015 23:26

I just pissed myself! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! Baby is fine maternity unit was fucking amazing they said its common and its always best to get checked out. Had an internal and swabs and wee test cos they think I might have an infection. I'm so happy. Now to tell all my family that I just wet myself!
