December 2015 #3 - riding out the first trimester!!

Noticed we were getting a bit full in the last thread! Roll up, roll up for more scanning, puking, worrying and other distractions to take us through the first trimester!

Had a successful scan today! All looks healthy, and the nt results looked fine (1.9mm) and bean was nice and wriggly! Due date has stayed the same at 18 December, and my 20 week scan is 31 July, when I'll be exactly 20 weeks...

I've got no idea how to pm, but I'm on a tablet, so I think I'm missing some of the functions.... will try from work tomorrow!

Great scan here too. Baby was sleeping so had to jig around to wake it up very cute. Nt measurements all good and due date now 16th December. Have asked to join fb now all ok.

Only just found this thread! Been looking through the pregnancy ones previously. This is great, all December babies. Although skim reading around some stories are so sad. I didn't know you could miscarry and not know....

I believe I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. First pregnancy. Had lots of symptoms weeks 5 (when I found out but realise now I did feel some before) to 8/9; nausea, unfillable foodwise but fussy at the same time, coffee is practically offensive, sore boobs, irritable, amazingly tired etc, but none at all for last two weeks, they did slowly go tho and I still feel pregnant. I think....

Generally excited about baby, although now a little more concerned than I had been as to whether all is ok. Can't wait for my scan on the 22ed and very hopeful for all to be well. Just want to be properly excited and looking forward to it all!

Not sure how to PM afloat to send fb email... Bit of a techno-phobe lol

I'm keen to join the FB group but nervous too! I know it's a private group but sometimes I can see which private groups people join in the newsfeed down the righthand side of the page! Does anyone know how to avoid that?!
We've got people lined up to tell face-to-face and I'd hate for them to spot that first! I'm guessing our group is called December babies or something similar?!

Otherwise, all fine here. Still knackered by the end of the day (12+6) but feeling better generally.

Hi Pepper, our FB group is secret, which is slightly different to a private group in that you can't search for it and doesn't show up on your profile. You also have to be invited to join rather requesting to join if that makes sense?

Baby chops all fine and well :-) actually measuring a week ahead putting it at 13+1 with new EDD Dec 14th!

As for mummy chops, head down the pan last 24hours :-( I thought it was meant to get better now?!

quick opinion request - is anyone else stuggling to keep up with the amount of hair growing on their bodies? my legs are positively gorrilla like!

I go on holiday a week on saturday and was considering waxing but given the rate it's growing, wonder if it's worth it?! it might have grown back by the time I get on a flight!!!

Does anyone have any experience of this? Any tips?

Very variable on the hair growth - legs same as you but always like that! Underarms, bikini etc (which are waxed not shaved) barely any growth since waxing late April.

Pepper sparkle is right, it is secret, so you can't find it. I am a member of another group which is private rather than secret and you can search for that and see members, with a secret group you can't.

Congrats on your scan news chops, and all the others!

I had my Harmony test this morning which also included another ultrasound. The nt measurement was only 1.4mm today and the nasal bone was clearly visible, so the sonographer said he is fairly optimistic that our results should come back clear. Hopefully we'll hear back by the end of next week.

Oh Metal that is brilliant news, did it give you some relief?

Thanks baby, I am feeling a bit more reassured, though the nt measurement is the least accurate of the screening tests and so things could still go wrong, but I'm trying to think positive!

Good to hear positive scan news to all those whove had their scans.

#ED the hair issue is killing me mine is so coarse and thick and growing T minus 0 minute. I epilate which normal me that last 2 weeks or so my currently it's every 3 days I have to keep up. I feel like just labouring the whole thing and grow some dreads :-)

I had my scan today and all looked good, though I was sat waiting like a plonker for 2 hours because the receptionist didn't tell me the right place to go! Never mind.

I had 12 week scan last week, all seems good. Just waiting for blood result. Got my 20 week on 28th July. My due date's been adjusted to 14th July.
